Opening a war of the heart

"Fahsai brought me this far and I can't seem to find my way out of her life now. I'll protect her in my own way, and it's none of your business!" Daniel warned Officer Thep.

"And let me remind you that your task is to find out who hurt the girls, then you'll be welcome to share such information. You know why is that? I want to ask the culprit as to why he wants to hurt my woman!!!"

Daniel didn't beat about the bush any longer and wanted to warn Officer Thep about overstepping boundaries. Fahsai was his to begin with and the rest of her suitors were nothing compared to him.

Piu saw Thep out Daniel's liar and jolted back to his Boss smiling.

"Have you finally accepted Fahsai as your woman now?" He asked the latter who didn't dignify it with a response. "C'mon, Fahsai can't help it if other men are interested in her." Piu teased and pestered him and Daniel gave him a warning look.

"What? I'm just happy to see you happy again, Boss. And we have Fahsai to thank for that."

"Prepare our trip back to Hong Kong." Daniel told him.

Later on, Daniel paid his parents a visit.

"You look so cheerful after visiting Thailand. Maybe you should just live here." His Mom suggested. "However, why did you abruptly leave for HK ?" She wondered.

"I went to prepare a bracelet for Fahsai." Daniel said.

His father on the other hand, wasn't pleased with Daniel's behavior over a little girl.

"As the leader of Mungkorn Thong, you have a lot of tasks ahead of you." He said.

"Protecting Fahsai is also my job." Daniel argued.

"The biggest danger to your job is a woman." He reminded his son.

"She'll never hurt me." Daniel said.

"Oh really? You were so blinded by that Botan, but where did that get you to? The earlier you let that girl off the hook, the better for you and everyone!!" Mr. Wong thundered.

"Not until I feel that she's safe." Daniel said.

As he ascended the stairs, he peered at a blond man with a tattoo on his neck.

"She's in deep waters with Suer Khao gang." The blond man reported to Mr. Wong who looked at the photos and a concerned look crossed his face. He now knew that Fahsai resembled Botan, the reason why Daniel was persistent to let her go.

Chernming thought back on the kiss he forced on Fahsai and smiled. He visited her next day, much to Fahsai's annoyance.

"Why did you come back? You just can't show up at my house the way you want!" She dragged him out of her house.

"I want to court you. After that night I realized how I feel about you. I have never felt that way about anyone and I have kissed plenty of girls." Chernming said.

"Shut it and listen to me carefully, I have no feelings for you." She said.

"I'm in no rush." He smiled at her as he saw Daniel's car pull into her street. "Hurry with the black book though, because I can't stand it when you're in Daniel's proximity." Chernming declared and sauntered to Daniel.

"I like her. I'm opening a war of the heart with you, bestie." Chernming challenged him.

Daniel tried to contain himself as his men pulled over. He took Fahsai by the hand and led her to a garden.

"Let them be." Chern Piu smiled and warned his left hand man on trailing behind them.

Daniel and Fahsai on an overpass as the fountain sprayed water all around.

"Did he do anything to you?" Dani asked her.

"Nothing happened, what did he tell you?" Fahsai wondered.

"He said he likes you," Daniel replied.

"He might be joking," she said.

"He doesn't jest when it comes to love. Even when it comes to Botan, he didn't even dare to say that he liked her."

"But I don't like him," she lamented.

Daniel's face broke into a subtle smile and said, "I know." He took out the present that he went all the way to HK for, and clasped it around her wrist. It was a golden dragon bracelet.

"This is a representation of me, and it will protect you. If I can't be with you twenty four hours out of the day, this gives me peace of mind until I feel that you're completely safe." Fahsai was touched.

"I won't ever take it off, but in exchange...." She paused. Daniel leaned down so that they were at eye level, and he said, "As long as it's not the stars and the moon."

Fahsai beamed and said, " It is way easier than that."

"I could give you everything." Daniel relented.

She tip toed closer to him and said, "Please agree to be featured in the magazine, pretty please."

Daniel looked at her disappointedly.
