14 That Cool Title Of Yours~

"Hail Hydra!" Arthur's lips curled up as he cocked the gun and moved toward the desk and chair barricade—

"Hey, wait!" Rei called him out.

He slightly turned his head toward her without turning his whole body, glowering at her with one eye. "What?"

'She ruined my moment...' Arthur grumbled internally.

For some reason, even if it wasn't for his plans... He didn't like her!

Perhaps the fact that in the original timeline she switched back to Takashi as soon as Hisashi died, annoyed him... was it that he didn't like how she manipulated Takashi to be always nice and sweet to her, or was it the fact that he didn't like her face.

It eluded hi—

'Nah, it's all of the above.'

But it's not like he'd actively bully her.... perhaps he would, who knows.

Rei ignored his attitude and spoke, "I still have some questions... and I have a call to make."

"Ask the questions while we walk and hurry up the call." Arthur turned to the terrace grill eyeing the view of the burning city, he didn't want to waste more time here, he had to match the timings with other casts, even arrive earlier.

He had read the manga so he knew approximate timings, and arriving 'there' about half an hour early could mean saving a Main Character candidate.

It would be good to have capable male members in the small group he was going to form, all for the sake of the Optional Objective. He had theorised that the world will never choose a female as Main Character even though it already has much better and more capable female casts than the current Main Character, Takashi Komuro.

After Rei called her father's special number from Takashi's phone, which was cut off due to some issues in the middle without her father even knowing that it was Rei on this side, Arthur stopped watching the city going to hell and turned at them.

"Takashi and Rei, this is my only request, tread as silently as possible... No making loud sounds, got it?" He said as he kicked the desk with as much force as he could, which was a lot actually.

The small hoard of undeads who were pushing the desk and chairs to get to them, flew away due to the massive force behind the kick, their rotten flesh splattered after crashing on the rough concrete floor of the terrace.

He smiled at his physical prowess, it was as surprising for him as for the two audiences behind him. This could be called his first time moving around with his enhanced body, in the black void he could only float about, there was no way to train his body, but as Barnes had told him, in the black void, even without training, his body's state would remain static.

'And a few months ago I couldn't even walk on my own!' He scoffed.

"So much for not making loud sounds, and if you want to use our first names then at least have the tact to use honorifics." Rei retorted as she picked up the rod with a pointed end, her makeshift spear.

"Hey!~" He whined sarcastically, "That was necessary, do you think the hoard behind the desks would've waited till you gently put the chairs and desks back in their places?"

"Y-Yeah, Rei, he's right... but still, Arthur-san you did attract them by this move of yours." Takashi said as picked up his baseball bat.

*Gueweh* *Gueweh*

The dry and coarse groans of the rotten bodies intensified.

"Well, they won't be able to come close, now that I am here. And you don't have to add honorifics after my name too," He blasted the gun at an undead far from where they stood.

Only the shrieking sound of a laser, the same color as that of Arthur's irises, cutting through the air was heard before the undead was blasted by it, the undead vapourised into thin air leaving only burning blue ash behind, which, in an instant turned cold and grey as it fell on the ground.

Takashi and Rei wondered why he didn't shoot the undeads closer to them but the one at the very opposite end from where they were standing... before they saw what happened next.

Since the sound of the gun and the heat produced by it was insignificant compared to the small blast that vaporized the undead, the hoard moved toward the spot where the vanished undead stood. Effectively clearing their path...

*Gueweh* *Bbueweh*

The undeads were moving away from them, Rei smiled, 'Maybe this guy really is some kind of savior of this world...' But she still doesn't like his rude and uncaring behavior towards her.

Takashi's thoughts weren't much different but he didn't mind the guy's behavior, this guy had power, and they could survive if they stay with him was all he knew. Besides he was still not a complete dick toward them. He seemed reliable.

"So, where are we going, Arthur-s...? Everywhere is a mess." Takashi frowned as he kept his peeled on any undead approaching them.

"We're going to meet the other casts, of course. Hey, do you know where to find the nurse's office?"

Takashi nodded.

They all moved downstairs, while Arthur occasionally fired his gun, clearing the path. He even answered a few questions Rei and Takashi asked along the way.

"Nurse's office is this way, Arthur," Takashi said in a low voice as he rounded a corner.

