549 They Were A Perfectly Normal Family

"Welcome back, Dr. Dawson!" 

Elle Dawson smiled at the vet tech who had just greeted her. "Good to be back." 

She hadn't been as involved in the surgical center as she would have liked the past few years. As little as she could get away with while keeping her vet license active so she could be with her sons while they were too young to go to preschool. 

She hadn't wanted them to have a nanny. That felt too much like a rich person thing and that so wasn't her even after so many years of being a billionaire. 

Elle's mom had stayed home with her when she was little and she had wanted the same thing for her kids. She loved them dearly but she had missed being more involved in her career. 

It was still summer so school was out but she had been going a bit stir crazy so Collin recommended enrolling the boys in a day camp so she could get back to work a few months early. It was only Monday/Wednesday/Friday.
