Ground Work

In the morning Carrera was still attached to me as k felt my morning wood grow inside of her.

Carrera opened softly and smiled at the feeling inside of her.

"Are you so excited to see me in the morning Darling?"

"Maybe." I grinned, you can tell what happened next.

After the streamy and sweaty session of love making me and Carrera went and washed ourselves off together, which resulted in us having to take two showers separately this time.

After we had cleaned ourselves we had started getting dressed but seeing each other getting dressed resulted in another shower.

Finally once the morning necessities were finished we left and entered Vivian's room where we saw scratch marks everywhere and unknown juices on the bed that she was laying in.

'I had forgotten all about Vivian, was she mad at first when she heard us? But then started touching herself?' I gave a guess after seeing everything in the room.

'Are both her and Astrid Voyeurs?'

"Vivian wake up!" I yelled making Vivian shoot up and dash towards me. I didn't dodge since I felt no ill will from her as I allowed her to latch onto me with all 4 of her arms.

"How could you just do something like that without me!? What happened to our contract!? Do you know the torture I went through!?" Vivian looked up at me with tears in her eyes, for a second I felt bad, only a second.

"If I had done it with you, you would have tried to put me in your stomach for the rest of your life, you wouldn't be too good of a Familiar after that." I said matter of factly.

"That…you can't blame me for my instincts!" Vivian protested.

"I can't blame a Lion for its instincts of hunting me, but I can still kill it to defend myself, essentially what I'm doing here." My expression never changed.

"Now turn into a small spider." I gave her my hand.

"Okay…" Vivian relented sadly as she turned into a small spider and crawled up my arm and onto my shoulder.

"Thank you."

(You're Welcome) Vivian responded in my mind.

"Where are we going Darling?" Carrera inquired.

"To that Library." Carrera immediately frowned at my words.

"I thought I made you forget." Carrera crossed her arms.

"You made me forget about everything for a minute but you can only look away from reality for so long." I said solemnly.

"Why did you suddenly start getting philosophical?" (I kid you not it took me an hour to find out how to spell that word)

"I've been reading Lord of the Mysteries." I confessed.

"What is that?" Carrera raised an eyebrow.

"A book, now if you would I want to talk to the Library Lady by myself."

"By yourself? I can't allow that!" Carrera exclaimed.

"I'm sorry if I made that sound like a question." I said firmly. "Plus she's married."

The end part of my sentence eased her worries only slightly.

"How am I supposed to believe that will stop you?" Carrera questioned.

"Never know, so stay here, if i sense you around the Library there will be a punishment understood?"

"Yes." Carrera said with her head hung low.

"Good, plus I'm going with Vivian nothing's going to happen." I then left with Vivian still on my shoulder in spider form and headed straight for the Library.

Carrera was right marriage was not going to stop me.

*Ding!*

Once I entered a bell sounded above the door as Lucia greeted us.

"Hello welcome to- ah it's you the man who had fell asleep with those two girls, how might I help you?" Lucia have a happy smile.

My irises changed into that of a Dragon's as I looked at Lucia and noticed a fetus growing in her stomach.

'She's about 2 months pregnant.' I thought and did some math in my head. 'The army that kills them will probably hit when Milim is 2 months old so I've got 9 months to lay the ground work and make my decision.'

"I've come today because I wanted someone to read a book with and well the people around me aren't too literate."

[Sugar Mommy protests]

"So I thought who's better to read with than a Librarian." I smiled.

"Oh…I would love to read with you but it might not be all that fulfilling since I'm working." Lucia gave an awkward smile.

'I know she's not stupid, she can see that as a flirting attempt, she's innocent but not innocent to where she doesn't know the world, what I have to do is make her believe that I'm not flirting.' My mind moved fast, but I already knew of this outcome and was prepared.

"That's alright, I kinda expected it so I had this ready." I brought out an identical book to the one I was reading. "Please read it for today and then I'll come back tomorrow to talk with you, I just want someone to share the experience of reading with." I smiled humbly.

"Then I'll gladly take this and read it." Lucia took the book with a smile, it seems I was starting to trick her but she still hadn't fully let her guard down.

"Thank you, I'll see you later." I waved at Lucia and bid her goodbye as she did the same, once outside I looked at the spider on my shoulder.

"When she goes home follow her and watch her, once she's there enter the house and see if you see a man there, if you don't then continue to watch her for however long until you can find a unique looking man with stary night type of hair. If you never find him then return to me when I go back to the Library and she's there as well." I gave my orders.

(Okay) Vivian gave a mental nod as she hopped off of my shoulder and entered the Library to start her spying mission.

"The things I do." I sighed to myself.
