43 CHAPTER 43

"Officer Chyre, I'm heading to save Central City now. If I succeed, remember to build a statue of me."

Yuri joked with Chyre, then suddenly he leaped up from the ground and flew towards the Flash Museum, leaving behind a long trail of flames.

Chyre watched the flaming being disappear into the distance and fell into contemplation, deeply concerned about the current situation in Twin Cities.

Keystone City Police Department had already fallen, and the Central City Police Department and the FBI branch were probably not faring well either.

"The Flash and that flame creature are fighting against the enemy's main forces, but there are only two of them. I need to find a way to rescue the other police officers..."

Just as Chyre was about to leave, he suddenly felt the soil under his feet loosen.

At this moment, there was a grave by Chyre's foot...

"What the hell?"

Chayel instantly drew his gun, nervously aiming it at the ground.

"Take me... out!"

A familiar voice came from underground.

Chayel's eyes widened in disbelief, unable to trust his own ears.

*Poof!*

A hand broke through the soil, grabbing onto the tombstone in front...

—-—

Meanwhile, at the Flash Museum...

The entire street was riddled with holes, several buildings collapsed, forming ruins.

Wally was in agonizing pain, half-kneeling on the ground. The burning sensation in his lungs and the intense feeling of suffocation tormented him.

'Am I going to die?'

Wally silently asked in his mind. He was now disoriented, weak in all limbs, unable to even move a finger.

The New Rogues, formed by the Blacksmith, surrounded Wally.

Magenta, Girder, Murmur, Weather Wizard, Mirror Master, Trickster, and Blacksmith.

Weather Wizard looked at Wally with a complicated expression, not a hint of joy could be seen on his face.

Magenta approached Wally, lifting his chin and revealing a sickly smile. "Oh, Wally, even when you're suffocating, you're still so charming. I can't help but want to have some fun with you."

"Hey! I know the Flash is your ex-boyfriend, but weren't you planning to tear him in half?" Girder complained.

"Alright, guys, the Flash is done for. Now there's no one to stop us from seizing the city's wealth!" Blacksmith clapped her hands. "Where's Plunder? Is he done with his personal business? Someone contact him."

*Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh—*

At that moment, seven fireballs descended from the sky, flying towards each member of the New Rogues.

Magenta reacted swiftly, using her magnetic powers to summon a pile of metal, creating a barrier to protect everyone inside.

"You're talking about the invader from the other world? I'm afraid he doesn't have the time to join your party."

Yuri flew over from the sky, continuously gathering fireballs in his hands and indiscriminately throwing them down as if they cost nothing.

Under the continuous assault from Heatblast, the metal barrier began to melt.

"Scatter!"

Blacksmith immediately gave the order, and Magenta released the nearly melted barrier. The members of the New Rogues scattered in different directions, using their own means to counter the attacks of the fireballs.

Immediately after, Yuri descended rapidly, flying almost skimming the ground.

As he passed by the Flash, he instantly reached out his hand and pulled him away, landing in a slightly more secure location.

"This symptom... Is it the Mad Virus?"

Yuri quickly identified the reason for Wally's life-threatening condition and immediately pulled out a syringe and injected it into Wally's arm.

After witnessing the power of the Mad Virus in Iron Heights Prison, Yuri often carried several doses of the antidote with him. Just in case, if one day he got infected, there wouldn't be enough time to create an antidote due to the rapid effect of the virus.

Wally's cellular activity, linked to the Speed Force, far surpassed that of a normal human. As soon as the needle was injected, Wally returned to normal.

"...Who?"

Wally took a deep breath, savoring the sweet air like never before, then looked at Yuri and asked.

"...Call me Heatblast."

Yuri crossed his arms and said.

*Boom!*

A bolt of lightning suddenly struck down towards the two of them.

"Flash, is this your new friend? Aren't you going to introduce him to your old friend?" Weather Wizard floated in the air, looking down on Wally and Yuri from above.

Unlike his complex expression from earlier, he was now ecstatic, filled with a battle frenzy.

Heatblast didn't have the same reaction speed as the Flash to dodge the lightning, but for Wally, who had regained his health, it was not worth mentioning.

Wally immediately enveloped both Yuri and himself in a Speed Force aura and instantly moved tens of meters to the side, easily evading the lightning summoned by the Weather Wizard.

"I'm going to crush you!"

Girder appeared behind the two of them at an unknown time, and his fists came crashing down heavily.

Such a slow and cumbersome attack was too slow for Heatblast, and Yuri simply flew up into the air, evading the assault.

Not to mention Wally.

After joining the New Rogues, Girder and Magenta have always been a dynamic duo, with their abilities complementing each other exceptionally well.

"Now that Girder is here, that means..."

Wally looked around, trying to locate Magenta.

"Where are you looking, Wally?"

Suddenly, Magenta's voice rang out from behind Wally.

Wally turned around and saw a car being forcefully pulled by magnetism, charging towards him.

—-—

"I know you're the guy from Iron Mountain. Change into that four-armed bastard already!"

Girder stared fiercely at Yuri, roaring with anger.

"Hah! I've already beaten you twice, and you still haven't learned your lesson. This time, I'll show you what humiliation really means."

Yuri didn't understand where Girder's confidence was coming from. He actually wanted to spar with the Four-Arms.

In an instant, Yuri's feet emitted massive flames, and he flew downward at near-supersonic speed, spinning rapidly around Girder.

As Yuri's speed increased, a gigantic fire tornado suddenly formed, and the temperature inside it rapidly soared.

Under such intense heat, Girder's body quickly turned bright red from the burns.

It was a sensation far more painful than bodily oxidation, and the magnetism was ineffective.

"Ah! You coward! If you have the guts, face me head-on!"

Girder attempted to break free from the fire tornado, but as soon as his body touched the wall of flames, it began to show signs of melting.

"I can't let you burn him to death like this!"

At that moment, the Weather Wizard suddenly appeared above the fire tornado, raising his Weather Wand high, with tears streaming down his eyes.

Boom!

Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!

After a thunderous roar, a torrential downpour, comparable to a major storm, poured down, covering an area of hundreds of meters.

Rainwater flowed down the Weather Wizard's face, and no one noticed his previous tears.
