Gwen smiled at Noelle in appreciation as she thanked her. It wasn't a big deal. Mateo picking up on the fact that she seemed to intend to go stay with Hunter so soon after they made up was. 

"What's this about packing your stuff?" 

"I'm going to stay with Hunter because he has better security," Gwen explained. "At least until all of this blows over so Victoria won't have the chance to strike again."

That was a good idea from a safety perspective. Hunter lived in a doorman building. There wouldn't be any surprises at home there until Victoria was caught. It was a lot safer than their little walk-up apartment. 

Explaining everything to the rest of their roommates when they got home after visiting hours ended was difficult though. Jacob and Derek were of the same opinion as Mateo (overprotective male instincts, Noelle supposed) and Marcus and Joy were more in line with Noelle about being supportive.