Yes, the Main Character candidate Arthur was going to need was the guy who gave up his life to save the occasional 4th wall breaker and the airhead school's nurse. Kazu Ishi was his name...

They arrived at the door labeled as Nurse's Office, Arthur could read and understand Japanese as well as literally all the languages in the omniverse, that's how he could communicate with Rei and Takashi.

A perk of being an Omniversal Mercenary, he understood all languages in the omniverse.

He knocked on the door, it was locked. "Open up, we ain't undeads!"

"Huh? Who is it?" A nervous male's voice sounded out from behind the door before a black-haired boy wearing grey elliptical glasses opened the door.

'Looks like I've come here on time, but it should be starting soon.' Arthur thought he thought as he eyed the body laying on one of the beds.

A blonde-haired woman with a slim waist and huge breasts donning a long white coat with a shirt of the same color and a black pencil skirt was frantically moving about as she switched from one piece of equipment to another while muttering to herself. Occasionally switching her finger from her chin to cheeks as she muttered and wondered.

A dead student who was lying in the bed was 'rising'.

This undead was Kazu's friend who got bitten a few minutes ago, he brought him here to get patched up in the nurse's office, where the nurse, Shizuka, declared him as dead.

"Oh, SHIT!! Okada, DAMMIT!!" Kazu panicked as he tried to go back to the undead formerly called Okada, to kill 'him', he knew that his friend couldn't be saved anymore. That's why he resolved himself to put an end to his friend's miserable state.

But a hand on his shoulder stopped him in his spot.

"Don't worry, I'll take care of it..." Arthur said before blasting the undead with his gun.

It will attract the surrounding undeads, sure, but he wanted to lure a sadist samurai.

"Waoh! Holy shit! What was that!!!" Kazu's eyes widened as he looked at the black-haired boy and his gun.

"Kazu Ishi, it's nice to meet you, I'm Arthur, an Omniversal Mercenary." Arthur offered his hand for a handshake.

"What's an Omniver- Uh- umm, y-yeah, a nice to meet you too... Arthur-san!" Kazu nervously replied, pushing his curiosity to the back of his mind to ask later. The power of gun was enough for him to realize that this blue-eyed boy wasn't just a weeb with a chunni syndrome. Whoever this guy was, he was mysterious.

"Eep~" The nurse, Shizuka, shrieked a bit after a few seconds finally registering what happened. As slow as ever. Arthur shrugged and took a seat.

"Uhm, how do you know my name?" Kazu still asked, who'd know his name, he was, after all, wasn't someone popular that these first years standing behind Arthur would know him.

"I know the names of all the important persons of this world," Arthur replied as the gun in his hands disappeared into thin air and he stretched a little.

Kazu and Shizuka's jaws dropped at that. Takashi and Rei just gave wry smiles thinking they weren't the only ones who got surprised by that.

Rei and Takashi also introduced themselves to Kazu. They already knew Shizuka so, they didn't have to introduce themselves to her.

Shizuka pouted, why doesn't no one introduces themselves to her? She didn't like getting left behind, so she stomped towards Arthur and grabbed his hands with a frown.

"We haven't introduce each other, right, Arthur-San? I'm Shizuka Marikawa, the school's nurse!"

"I know you, I already said I know every important person in this world." He replied impassively.

"Ara~ I'm an important person to you! Mou~ Arthur-San, you're such a flirt!" She beamed while still holding his hand.

He smiled a bit, "Anyway, seems like you really want a proper introduction? In that case, I'm Arthur, nice to meet you Shizuka Marikawa."

"Hoh~ you didn't say that cool sounding title of yours... what was that again Omney- Omnieee-"

"It's Omniversal Mercenary." He corrected her as he pulled his palm away from her grab and then leaned his head on the wall again.

'And it's not cool, it's cringe...' He sighed.

He didn't mind her attitude, it was just how she was...

He also had to give his all to ignore the {Fucking Do her already!!!} {Bone this blonde clutz!!!!!} {Fuck her brains out!!!!!! }noises in his head.

'That Pervert Penguin!'

*Craaash!!!* *Gueaghhhaeewhhhh* *geuwh*

A small group of undead's growl was heard as they broke the glass window and pushed open the locked door.
