It took a few days but, eventually, Noelle got a hit. perrygarland49, whose icon happened to be a drawing of one of her favorite female characters, had commented with a surprisingly in-depth analysis. 

'That was a great book! I loved how they portrayed Alaina as a strong female character without making her too abrasive. She was ambitious but didn't disdain love the way a lot of ambitious female characters seem to. She wasn't too proud to admit that she did better with a partner to bounce ideas off of. And Devin was such a dreamboat. I wish someone loved me enough to take a bullet for me.'
