534 How Had She Managed To Sneak Up On Him?

"Who's this?" the boy whose leash Rachel was holding asked curiously. 

"This is my friend Felix, Benji! Can you say hi?"

"Hi."

Felix knew her siblings' names. He had seen plenty of pictures of them too. They both had brown hair and eyes like their parents but the shades were much lighter than Rachel's hair. They still looked related somehow though. 

He smiled at the little boy. "Hi, Benji! Hi, Anna."

The little girl at the end of his backpack leash blinked at him shyly. "Hi."

"Let's go," Rachel said resolutely before they headed off to the subway station together. 

For an extra degree of safety once they were there in the crowds, she picked up her little brother and didn't seem bothered by the weight at all. She was probably used to this sort of thing. Felix followed her lead and picked up Anna. Both kids sat in their laps once they were on the train too.
