My Mistake
So this is how taking Molly feels like huh?, I was all over my bed trying to get up but I was so lazy to even try, I felt so cold as the fan blew in my direction.
"We have exams by 3pm"
I was trying to figure out what that meant and who that was. Oh! Of course it's mide, I still feel like I was going to explode, my head was banging real fast and really hard, at this point I knew that shit wasn't meant for me "why's my heart beating so fast" I placed my left arm on my chest trying to feel my heart beat .
Richard is a fucking bastard! And then again I can't blame him for my stupidity, I have never taken a Molly before and I jumped into it last night, I still didn't feel so good and wanted to sleep all day but I have exams!!!
I've decided to get off my bed and get ready for my examination, I walked straight into the bathroom picking up my tooth brush, pressed some paste on it as I looked at myself in the mirror "my eye feels so big" I said to myself as I brushed my teeth, washed my month and cleaned it up with a towel
Why does it feel like I'm missing something? Maybe my phone? Or my power bank?? No!!!!! A fucking morning after pills, I ran straight to find my phone which I couldn't find anywhere
"Mide, do you have any idea where my phone is?" I asked her right from across my room but there was no response, I walked down into her room "mide, good morning"
She looked at me smiling like I've done something to make her happy "hmmm… good morning baby girl"
"Yeah yeah, I can't find my phone" I said while I placed my palm on my head
"You left it in the living room na"
"Okay, thanks" I walked to the living room and sighted the phone right on the shelf
"I should better call Yinka to get it for me, I can't even go out now" I said to myself
I dialed Yinka's number but he wasn't answering "omo, why he no go pick na" I said in frustration as I dialed it again but this time he picked up
"Hello Yinka, good morning" I started "I wan make you help me buy one drug, when you get there tell them you want morning after pills" i added
"Abeg do fast o abeg" I pleaded and ended the call Mide stared at me right across her room with her arm crossed "babes, you had Sex last night?" She asked looking surprised "I thought it was just kissing but Sex?, with someone you don't even know?" I could tell she was upset
"See mide I really don't have strength for all this your talks this morning, we have exams by 3:00pm and that's what you should be talking about" I said as I walked down to my room ignoring her angry face "I'm not even a child, so what if I had sex?" I added
The look on her face wasn't something I wanted to see but I could tell I messed up looking at her
"Guyy!! You know how this country is oo, what if something bad happens to you? What if he is a ritualist or something like that?" Mide sounded so so worried but then it happened already and I'm fine "I'm fine mide,you really don't have to worry about me" I told her
"I shouldn't worry about you? Really? " she said walking towards my room "bro we live together, even if I'm not your best-friend at least we live together and I wouldn't want to be held accountable for your stupidity"
"You know what mide? Yes I had sex and it's not a big deal so stop making it sound like it was,okay?"
Why would having sex be a big deal to her anyways, she's the type to have sex with different guys "at least I'm not like you, I don't do it with different people every weekend" okay that might have been the wrong thing to say
"What the fuck bro!" She was upset at this point and she might as well cry in front of me, she's such a cry baby but then she didn't cry she just walked away, parked her stuffs and left the house.
My phone rang and it was Yinka, I went outside to pick up the package I had him get for me and headed back inside
I wasn't wrong about what I said but I shouldn't have said that to her face.
I freshened up, used the pills and headed to school
"I'm sorry I couldn't make it last night, you know I'm not a fast reader and I had to cover up all of the handouts for todays' exam" Mary said as she handed over a wrapped box
Oh yeah! Mary is also a friend of mine who was suppose to go with mide and I to the club last night. She's such a great person, mary would have been my best-friend but we have so many differences that could make us fight.
"Aww… thank you so much babe, honestly you didn't even have to get me anything" I said as I placed the wrapped box inside my bag, it wasn't a big box so it fitted into my bag perfectly
"I couldn't hang out so I had to get you a gift, it's the least I could do" she said as she smiled at me
"Thank you sweetheart" I said
We finished the exam around 5pm and even till now Mide is no wear to be found, I don't even know if she came for her exam. I dialed her number on my phone, it rang for a while and stoped "Is she really mad at me?" I asked myself as I dialed her number again, this time she picked up
"Mide I'm sorry, I know I shouldn't have said that and I'm really sorry"
"Okay"
"Let's meet at home, I promise to buy you pizza and cold stone"
She smiled and said softly "I can't hate you, I'm home"
"Okay, I will be home soon. Should I get the pizza on my way or when I get home?"
"Come home first, we should go together"
"Alright then" I hanged up and headed home
I got home around 7:30, mide was asleep on the couch
"She didn't even lock the door" I said as I bounced myself on the couch next to were she was sleeping
"I'm half asleep" she said softly as she opened her eyes smiling at me
"You don smoke again" my eyes trying to trace any sign of weed "should I order the bolt now? Or kelvin would come and pick us up"
Oh! Kelvin is like the only reasonable male friend mide has, he's very smart and nice too, most of her male friends wish to get down with her but then kelvin is different. He would do anything for mide but then she wasn't a dating type, mide is more of a play girl but who cares, she is still the most attractive and beautiful person I've ever seen, I could even say she looks more beautiful than I look.
"No, his car has issues and I don't want to stress him, he has exams tomorrow morning" she replied
I picked up my phone and ordered for a ride.
I went into my room to change into something more comfortable
"The ride is here"
We both left the house looking so comfortable. I was putting on a short dress while mide was wearing a short and round neck.
Few minutes later we arrived at our destination
"BBQ pizza yeah?" I asked
"Yes please and mint ice cream" Mide can be weird sometimes because who likes mint ice cream
"Mint ke" I said as I laughed
"Na wetin I wan be that, no pressure me"
"Tsk, what horrible taste you have when it comes to ice cream" I said as I walked over the counter to place our order
The pizza was ready after 30 minutes, we sat and enjoyed what we ordered and ate enough till we were filled up while we headed back home
