" Sab, stop!!!"

I have noticed a black silky animal move near him. He halts but it's already too late. A black snake hisses and bites his hand. He screams in pain and shakes it off. The snake quickly crawls and I lose sight of it. I ran to him and hold his hand. His brown skin is already turning reddish. I take off my headscarf and tie his hand. He is in pain and he falls to the ground. I bend to suck the poison out.

" Leila you can't do that."

" I have to it will help"

" No the poison is too fast"

" Then give me your hand I'll get you to the hospital."

His breathing is getting worse and I try to lift him but he stops me.

" Get me an inhaler from the car"

I quickly take the keys and ran to the car. in few minutes I am back with it. I help him take it and his breathing gets better. I notice he is looking intensely at me.

" What a beautiful soul I have met today."

" Sab, I need you to get up."

" No just hold me please."

I quickly hold him in my arms.

" I know this is crazy but for the last few moments I have been with you, I have fallen in love with you. I love you Leila."

A drop of tear starts to form in my eye.

" Today has been the best day in my life. Did you enjoy being with me?"

" Enjoy? I loved being with you. Now please stand up I can't see you suffering anymore."

He coughs and I notice some blood with it.

I lean in and kiss him. A lot of emotions accompany that moment. My heart suddenly became a heavy. He turns and looks intensely at me.

I sob and some new strength occupies my body. I immediately lift his hand to suck the poison. I am distracted by the alarm in his wrist clock. 00.00 seconds . I turn to look at the love of my life. His cold blue eyes are warm now and unmoving. His body his steady and his breathing has stopped. But in all that he is wearing the sweetest smile I have ever seen. A painful tear leaves my left eye.
