20 Legal Confrontation

After the initial shock, Bai Ping looked at Fang Xin with admiration. She knew then that her judgment was correct. Fang Xin was indeed suited to become a matriarch.

Even if she had chosen the wrong husband, she knew how to best protect her interests. She was neither servile nor overbearing when she was in trouble. She was calm and self-controlled.

She wondered which family would be so lucky to have such a treasure in future.

The lawyer, Mr. Luo, took a look at the documents and had a rough idea how he could win the case. "With these documents, it's not a problem for us to fight for 80% of the marital assets."

Fang Xin frowned. "But these documents were secretly kept by me. I'm worried that the opposing counsel will use the excuse of improper source of evidence to reject these documents in court."

Based on Fang Xin's knowledge, Qin Jianmin had also hired a very good lawyer. The opposing counsel was especially good at sophistry. He could win the case by denying the validity of the evidence.

Three days later, Mr. Luo officially filed a divorce lawsuit against the Qin family on Fang Xin's behalf. After court, Fang Xin and her sister were halted by the Qin family before they could leave the building.

Qin Jianmin stopped Fang Xin angrily and cursed in public.

"Qin Jianmin, you have the nerve to scold me? When I married you, the Qin family had only a dilapidated factory. If it weren't for my father supporting you and repeatedly giving you orders, would your family business have the scale it has today? What about you?
