This story started out well, but went downhill. The mysteries became easier to solve by chapter 36, and he is planning his entire life around a woman that he is in a fake relationship with. He gives up on appropriate promotions too where the cases could be more interesting. The MC is a major simp, and it also tends to ruin the story. Nationalism rears it's ugly head already as well. I've found that if nationalism is present in the trial read, it only gets worse from there. Overall, the author took the story in the wrong direction and ruined it.

How is it that a novel with least view 172k to be precise gets chosen but this one with over 200k view does not? I know this has happened before but it doesn't make it any less annoying 😕😑

So, I've read ahead by a little bit and I have to say that it really is an interesting story. I love the mystery aspect of the cases being solved and this story also has a nice romance that develops over time (no harem). The system seems unnecessary but can be kind of fun, if you like system novels. I'd definitely recommend giving it a try, Ive enjoyed it so far to chapter 115.

The flow of the story is well written. The title may give the impression of typical Chinese faceslapping novel (at least not yet) but it's a crime/mystery with a little bit of comedy and a system to assist the host. I also love the detail where a quest about solving the cases only appear if the case were handed or picked up by the MC. The only nitpick I probably have is the rewards of the system is a little bit overboard.

Honestly the translation quality ruins it for me but otherwise this story has some great prospects to a detective thriller. Hopefully someone with better English understanding and less laziness( all of it is machine translated with almost no edits the guy clearly isn't fluent in English and maybe not even Chinese all the novels that I've enjoyed that is being translated by this number dude i have personally dropped for my own sanity.) hoping a good translator comes around at some point but i'll just drop this for now or if we're lucky the dudes actually puts time into learning the language his translating to improve for the better we can all cope for the future.

wanna give perfect score but the writing quality have a flaw. some words untranslated well so 4.8 is the last result. hope this story can be chosen by editor.

I just read it as a trail and now I am waiting for the next chapters. The story pace is moderate,not too fast or not too slow and the world development is good and it's a good read

This was a good book because it had a lot of different stars and was very stupid and good and funny and not funny and I'm just saying things so I can f****** submit this

so far after 20 chapter. it was fun to read. love that there are a bit romance. but like the action more. crime solving was fun to read. sadly the crimes on the novel is so tragic if happened in real life

i like the mc, smart and have high IQ and EQ.. and that case with the bloody cross, its awesome, its like watching those crime series in tv and the MC was simulating all of ot on hos brain! hahaa
