19 Chapter 9.5: The Favonius Cathedral

-The World Of Teyvat, Teyvat Continent, Mondstadt region, City of Mondstadt, Favonius Cathedral-

Inside the Favonius Cathedral, as one would expect from a church, inside there were various wooden benches, and the windows had depictions of characters in colored glass, adding to the atmosphere. There were a few people in there praying or talking, but it didn't seem like there was going to be a sermon or anything like that.

Venus and Sarah walked from the entrance to the other side, where a sister nun, could be found wearing their black robes, so Venus approached her followed by Sarah.

"Can I help? Have you come to confess, my child?" She asked as Venus got close to her.

"No, it's nothing like that, I actually wanted to ask about God Barbatos and the Visions." Venus explained.

"... I'm sorry, but who are you? I don't think I've seen you here before." The lady questioned.

"Uhh... I'm Venus Ambrosio, and this is Sarah Ambrosio." Venus introduced them both.

"Oh! I'm Victoria from the church. I apologize for not having recognized young lord Ambrosio, but your family does have a reputation for not coming out too often..." Victoria gave a small bow as she apologized.

"Don't worry, it's understandable, and I don't mind." Venus didn't care for that, so long as he got what came here for, it would be a victory for him.

"I just don't get why I'm being suspected of anything, I understand Venus, since he's a shady guy, but I'm so cute... It doesn't make sense." Sarah began puffing her chest out as she announced.

This made Venus roll his eyes at her antics, while Victoria giggled at her words.

"So, what exactly do you wish to know about the Anemo Archon? And you also mentioned the Visions, right?" Victoria got back to the main topic.

"Yes, actually I wanted to know where I could find God Barbatos and if it was possible to know the requirements to be given a Vision." Venus expressed.

"About that... I don't why you would ask something like that, but God Barbatos has gone to sleep a long time ago, and not come back to Mondstadt since, though I will tell you if I heard any news. As for the Visions... I don't know much about them, but I'm pretty sure only God Barbatos himself knows the requirements he has. You could always ask Grand Master Jean or the alchemist girl, since they both have Anemo Visions... What was her name again?... I can't remember, but if you want to talk to her, just go to the local alchemist Timaeus, I heard she goes to his shop at times." Victoria looked at Venus almost as if he was making fun of her for asking about God Barbatos but soon got to a more amicable expression while talking about the Visions.

"Ohhh... Thanks! It's very helpful." Venus half cursed himself for not bothering to at least read a history book to make sure Barbatos was around. The knowledge the system gave him was just a world level of general, so he doesn't know the specifics of any one region.

Just to the side Sarah was catching secondhand embarrassment but decided to say nothing as it would probably only make it worst if she did.

"Also, before we leave, do you know where we can find Lady Jean?" Venus inquired.

"Hum... She should be in her office at the Knights of Favonius HQ." Victoria answered.

"Ah, ok. I won't take any more of your time." Venus and Sarah left after getting the information they needed but as they were making their way out.

A young lady who has a rather small build with ash blonde hair tied in pigtails, and blue eyes was coming in. She was wearing a white frock that is open at the shoulders and a large white and blue bow in the front along with white tights, white ankle boots, and a blue and white cap.

Quite a bit further behind there was a young man with blond hair observing her from a distance, which Venus noticed, but what really got his attention was the young lady herself, as he began to wonder if Mondstadt had more beauties around, and if it was just this City or if he just landed in a great world.

As she was to bypass them, the young Lady looked at them and greeted them while waving her hand with a lovely smile on her face. "Hi! I hope you are having a wonderful day!~"

"As long as you have an even better one, we have a deal." Venus responded to her, before winking at her.

"Hehehe. Consider it done! Bye." The girl giggled at his antics before going into the church.

"At this point, I don't know what to tell you. Let's just go... Actually which one do you want to visit? The knight or the alchemist?" Sarah rolled her eyes before asking.

"I would say the knight, since we at least know where she is, with the other one we will have to talk to another person just to know who she is." Venus replied.

Having decided that, Venus and Sarah both went to the Knights of Favonius HQ, where once the young lady with lavender hair could be seen, this time carrying various humans sized bags on her own.

"She's a hard worker..." Venus commented not knowing what else to say.

"Yeah, and a strong one..." Sarah wasn't even jealous, just impressed.

They went inside and after talking to one of the people there, were made to wait for about 10-20 minutes, before they could actually meet Grand Master Jean.

Once they were inside her office, they were met with a room full of bookshelves, and sitting behind her desk, Jean herself. She has a tall, athletic build, and fair skin. Her grey-blue eyes and medium-length gold-blonde hair tied back into a ponytail with a black bow. On her ears, she wears a pair of gold cross earrings.

When it came to clothing she was wearing a white, blue, black, and red strapless shirt with a long blue tailcoat attached to it, a pair of separate white sleeves, a short blue and gold cloak attached to a white separate collar. Her white tights are embroidered with a gold diamond-dot pattern, and pair of white high-heeled knee-high boots. All that together with a pair of gantlets.

"I must welcome you, Lord and Lady Ambrosio, I'm the Acting Grand Master of the Knights of Favonius and I wonder, what brought you here today? Imagine you have important matters to discuss." Jean asked as she continued to write on the multiple papers she had on her desk, adding them to an organized pile once she was done with it.

"Hum, yes. Actually, I wanted to ask you about Visions." Venus was direct and even though today this was the third time he met a beauty, he wasn't going to let that interfere with why he came here, plus this woman gave off the vibes that would be hard to approach her on a personal level while she was working.

"Both of you please take a seat. What exactly would you like to know about Visions? Though be warned that I myself don't know too much more than the basics about them, someone like alchemist headmaster Albedo or his assistant Sucrose would be better qualified to educate you on the matter, but I'll answer whatever I can." Jean expressed.

"Really?.. I'll keep that in mind. Even so, I'm curious, may I know how you acquired that Vision?" Venus questioned as it might help him figure out how to obtain one himself.
