426 He Could Figure This Out

Preston still hadn't managed to figure it out by the time Lucy's junior prom rolled around. As expected, she was more excited about dressing up than anything and texted him a closeup of her dress so he would know the color but not the design for the sake of finding a matching tie. 

He didn't know anything about formal dance etiquette so he looked it up and realized she would probably be expecting a corsage so he got on that. She would want that to match her dress too. 

He did know she had made her own dress this time rather than going shopping. She had been practicing a lot and had made dresses before but never a formal gown.

Preston looked forward to seeing it. And not only because he knew Lucy looked gorgeous in anything she wore. He was curious what she would have designed for herself for an occasion like that.
