Ch.122 Returning Home(2)

Warning! Warning! read this before reading the chapter.

Listen here, most of you have already noticed that I am making Ryuu, well kind of irritating of a main character and there is a reason for it. Which will be shown in the future, well the first half the the next volume will mostly handle it. This is also one of the reasons his character picture hasn't been posted by me. So please have some patience.

"WOW, I DIDN'T THINK I WOULD MEET SOMEONE FROM MY WORLD SO SOON."

The Slime a.k.a Rimuru exclaimed in a voice as loud as ever. I could tell him that his voice is too loud but where is the fun in that.

"I see, you seem to be an otherworlder, but you know you shouldn't divulge such information so easily. Especially to someone you just met."

I warn him in a stern tone, after all his current behavior can be said to be quite naive. Since he will not meet Shizu this time I should help him a little.

After all, for the future battle to come, Tempest will be a very needed help.

"WHY??"

He asks as he tilts his round slimy body, and a question mark appears above his body.

"Well because I am someone you just met and I could have been a danger to you."

I give him the reason, a reason I don't think he will understand.

"BUT WHY WILL YOU BE A DANGER TO ME, AFTER ALL YOU ARE HUMAN."

He asks genuinely confused about my words, although this innocence is somewhat cute but will be life-threatening in this world.

"Were you a child or something, before reincarnating."

I ask him as I give him a genuine look of question.

"HEY, I WILL HAVE YOU KNOW I WAS OVER 30."

He shouts so loud that the ground shakes for a while.

"Ok, then you must know how that world is. A world, although governed by law will always prioritize the rich. As hard of a pill it may be to swallow."

I give him the answer he can understand, after all living for more than 30 years there is no way he hasn't seen such a thing. Especially in a place like Japan.

"BUT-T"

He tries to argue but, he doesn't have anything to say.

"So you should be even more careful here, after all, most Humans are the biggest monsters."

I give him the advice, advice that will be the foundation for his survival in this world. Well if he follows it. 

After all even in the original work, among the many Timelines Chloe traveled Rimuru only lived to a certain point in time, and most of the time the world was also destroyed.

Only the main timeline is the one where Rimuru survived and the world wasn't destroyed.

"I SEE."

He gives me the reply I want to hear, I guess he is someone with enough wisdom to understand this much.

"Anyway, with that done, why don't we introduce each other? My name is Kusugano Ryuu."

I say with a smile as I look at him, hearing my words he brightens up as he says.

"YES, MY NAME IS RIMURU TEMPEST. IT'S NICE TO MEET YOU."

He said as he bounced on the ground.

"Rimuru, hmm which county where you from then? The name doesn't seem Japanese."

I ask him, and even though I know the answer it doesn't hurt anyone if I tease him a little.

"I AM JAPANESE,"

He says as he looks at me, well I think he is looking at me.

"Then the name??"

"I GOT IT HERE."

He says as he starts to narrate to me the story of how he got his name, Sigh.. what do I do with him?

"Didn't I tell you not to give such information?"

I ask him sternly, like a teacher who has just seen his student do something he had asked him not to do.

"HEHE, SORRY"

He says as he gives me an embarrassed smile, I think he is giving me.

"Ok, I guess I have a gift for you."

I say as I kneel on the ground and touch his slime body, he looks at me with confusion. With my hands that touched his body, my energy flowed through him.

[{ Notice third-party interference detected.}]

His skill great sage rings out as we both hear its voice.

[True Sage would like to have an Audience with Great Sage.]

True Sage's voice is also heard, as Rimuru becomes even more confused after hearing another voice.

[{Calculation.... Processing request... Request accepted.}]

"WHAT WAS THAT?"

Rimuru asked totally confused about what just happened, I just shrugged my shoulders and said.

"Don't worry and let them talk... let's just say I am giving you a helping hand as a fellow otherworlder."

"OH, THANK YOU THEN."

...

After a while of talking Ryuu looks at Rimuru and tells him about his imminent leave.

"CAN'T WE TRAVEL TOGETHER?"

Rimuru asks as Ryuu looks at him, normally it would have been a valid question. Normally that is..

"Well, the place I am going is not somewhere you can go currently."

Ryuu gives him a simple reason and he nods his slime body.

"Oh, OK"

He just says, without asking further.

"WILL WE MEET AGAIN?"

He asks Ryuu after a while to which Ryuu replies.

"Of course, after all, you can be a great friend."

"REALLY, THEN WE ARE FRIENDS."

Rimuru asks in a thrilled voice, well perhaps happy to have made his first friend after reincarnation as a monster.

"I guess so."

Ryuu replied, after all, Ryuu would also like to be friends with him, he is one of Ryuu's favorite characters after all.

"Goodbye then."

After saying that Ryuu just disappeared as a surprised look started to appear on his slimy body.

Looking around for a while he just shrugged his slime body and moved forward.

"So, can you stop the time of this world?"

Ryuu asks as he looks at his so-called system.

{No}

A simple reply, that Ryuu had also accepted.

"Then change the time ratio as much as you can."

After saying that Ryuu got ready to teleport back home, for that he didn't need the system as the system had given him knowledge of how to do it.

"Bye, this world."

'<Bye for now>'

After saying that a white light covered Ryuu as he disappeared.

The golden pannel still floating around, crossed the boundary of the world in an instant.

Appearing above the cardinal world and the other world it got ready to do its work.

Suddenly a figure appeared behind him, the figure radiating unimaginable power.

"How are you doing?"

The figure's manly voice asked as he looked at the golden panel.

{I am not him.}

The panel simply replied.

"I know, still wanted to say that. haha."

The figure said as he gave a sudden laugh.

"Ryuu seems different."

The figure inquired.

{Yes, because he is also not completely him.}

"Hmm, why?"

{Can't you use your omnipotence to find out}

"Well, I can't. After all that version of his stops me from doing that."

{Oh, yes.. I do have some information about that.. Though since it surpasses me I also don't have much knowledge about it.}

"I see, well Let me help you change the time ratio."

The figure said as he put his hands forward, the space-time of the entire multiverse manifested in front of him, and with a single motion it changed.

The stronger existence felt like something had changed but most couldn't put a finger to it, well except the two True Dragons.

{Hmm. well then My job is done then.}

"I guess so."
