Also, this world can be considered an AU. I tried to add it to the tag but I couldn't find it so I have just mentioned it in the synopsis.

As Ryuu followed Kaijin he came upon a room filled with unfinished swords and armor, there was an anvil that seemed to be made of magisteel and a hammer atop it. There was a fireplace near the anvil with flames hotter than normal.
"Hoho, like my workshop?" Kaijin asked.
"Yes, it's what I accepted when entering a blacksmith workshop," Ryuu replied.
"Well, I am not someone with great artistic sense so mine looks quite generic. Anyway, you want armor right then sit there." Kaijin said and pointed at a chair near the armor pieces.
Ryuu nodded and sat on the chair while Kaijin was searching for something. Finally, he picked something from his drawer and walked in the direction of Ryuu.
There was a glowing blue ball in his hand and he pointed it toward Ryuu, the ball then emitted some light that seemed to scan the entire body of Ryuu.
"Neet isn't it, it scans your body sizes making it easier to measure your armor size," Kaijin said.
"Yes, it is a convenient tool," Ryuu replied while nodding his head.
"So what is the price range of your armor?"
"Price range...Hmm, about five thousand to ten thousand gold coins." Ryuu said after thinking for a while.
"Hoo, you seem to want a high-quality armor. It will be done, so do you have any preference with the design of the armor." Kaijin asked.
"Please don't make the armor bulky and anything else I will leave it to you," Ryuu replied.
"Good. come visit me after three days, I will have your armor ready." Kaijin said and started to get lost in his thoughts.
"Understood," Ryuu replied and didn't disturb him anymore and left the shop.
After he left the shop he started to make his way toward an inn, after all, he had to stay in this city for three more days.
'What should I do after getting my armor.' Ryuu thought to himself as he walked through the street of Dwargon.
Just as he was thinking that he remembered the S-rank dungeon that Shizu was planning to visit. Thinking for a while he made it his next destination after all currently if he doesn't attack a demon lord or the like he won't get a good challenge.
After walking for a while he found the in and booked the room for four days. Entering the room it was a standard inn room without anything special about it.
Sitting on the somewhat comfortable bed he took off his mask and looked at the city through the window of his room.
Just as he was doing that he received a thought communication from Ramiris.
'Ryuu can you hear me.. hellowwwwwww' The childish voice of Ramiris rang on his head.
'Yes, I can hear you. Is there anything you need?' Ryuu replied.
'Few, I thought I contacted the wrong person. Anyway are you free currently?' Ramiris asked.
'I guess, so why did you call for?' Ryuu said.
'Well..... You see the Demon Lord Walpurgis is coming....'
'Yes, so..'
'I was wondering if you could join me as my guard.'
'As your guard, You know Ramiris I am the hero everybody is talking about and this Walpurgis is most likely to talk about me. And you want me to join it, how can you be so cruel Ramiris throwing your fried into the wolf's den?' Ryuu said while making a face-said voice.
'No, no it's not like that. I would never do that...' Ramiris hurriedly replied.
'So why do you want me to come?'
'You see I always go there without a guard and the only person who does that except me is that sloth.'
'So..'
'And I don't want to be seen the same as that Sloth.' Ramiris shouted.
'Thus you want me to come.'
'Yes, so can you do this friend of yours a favor and come with me? Pleaseeeee' Ramiris pleaded.
Ryuu was lost in thought for a while and didn't give a reply, seeing him not replying Ramiris was about to give up. But....
'Sure I will follow you.' Ryuu replied.
'Reallyyyyy. I knew you were the best. Hahaha, now that sloth won't be able to laugh at me.' Ramiris beamed with joy and replied while laughing to herself.
'So when do you want me to visit you?' Ryuu asked after Ramiris had calmed down.
'Oh yeah.. Can you get here in five days?' Ramiris asked.
'Quite a tall order but sure.' Ryuu replied.
'Then let's talk more when we meet.' Ryuu said and closed the call.
This could be considered quite a bad idea after all he was considered a hero so he is naturally the enemy of the demon lord. But how can he let go of such a fun opportunity? plus he can escape from there.
And if that fails he will just leave the world, so his life isn't really in any threat. And after things calm down he can reenter the world.
"Let's see how much I still have left to grow," Ryuu muttered to himself as he stood up from the bed.
He had realized that he had picked up a bad habit and that was to challenge himself. So as long as those close to him aren't in any threat he may choose a slightly dangerous route.
He has grown a lot not just physically but mentally as well. He is no longer the bedridden boy, neither is he a machine without emotions, he currently is himself. His is Kusugano Ryuu and that is his identity.
(A/N: Hope you enjoyed this chapter, it is shorter than normal but can't really do anything about it. Well I am gonna head out not so see you in the next chapter.)

(Now then ignoring my past self I have got a question to ask. Do you want Kaguya to be in the harem or not. Please do answer and after a week I would count the total and continue the story while keeping the result in mind.)
