1 Omnipotent Author and Omniscient Reader's Normal Life

I woke up, cooked my instant noodle, and placed it on my desk.

I opened my computer and clicked on the online writing platform that I had used for 4 years.

I double-checked if the mouse and keyboard were working.

After I confirmed it, I placed my hand on the keyboard and positioned my fingers.

I took a deep breath and then the magic began.

My fingers rapidly tapped on the keyboard, dancing in perfect synchronization.

The sound of the tapping keyboards was like an orchestrated masterpiece that was in complete rhythm.

I occasionally took a sip of the broth of the instant cup noodles, slurped, and gobbled down the hot noodles.

It was my normal life as a best-selling author.

I was currently writing a chapter for my novel. It was the daily life of an author who had 100 currently ongoing novels.

With at least 100 words per minute, it wasn't an arduous task for me to update 100 novel chapters per day.

I am the so-called prodigious author who was able to maintain a stable update in 100 novels.

As a prodigious author, I had not faced any problems when writing my novel chapters and had not experienced writer's block.

My eighth grader syndrome was the cause of my wild imagination and I had been a shut-in for the rest of my life.

I had rarely gone out of my house and only went out if I needed to buy imperishable food such as instant noodles and canned foods.

As a best-selling author, I did not lack any financial funds and even though I only bought simple foods, I'm able to buy luxurious foods if I wanted to since I had billions of dollars in my bank account.

I was a NEET after both of my parents had passed away and I had only finished my first grade.

I was smart enough to defeat a teacher in a contest so I did not bother in continuing my schooling.

After all, the purpose of studying was to apply for a job and earn millions and since I had already earned billions, it was pointless to go to school.

As I was at the brink of finishing the first chapter of one of my 100 novels, a new message popped out from my desktop screen.

The username which was CutieBrei15 was present in the message notification and I opened it without any hesitation and had given it with my utmost priority to read it as long as I'm online.

Why so? It's because she's my loyal top fan and she had been supporting me since I had published the first chapter of my first novel.

She also gave me inspiration for my other novels and had helped me in my newbie author days by giving me writing tips.

She had given me her moral support and had become my editor and proofreader for free and even though I had told her many times to accept my money, she always told me that being the first to read my novel was the best payment for her.

She was the best reader that all authors had dreamt of having at least one of her.

She was my Omniscient Reader because she saw through all my plot twists and it was my dream to create a plot twist that she wouldn't be able to predict.

I saw the contents of her message and quickly analyzed the contents.

I began to type my reply and this was what appeared on the screen:

[CutieBrei15: Are you awake? Well, that's a stupid question. I already knew that you were awake considering you had a daily routine. How about I rephrase my question. Have you woken up to Reality and ready to face it?]

That's one odd question. I don't know how to answer that. Let's see...

[KatakeKage09: You know that I can't face reality, right? I had already escaped from reality and my novel is my only real world. Sometimes, I had wished to get run over by a truck and reincarnate into another world.]

[CutieBrei15: Don't think something like that! If you die, then I wouldn't be able to read the endings of your 100 novels. Also, wouldn't your relatives be sad if you die?]

I wished my relatives would be sad if I died. The best-case scenario would be that they would act sad that I had died and later take my billions of dollars inheritance.

Well, guess what? I ain't giving them my money. I already wrote a contract and it stated that all my money would be donated to orphanages after I died.

[KatakeKage09: I don't have anyone to label as my relative. I don't have anyone close to except for you.]

[CutieBrei15: Is that a proposal? If it is, then I will only marry you after you complete all of your novels.]

[KatakeKage09: Don't misunderstand me. Btw, I'll talk to you later. I need to finish my novel chapter and as we speak, I'm using my left hand to type on my mobile phone so that I won't waste any second in writing my novel.]

[CutieBrei15: You're pretty diligent! Okay, I won't bother you for a bit. Good luck with your writing!]

I closed the messaging app after that.

I opened the writing platform and copy-pasted the words that I had written on my mobile phone.

Each of my hands could write at least 50 words per minute. It was a talent that I had honed for 4 years.

My typing speed was on par with national-level hackers.

I kept on typing and writing like there was no tomorrow.

********

8 hours had passed.

"Finally! I had been typing and writing nonstop! I had even consumed 10 instant noodles."

As I was about to cut the power on my computer, the monitor started to glitch and a screen with one-paragraph text appeared.

[Are you tired of this rotten world? Do you want to escape from reality? What if you were given the chance to go to your novels? Will you believe if I told you that I can bring you to your novel?]

Of course, I won't.

[I see... Then I guess action speaks louder than words.]

What th-

My room started to shake. I opened my window to see what had happened and found out that my room had floated.

A portal appeared in front of my room and my room flew towards the portal.

"My bo... dy... Feel we...ak..."

I passed out.
