Omnipotent Destroyer

"I work my ass off for the sake of you all fuckers! And what do I get in return? A fuckin' betrayal?! Fine, I am sick of playing the good guy. You all fuckers don't want me as a good guy? Then I will become worse than the devil!" These were the last words of Sou- a normal, kind like an angel, guy who had everything, literally everything, but always stayed low- before breathing his last breath, alone and blood-drenched, betrayed by his loved one and even his parents. What did he do to be stabbed to death by his parents and his girlfriend? Nothing. Catching the wind of his parents' illegal works such as human trafficking, drug dealing and others was enough for his parents to turn on him. To top that off, his girlfriend also chimed in greed and gave him a stab or two as a farewell. I should have stayed silent, I shouldn't have been about that, I should have just let things go with the flow. Regret filled him as his vision became blurrier and his conscious began to die. Why? Why? Just why did he have to face such a betrayal? Just because he supported justice a little too strongly? Or was it because of his kindness that had to take several envied glances? "Fuck..." The light of his eyes went out. あ His eyelids fell. His body went cold. His heartbeat stopped. He died. . . . Calm After The Storm

Elements, existences that dwell in every world and dimension, even in the Leven (outer space) known as the Space element. If I were to trace their history, then they go wa~y back to the birth of all. I created, and then everything was destroyed. I again created, and, yet again, everything was destroyed. I was missing something. I created everything that I knew as the fundamentals of the world I lived in, but the fundamentals were not enough to stabilize my creation. Then, the bulb in my mind went off. The idea of elements crossed my mind. A power that controlled the reins of the fundamentals, that is what elements are, namely Fire, Water, Earth, Wind. The world was stabilized and slowly, creatures belonging to different races began to live and establish their domains. Not long after, the planet was named Melim, and the outer space was named Leven. Everything was peaceful… until the elements began to rage. They held the reins too tightly that the balance was turned upside down.

I couldn't just watch my world in a sea of flames, drowning in water, blown away by winds, and swallowed by the earth. That's when I gave the races to harness the power of the elements and control them so that they won't rampage anymore, and, surprisingly enough, it worked.

The humans, the dwarves, the elves, the Dragons- all of them embraced the new power granted to them with smiling and relieved faces on the thought that they can now repel the disaster. And, as it should be, the Dragons were the first ones to confidently say that they were the ones to fully harness the power of elements (though 'fully' is an exaggeration) and created branches from Fire and Water elements- Lightning and Ice. Eleves were next to establish their names as 'beings one with nature' by saying that they controlled wind. Dwarves followed suit and became eminent in Earth element. And finally, humans. They were the ones to control all four of the elements, along with the branches of Fire and Water. Together, they survived the disaster.

But in this long history of elements, not one being was recorded to have compatibility with more than one element… until now.

Tring!

{Mastery of 'Fire' element complete}

{Compatability with 'Water' element has been granted}

The resonance of the three elements gave birth to a scene that was never witnessed in the history of Melim. Lightning and Wind and Fire swirled around each other, entwined their powers, and formed a translucent layer on the clanging katana.

'How is this possible? No one should be able to harness two elements at the same time, yet this kid was able to wield four elements?!' Kolos could not believe what he was seeing. Naturally, it was a matter of pride when it came to elements since they were the first ones to understand what elements truly were.

His head fumed with rage at the scene. He was genuinely angry at his hurt pride.

Now, what would one do to hide the fact that someone is above them? The most simple and efficient answer every race would choose would be, of course, killing the 'someone'. And Kolos was the same.

'He is too dangerous to be kept alive.' The astonishingly beautiful resonance of the elements no longer managed to keep his attention. All he wanted was Sou's death now.

No matter how fast Sou's katana moved, Kolos' body always survived, heck, he was unscathed now.

The blade moved through him like a mirage and Sou received hundreds of blows from Kolos.

Bam! Bam! Bam! Bam! Bam!

Boom!

Sou was thrown far away by the extraordinary strength of the Dragon.

"Urk!" Sou hit the ground multiple before coming to a stop. His body was now covered with scars and cuts.

"Blegh!" A handful amount bled out of his mouth as he tried to get up.

"Fuck!"

He tumbled to stand on his feet and fell again, and of course, Kolos wasn't going to let an opponent as dangerous Sou recover.

Fwoosh!

Kolos shot towards Sou at a terrifying speed. It was obvious that he was holding back until now. His speed rivaled Sou's. Sou was probably faster after getting another elemental affinity, but at the moment, where Sou was barely breathing and struggling to move, calling him fast now is something even a kid would laugh his ass off.

"Die."

Kolos' (Drago) handsome and well-toned body was parallel to Sou's lying limp body and his mouth was near Sou's ear in just a moment and the words fell heavily on them.

"!!!"

Sou tried to move arms but they were not moving.

(Move! Move! Move!)

… but they refused.

Kolos' claws, now reinforced Lightning which was Drago's element, came diving towards Sou's heart. Was it going to end like this? Was he going to die again, in the same pathetic way he showed to his summons? But what could he do? There was nothing left for him to do other than dying. He was stranded in an unknown place with no one. Even if he called his summons, they won't be able to save him in time. In simple words, he was fucked up.

Acceptance was the only thing he could do, accept his death.

"..."

… but I don't think that hard-ass of a guy will accept such kind of fate that easily.

(I won't die!)

Tring!

{The system will help the user survive just this once}

{Does the user want the system to help him?}

{Y/N}

Hoh… really? This was unexpected.

The claw was just inches away from Sou's heart. Perhaps he knew that if he didn't grab the offered hand, then he would be wasted (that's a given, you idiot!).

(As much as I hate to admit…)

"Yes," Sou muttered under his breath.

Click!

A single sound of something clicking resounded and silence descended. Only his sound of breathing entered Sou's ears.

Everything stopped in Sou's eye except him. He rolled his eyes towards Kolos. His claw stood still just before it fug into his heart.

Then, his eyes went over to the messages floating in front of his eyes.

{Time will be stopped for 3 minutes}

{The user can still access the store}

{5 healing elixirs can be bought for free}

{Anymore than that and the user will be charged}

"Haa…" Sou let out a dry sigh. It was tiring for him. Sou gathered his thoughts together.

He was returning home, then out of nowhere, two melon-boobs ambushed him and he ended up here. It was not too much at the beginning, in fact, he was having fun killing the monster and gaining Experience Points. But something happened to Drago and now the situation turned out like this.

If not for the system, he would have really died, and he knew that he was not going to come back to life like last time. Curse the rules, not me.

Sou slid from his position. He was still struggling to move.

"Store."

The store opened up and Sou tapped on the elixir tab.

Hundreds of healing elixirs listed themselves in front of Sou's eyes along with other various types of elixirs.

Sou didn't waste any time and tapped on the five healing elixirs without hesitation.

Tzzz-

The potions appeared from the dimensional crack and fell on his hands.

Chug chug chug chug.

Sou gulped down the potions and threw them aside.

"I have never felt this good…"

His body was still paining, but he was relieved that the pain was receding slowly. By the time 3 minutes were up, he could at least put up a fight.

Tring!

{3 minutes are complete}

{Time will move again}

A huge clock appeared in front of his eyes.

Click!

The hand of the clock moved and everything slowly started to move.

Sou picked up his katana and stood firmly. Destructive mana leaked out and filled the surrounding.

"Come on, you son of a bitch!"

This time, he would settle it.
