FIRST CHAPTER :

PROLOGUE

"WHAT THE HE-"

ALMOST three words came out of my mouth.

I was overwhelmed by the rays of the sun that landed on my face. When I opened my eyes, I saw a woman on my right side pulling the long curtain of the window in my room.

" Wake up Oliver. It's Friday. You still have schoo l " the old woman told me while opening the two adjacent windows.

My window is made of transparent glass so the sun's rays can easily penetrate my face.

I woke up unexpectedly. I didn't notice that it was morning. Another day for me.

"What the hell is that Ernesta ! You see that the person is still sleeping here and then you will wake him up. If anything, you haven't been taught manners " I complained when I told her while holding my neck with my right hand because of the pain caused by not my sleeping position is good

It always hurts when I sleep in a wrong position, so it's like I'm crippled by the pain.

Ernesta turned to me after she adjusted the window curtain and I could see it in her crossed eyebrows, her narrowed eyes and also her lips that were already twitching and there were traces of the annoyance she felt at what was said.

It looks like this old woman is having a bad trip from what I'm talking about now so I gave him an insulting smile from my furrowed brow .

I will not let my day be ruined because of her waking me up and her sermons to tell me .

" What do you call me Oliver? ERNESTA? Just Ernesta? Not even Mama or Aunt Ernesta? Huh ! " he said angrily as he folded his hands

I smiled at him in return for the nonsense he was telling me now. I think it's better to tease this old woman than what grudge I have to carry this morning .

"Oh! You're so disrespectful! In my opinion, no one younger than me has dared to call my name. Maybe you're forgetting that you're still talking to your mom," Ernesta said annoyed to me that I was still teaching. he pointed to his right hand and his face showed a look of annoyance that was even worse than what I said earlier

I gave a big laugh to the old woman. My face was full of joy because of what he said funny .

"Why? Is there something funny in what I said, Oliver ? " the old man asked in surprise

I took a deep breath and then I stretched out my hands and twisted my cases and after that I put my two hands on the bed .

I gave him a straight look in the eye and a sarcastic smile causing him to fold his arms and look at me evilly.

" What if Ernesta is the only one who wants to call you, Old woman ? Then why do I call you Mama ? Why ! Are you my mother ? Then what did you say ? Aunt Ernesta ? Really aunt ? Hahaha ! Are you kidding me? Why ?! Am I your niece ? " I replied to him apologetically with a frown on my face

Maybe he thought I was afraid of him because he is older than me, but he is sorry because I am not afraid of him and especially of what he says.

The old man stared at me because of the hurtful things I said and repeated weak nods and a laughing reaction in his mouth while folding his arms and stomping his right foot weakly was his response to me.

" ABA ! You're answering me now even that you're young ! " he said after he showed me his right hand that I thought he was going to slap me in the face but luckily he stopped for a few seconds

"Jusko Ernesta. Stop yourself. That's still Antonio's son " he said with his eyes closed while his hands were tightly closed as if holding a rosary after a few moments

I still heard the words that came out of his mouth even though he said them in a whisper. Maybe he thought I was deaf so I couldn't hear what he said but he didn't know that my hearing is even cleaner than his ears that have been filled with earwax hehe.

A few moments later, he opened his eyes and looked at me smiling .

There is a trace of relief on his face as if he has not felt annoyed since earlier .

I raised my two eyebrows at him because of surprise. Terrible! The old decrepit suddenly changed mood ! What a trip ! ?

I also noticed his teeth so instead of being annoyed by his weird reaction, I just discussed his teeth.

"Look at the doctor, I can see that your teeth are rotten just like your personality hehe " I laughed and insulted him while pointing my right hand's index finger at his dentures which were already turning red in color

From her plastic smile, it was replaced by annoyance and shock on her face as he closed her eyes and clenched her hands. I stretched out my hands after seeing that and then stood up. Looks like I've regained the few minutes that were lost to me now hehe !

"Next time, don't let the sleeping person disturb you. Let me wake up with my own eyes, is that a clear sign ? ! ​​hehe " I quietly whispered in my right ear

I patted his right shoulder with my right hand and then I accompanied him with an insulting smile and looks at him causing me to feel his restraint from touching him.

This old man must have thought that he would ruin my day but he was wrong because my day only got better because of my teasing him. It's good hehe !

I immediately went to the bathroom to take a shower. I don't want to waste my time for the old woman !

I took the green towel hanging on the wall near my bathroom door with my left hand and hung it over my left shoulder.

I turned to see what the old woman , Ernesta , was doing and saw that she was about to walk out of my room. It's good that the old woman thought to run away but she can really taste my scream hmm ! .

After that I entered the bathroom.

I closed the door because I don't want anyone would to disturb my shower and just knock on the door whenever they want. You don't want to take a bath when that happens, right? !

After I closed the door, I immediately went to the bathroom sink to brush my teeth.

I immediately took my green toothbrush with the name Oliver on it with my right hand. I stared at the toothbrush I was holding for a while .

This toothbrush is very old because Mommy gave it to me before she died. I keep it because this is the only memory I have left with Mommy . Hey ! It's hard without you Mommy !
