Ch.20 Adventure(Edited)

In a hotel, you can see two people sitting while eating food. As it's in the morning there is silence in the city as most people are just starting to prepare for their day. These two people are also releasing in the calming silence while eating their food.

"Shizu san do you think I can find a good weapon for myself in Dwargon" asked Ryuu after finishing his food.

"Yes, you should be able to find a good sword there as I got mine also from there" replied Shizu while showing her double-edged blade.

"So, what is the grade of your weapon Shizu san."

"Yes, there is, and my sword is a Unique grade."

"Unique grades but I thought they were very rare to find."

"Yes, normally they are but one I had saved a blacksmith from Dwargon and to thank me he forged me this sword."

These types of weapons were rare until Rimuru started to hand them like vegetables in the market. I think the common populace only knows up to legendary class. The class system being.

· Normal Grade- As the name implies these types of weapons are normal without anything special to them. Mostly used by the general public

· Special Grade- It is the type of weapon that has magic imbued in it and is mostly used by adventurers.

· Rare Grade- These weapons are hard to find, and most high-ranking adventurers use this type of weapon.

· Unique Grade- These types of weapons are used as heirlooms by nobles' families and are so rare that only some champions have this and for the public, this can be considered as the best grade.

· Legend Grade- As stated in its name it is legendary by normal people's standards. For them only use by Heroes of the past and Demon Lords.

· Mythical Grade. It's just a Myth or that's what the general public thinks. These are the weapons imbued with divine or godly power. These weapons can only be used by a certain few and upon using it their body can be considered similar to that of a Spiritual being.

"I see I should also travel to Dwargon in the future as it will help me get a good sword."

"But do you really need one as your Wind sword can be considered one of the strongest rare-grade weapons?"

"Yes, a rare-grade weapon that you can cleanly slice in half"

"But that was due to my skill."

"And who to say that others can't have similar skills like yours."

"I guess you are right but please be careful when traveling to Dwargon as it is near the Great Jura Forest" she replied after thinking for a while. She had a worried tone in her voice. Seeing that I smiled and replied to her in a reinsuring tone.

"Don't worry Shizu San I will be careful and I can't die now as I have some things to do after all."

Hearing my reply, she calmed down a little. She didn't ask me what was the thing I had to do as it related to my private life.

"Then Shizu san let's begin our journey as it will take us two weeks to reach our destination" I replied while standing from the chair. Hearing me she also stood up and spoke.

"Yes, let's go as I also want to meet those children."

"I too want to meet those children as you have talked about them a lot" Especially Chloe or the hero Chronoa. I wonder how much my existence has changed the timeline of this world. Maybe I only exist in this timeline, or I could have been part of various timelines too. If so, then it will be fun to mess around with my past self if I get the chance.

"Yes, after all, they are such nice kids but were brought upon this world where they don't have anyone to look after them," she said with a motherly tone and there was a hint of sadness and worry in her tone. She still hasn't told me about the children's condition.

"You will be a great mother Shizu san," I said to her with full sincerity and also for the purpose of teasing her as it has been one of my favorite activities. I have even made thousands of ways to tease Sora and Yukino after returning back and facing them.

Hearing my reply her face became as red as a tomato and she quickly covered it with her mask.

"Thank you for that and please stop teasing me," she said in a low voice after finally calming down.

"But Shizu san teasing you is one of my favorite activities so sorry I can't fulfill this request of yours," I said while laughing. After getting my emotions my behavior has started to change drastically. But for some reason, I only show this behavior to Shizu san as when talking to other people I become quite serious and sometimes even create a fake façade.

"You" she replied to my comment.

To not face her wrath, I quickly ran away from there in JoJo style while saying "See you at the main gate Shizu san"

"Geez what can I do with you but be a mother huh" she said but there wasn't anyone to listen to her. Then she also made her way to the main gate of the city.

A week later

Outside a forest near a swamp, you can see two people one male and another female having a stare-down with a monster lizard. In this type of situation, you would expect those two to either run away or fight the lizard together as it was an A-rank monster.

But instead, the man came forward while the woman stayed in the back.

"Are you sure you can fight it alone as it is an A-rank monster Poison Lizard?" the woman said and the man named Ryuu replied.

"Don't worry Shizu san I was the one who took the quest so I should be the one who completes it" While saying that he had a smile on his face as he was excited for the coming battle.

"Ok but if I think that you are in danger I will interfere understood."

"Yes, and thank you for worrying about me" saying he looked at the lizard and created a wind sword in his hand. Covering it with extreme heat and his body in lightning he charged toward the lizard.

Sensing danger coming toward the lizard retaliated with a poison breath. Seeing the poison coming in his way he changed his direction.

Taking the chance, the lizard charged toward him and attacked with its claw trying to tear apart its opponent.

But to its dismay, the claw was blocked by his sword and not only that but the heat coming from that sword burned its claw.

It started to cry out in pain as it was the biggest injury it had suffered in its lifetime as if was the top of the food chain in this forest.

Taking the chance, he bombarded the lizard with hundreds of heat-infused wind bullets. All of them pierced the lizard's hard skin but were only able to make surface wounds and nothing deeper.

Suffering from all these injuries the lizard's instinct kicked in and it started to attack with greater ferocity. Covering its blade-like tail in lethal poison which is enough to kill any normal A-rank adventurer.

Faced with such an attack in which a single strike means defeat he increases his focus on dodging and parrying the attack.

But he didn't only have to worry about the lizard's tail as it also had claws and due to him giving less focus to it, he suffered the consequence and was hit with it.

Getting that attack he was sent flying into the trees. Normally he would have sensed such types of attack using his sensing ability or sage eyes, but he had turned them off to hone his battle instinct.

The lizard looked at its opponent to see if its attack killed it or not.

Standing from the pile of broken trees he dusted his clothes. There wasn't any visual injury in his body, but his upper clothes were torn.

"Ouch that one hurt," he said while dusting his clothes. His redirecting cloak failed to redirect all the force of the attack, so he was hit.

"Time to take this a little seriously," he said, and his blue eyes turned golden.

He charged toward the lizard and the lizard also charged toward him. This was the first time he battled someone in the same battle range as him.

After an hour of fighting, you can see him standing on the lizard's head while his wind sword is piercing through its brain.

There was some blood in his body but that blood wasn't his own but that of the lizards. The lizard's tail was also cut apart from its body.

Clap, Clap could be heard from the side, And the one who was clapping was none other than Shizu.

"You did good Ryuu, It was a wonderful fight," she said while smiling.

"Thank you for your compliment Shizu san," he said, and his eyes turned blue again.

"Let's store this lizard and as I have to take a bath too so let's go to the city."

"Ok then let's go."
