Ch.28 The dwelling of the Sprits

As we entered inside what greeted us was a corridor with walls of stone. It went in a single direction without diverging anywhere.
As we began our journey we saw lights of various colors glittering throughout the corridor. Seeing them the kids couldn't help but exclaim beautiful.
Though they were tempted to chase after the lights but they didn't as they were in an unknown location.
As their teacher seeing their behavior I couldn't help but be proud of them.
As we walk deeper into the corridor the various dots of light start to increase. And then finally after a while the corridor ends and we reach a spiraling stairway that leads us downward.
As we step on it we start to hear the sounds of little children laughing as if they have succeeded in doing a prank.
Well, I know what their prank is. Looking at the staircase I can see a magic spell engraved in it that makes the people on it go around it indefinitely.
Against other people, it may have worked but for me and True Sage, it's literally child's play.
'True Sage will you do the Honor."
[Yes, master]
[Scanning Spell... Scanning completed]
[Commensing removal of Spell..... Successfully Removed.]
As True Sage said that we began our descent and unlike what the spirits thought we reached the next floor in a matter of minutes.
"Booo" sounds could be heard coming from the various dots of light. Especially from the bigger golden ball of light.
As we moved forward we came in front of a room with a very big door. As we neared it the door opened. This looked like a boss room any way you looked at it.
"Is this the boss room?" Ryota shouted. Hearing him shout Alice hit him in the head and said in a low voice.
"Stupid Ryota don't shout what if the boss comes out of the room"
"Well, it seems like a boss room. So after we enter it stay behind me ok." I said while looking at them.
"Ok," all of them said.
After that, we entered the room as all of us stepped foot inside it the door behind us was shut down with a huge bang.
In the middle of the room was a giant golem made of magi-steel in all its glory. As the door was shut down the one eye of the golem glowed red and it looked at us.
It fired an energy beam in our direction seeing that I quickly created a wind blade and cut the attack in two.
Covering myself with lightning I charged toward the golem. Seeing me charging at it the golem fired various missiles at me.
I dodged them all and, creating thousands of wind needles I attack it with it.
Being bombarded by such an attack the golem went on a defense. Creating a magic shield around its body the golem started to tank my attacks.
Well, its strength is only at A- level so I have to weaken my attack so as not to completely pulverize it.
As it was defending against my attack I went behind it and touched its back.
Then using True Sage I stopped the command spell in it that told it to attack us. After disabling that it went docile and its red light stopped glowing.
Well, it's my new record for defeating an A- rank monster within five seconds.
Before I could even celebrate my victory a childish voice was heard.
"Ahh, what did you do to my golem"
And then the biggest glowing yellow light came toward the golem. As it stopped in front of the golem its true appearance was revealed.
A small fairy with blonde hair that is done in pigtails and has yellow eyes.
She hits the golem's head for a while and seeing it not responding she looks at me and says.
"Why did you do that?"
"Well, the answer is quite self-explanatory," I said in a calm tone.
"Why yo." before she could finish her sentence I said.
"Would you like the same treatment as the golem?" As I say that she quickly hides behind the golem.
Other faires of similar height also start to appear throughout the room. Seeing them the children had stars in their eyes.
As if remembering something she quickly comes out of her hiding spot and while doing a pose says.
"How dare you try to threaten me a pillar of the Ten Great Demon Lords, Ramiris of the Labyrinth."
The fairies start to clap at her and the kids also join them. They must be thinking that she is joking currently.
After all in no shape, form, or behavior does she look like a Demon Lord.
"Good for you," I say while giving her a thumbs up with a blank face.
"Are you making fun of me" She shouts seeing my reply and expression.
"Not at all Miss demon lord," I said in the same tone with the same face.
Seeing that she starts to buzz around the room in anger. Looking at her reaction I couldn't help but laugh.
I guess I found another fun activity. Hehe, I wonder what can I do more. I think with an evil smirk on my face.
Suddenly Ramiris feels a sudden chill in her spine.

In a village near the forest of the Spirit, you can see fire and smoke coming from it. This was supposed to be a normal day for the villagers but it all changed with the arrival of a single man.
He had black hair and a muscular build with an oppressive and ferocious air around him.
The villagers seeing him started to shout and run away in fear. It was not due to his face or his oppressive presence.
It was because he was covered entirely with blood while he was holding a severed hand in his hand. He had some minor and major wounds throughout his body but those were healing at an abnormal rate.
Being irritated by the villager's shout he looked at the running villagers. Seeing them he had a cruel look in his eyes.
Giving an evil smirk he covered his hand with magicule and created a beast's claw.
Like an animal on the hunt he pounced on the villagers killing them one by one.
"HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHA"
Giving a cruel laugh he killed all the villagers sparing not even children.
The once happy village in a matter of minutes due to a single man was filled with dreadful silence.
It was covered in blood and with human flesh lying everywhere. More than a hundred people were killed and as for the culprit.
He is currently eating the hand he had when he came to the village. As he eats it his regeneration speed increases.
But as if sensing something he looks toward the direction where he came from and makes a panicked face. Quickly throwing away the half-eaten hand he runs toward the direction of the forest of Spirit.
"I will get you for this in the future," he mutters to himself.
As he leaves the village a figure of a clown is seen coming toward the village. That clown is, of course, Laplace.
As he enters the village, he sees the gruesome seen present in the village. Seeing that there is a look of pity, disgust, and anger in his eyes.
" He is too dangerous to be left alive. And from his behavior, he won't be able to mix in with our group.'
"I should kill him, Boss will understand."
After saying that he created a fireball from his hands and throws it toward the village burning all of it to cinders.
He looks toward the direction of the forest but doesn't sense Vega's magicule's. Seeing that he goes in the opposite direction.
It seems luck was on Vega's side today. Due to the forest's special property, it was able to hide Vega's magicule signature even from Laplace.
