503 Anyone Would Have Done The Same

During Rachel's first week of school, she ate lunch with Dana every day but they often sat there and read once they finished eating because her new friend wanted her to finish those books quickly so they could discuss them. She didn't mind because she had a lot of other things she had to do once she got home. Like final preparations for the trial. 

Unfortunately, she was going to have to miss school for it. That wasn't the only reason she wasn't looking forward to it though. 

She really didn't want to have to see Wendy again. She knew that she wouldn't have to do it alone—her mom, Derek, and all of their friends who didn't have work would be there—but she was still scared. 

There was one bit of good news though. Felix would be there too.
