4 3: acceptance

The sound of the alarm woke Eunji up and she quickly switched it off, stretching lazily before getting out of bed.

After freshening herself and brushing her teeth, she made her way downstairs.

Eunji yawned, rubbing her sleepy eyes.

She thought, moving towards the kitchen and preparing her breakfast which consists of toast with jam and chocolate syrup, as well as milk.

She made her way to her dining area when she finished placing everything on a plate.

She sat down at her table, ate her breakfast quietly.

Once she finished eating, she washed the dishes and headed upstairs, preparing to get ready for school.

She went straight to her bedroom and changed into her uniform , combing and styling her hair carefully to avoid getting tangles.

Once done, she grabbed her bag, her keys and the two phones.

she went downstairs and put on her shoes, then head outside , locking the door.

she started walking to school.

'yesterday sure was.. a weird day..well, I'm sure I was so tired I was seeing things ..'

she thought, thinking back on everything.

-a while later-

She entered the fashion department classroom and greeted her classmates " good morning!"

They greeted her back and she made her way to her seat

"Mornin' Jay!"

She greeted him -again- as she put her bag down.

Said male turned to face her and nodded with a smile.

Soon, whispers started filling the air again.

"Hey, there he is!"

"Oh damn~"

"He's like a cartoon hero"

"Look at his figure.."

"Hot"

"He must be so happy to come to school with that face"

'Again..He's still here.. so yesterday was.. real.' Eunji thought, sighing and looking at the male who just entered the class.

'I hate coming to school… I already got hit. They don't know it's me though..' Daniel thought while sulking.

When the chatter settled down, the conversation Zoe, Zack and his goons were having could be heard.

"Suddenly this prick beat him up!"

"I took a picture to ensure he stays silent "

"What picture?" Zoe asked

"You wanna see or not? Hehe "

"Stop it. You think I'm proud of hitting that pig?" Zack scoffed, but deep down inside he was telling them to speak louder.

Eunji furrowed her brows, '... It happened. They -zack- beat up Daniel's original body and humiliated him…'

she bit her lower lip, feeling guilty. 'if.. if only I went there yesterday. I should have helped him somehow..but..'

She sighed 'honestly, it still feels unreal. I'm going crazy'

She snapped out of her thoughts when she heard a loud noise.

She looked up and saw Zack and Daniel standing up, chants of "fight!" Going around.

'one last time.. if what happens now is exactly like the one I read in the webtoon then..I should accept it.'

She thought, paying close attention to the fight between Zack and Daniel.

She was feeling guilty for not stepping in to help Daniel, but she needed to confirm it.

-not like she could do anything-

Besides, if it was true then Daniel is more than capable of looking out for himself.

"Hey wuss, I told you to come at me!" Zack said, getting into his fighting stance.

'his posture is poor.. he's just a pretty boy?'

He thought, staring at Daniel.

"Why's he just standing there?"

"Is he scared?"

"Fuck, I was scared for no reason before"

The goons spoke up.

"Zack Lee, stop!" Zoe yelled.

The whispers grew louder as more people came to witness the fight of Zack Lee , the lighting hands and the good looking new transfer student, Daniel park.

"Oh man.. I guess that guy is not a fighter.."

"That'll be sad to see"

'One punch, one knockout! Let's do this, watch closely! Mira!' Zack thought, but suddenly he felt a hand grip his wrist.

It was Jay.

"Jay? What's he doing?"

"Wow, first time I've seen him step up"

'!? Exactly the same.' Eunji thought, still watching them silently.

'his grip is incredibly strong!' Zack glanced around and saw Mira looking at him.

'Mira!' he immediately shook off Jay's hand " let go!"

And he sent a punch towards Daniel who easily dodged it.

"He dodged Zack's fist "

"He's crazy fast."

"Amazing."

"How'd he do that?"

"Did you see that?!"

"Incredible!"

Everyone was shocked by what they saw.

Amongst them, Min Eunji.

although it wasn't for the same reasons as others.

Zack kept throwing punches at Daniel who was easily Dodging them.

'Who the hell is this guy!? He's reading my shoulders and moving!' Zack thought, clearly pissed off since none of his punches could reach Daniel.

'Mira is watching.. it's humiliating!'

Zack was going to send another punch again but it was a fake one. He immediately switched to his other arm, aiming for Daniel's face making it hard for him to dodge.

'can't Avoid it!' Daniel thought but he ended up blocking it by grabbing Zack's fist.

"He caught it!?"

"What did I just see!?"

"Sick!"

'This! He's obviously a real fighter!' Zack thought.

Little did they know.. that Daniel was actually panicking Inside his head.

'it's getting harder to dodge! I'm going to get hit after all.. someone please stop him!' he thought, mentally crying.

But as soon as he saw the goons, he remembered how they were insulting his mother a little while ago.

He avoided another punch of Zack, while remembering how he used to get hit by Logan Lee.

He sent a punch towards Zack, aiming for his Solar plexus which caused air to get knocked out of him, falling to his knees, saliva running down his mouth as he was coughing.

"One punch and he's down!"

"You saw that?!"

"Sick!"

"Awesome!"

'gum gum pistol! The punch Logan used to hit him with, in his original body!' Eunji thought.

She was pretty impressed seeing it in real life.

The cheers were getting louder and louder.

Zack looked up and saw Mira, his crush and his friend, Eunji watching.

He felt embarrassed.

"Lower your eyes! I saw everyone who smiled! I will pluck your eyes out!"

Eunji sighed and walked up to Mira, nudging her slightly then whispered to her after getting her attention.

"You should take Zack to the infirmary,He must be in pain."

"Oh?uh.. yeah-"

Before she could let her finish her words, Eunji pushed her - gently - towards Zack, who looked at them surprised but he averted his eyes, feeling ashamed and embarrassed.

Mira sighed and held him up, his arm on her neck and shoulders for support.

"Let's go to the infirmary. I told you to stop getting into fights. "

Zack blushed slightly, following along obediently.

'Mira is worried about me!'

He completely forgot the fight that happened earlier, getting lost in his daydreams.

The day went by, nothing else out of the ordinary happened.

Daniel's name reached the ears of everyone else in the school, especially:

Vin Jin from the Vocal and Dance department.

Eli Jang from the beauty department.

Euntae Lee (Vasco<3) from the Architecture department.

Eunji was now on her way back home, but she decided to visit the park for a bit to clear her mind.

She sat on a bench, putting her bag beside her.

She got lost in thought, unconsciously letting out a sigh.

'This is so confusing.. but..'

She clenched her fists, looking up to the sky.

'as much as this may sound crazy.. we were inside the world of a webtoon. Or that phone is showing me the future through drawings. Either way, This is crazy.. luckily tomorrow is the weekend, so I can spend my time to adjust and finish reading it..'
