Strange Transformation Part 1

Ethan woke up from his short sleep, after opening the strange door from earlier. It had been thirty minutes, and his back had become extremely itchy. Reaching for his back to scratch away the itch however, a pair of moderately large wings with golden feathers blocked his path. Not only did he have wings, his hair seemed to be longer than before going down to about his waist.

The changes to his body shook him a little, but not much as he remembered the message from the Omnitrix and how the dial glowed a gold color from the DNA it scanned, instead of the usual yellow. Which meant his transformation wouldn't be complete for a little while longer at least, and the Omnitrix was nowhere to be seen on his body. Quickly deciding nothing can be done but, waiting for the transformation to be complete, he got up and started making his way to the pond. So that he could check to what extent his body had changed, and if he could use any ability at its current stage.

Ethan's back held a moderately large pair of wings covered in golden feathers, his hair reaching down to his waist had moderately long streaks of Gold throughout it. Ethan had grown about two or three inches, reaching a towering "Six feet, three inches". (AN: Ethan's original had, which I forgot to list is Six Foot.) Not only his appearance changed his clothes have started to change as well, becoming a weird blue half-robe that only hanged from his left side and didn't cover the right of his chest, that had metal here and there. (AN: I am saving the image for the full transformation.)

'Well this is completely different from what I had in mind for my day in general, but what can ya do. I guess I could go eat and watch Zorro practice, while I figure out if I have any abilities at the current moment. That and I just realized, when the fuck did this book get here?'. Ethan took the book out of its side pouch and slowly opened it, coming to a page that was in an entirely different language. Only a few letters he could understand, however the longer he stared the more letters that became legible. This in particular would take a while, but had the chance to give him great insight to what that room in the cave's depth actually was. Having looked enough he closed the book and put it back inside the pouch, before heading back to his home.

Inside Ethan walked over to his make shift bead, just before speaking to Zorro. "Zorro listen up. We have to step up our game, as there were creatures in that cave that could kick my ass. Which forced me to flee deeper in to the cave. To remedy this problem we are going to train until we can't anymore." This made Zorro nod his head in understanding, just before leaving to head outside to practice magic. Since Zorro had been trying to practice his magic he had a little more understanding of how magic energy itself worked. Now he made little progress, but this was due to the lack of understanding of how to apply the magic energy in a way it would activate the magic that was dormant.

Zorro had just reached the clearing and started to release magic at different levels around him, not really achieving an effect. To which Ethan suggested flowing magic into or around a particular limb, which in retrospect was a fairly good idea. Zorro did just as instructed, and the magic converged at one point before he released it towards a nearby rock. The rock had started to from purple and white cracks, and a small area around it turned purple. Just before it exploded into multiple pieces, that traveled into multiple directions.

This meant a few things for Zorro. One was that his magic was poisonous and had a tendency to explode the target after some time. Two being Zorro had figured out how to channel his magic, for it to work properly. What Ethan had not expected was that when Zorro casted the spell he looked visibly tired afterwards, and went inside to sleep. Leaving Ethan outside to ponder the things he experienced today and how it all correlated, as the now loomed over him.

AN: Thank you for reading today's particularly small chapter. I hope you enjoyed it, and look forward to the next one that is longer than this one by a little bit. Have a Great Day!
