1 Chapter 1 - Prologue

I woke up with a searing headache most likely from the alcohol I drank last night. I guess it's true that alcohol isn't the answer and adds more to the problem. I got up holding my head trying to keep myself steady as the hangover seeped into my mind.

My tolerance to alcohol is quite high and I rarely get drunk unless the alcohol is really strong.

Guess it's still nice that my parents are now living a retired life and handed me their restaurant.

They went overseas back to our hometown and spent their retired life there. My parents often check on me even though my restaurant has been slow and haven't gotten many customers doesn't discourage me one bit.

Still it does stress me a bit and cause me to have a drink. Am I contradicting myself? Probably.

Right, question is why did I accept to become a restaurant owner?

Simple, I acquired a system like those in manga and anime.

It gave me a God level in cooking where it ranges from Novice, Elite, Expert, Master, Grandmaster, Legendary Master, Demi-god, God, and so on and so forth. This meant my knowledge and skills in cooking were superb that even top class chefs won't compare.

Unfortunately, without any customers how the hell do I get money and use this skill!?

Then again, I should do some flyers but that will cost more money and ain't going to ask my parents for more when they want me to be responsible.

Should I be mad? No, instead of going to college I'm doing this and I should at least man up and take responsibility. Not to mention I'm also 20. Normally, people at my age are in college and studying.

What are my goals in life? Nothing much beside lived comfortably. Maybe I will have my own family since I couldn't have one during my previous life.

Yes, you heard that, I am like those cliche protagonists and yes I am also fan of fictions like anime, manga, Manhwa, Video games, etc. the only difference is that I actually have a life with spending time doing some martial arts and stuff because I inspired by Street fighters, Dragon balls, etc.

Truck-kun found me and I expected that I'll be reincarnated in the anime world only to be disappointed since it never happened.

Still, I never wasted my opportunity to live since I was an orphan back in my previous life and did everything to make my parents proud.

Well enough of that, it's time to do my usual routine and head to my restaurant hoping that I'll get something soon. I got out of my bed still struggling but I eventually managed to keep myself from falling and steadily arrived at my bathroom and saw my face.

My black hair was rather messy but with a simple flash of water instantly returned to its former closure and already began to feel sober. I was naked since I normally sleep shirtless showing that my muscle that I cultivated through the years.

Even in this life, I participate in martial arts and other sports since I wasn't the brightest person and invested in what I can do.

I'm not dumb just not a genius.

I rinsed my face and went to make some breakfast since it was still early around 6 Am and I typically open my restaurant around 8 am to 9 am.

Opening my fridge and taking out whatever was inside began to do my work making simple scrambled eggs and toast showing the dexterity of my hands.

Eventually, I finished preparing my meals and was about to have my breakfast when a knock at the door came.

"I wonder who that could be."

I didn't order anything or expect people to come to my house. It's the old house that was my grandparents' home who were both japanese. Yes, I am in Japan, the home of otaku and neets.

I headed towards the door and opened it only for my words to stop in its tracks.

"Is there anything I could do for yo—"

My eyes widened in shock and in front of my eyes was a beautiful girl with long blonde hair with flaming orange tips and red-orange eyes with dilated pupils, and a buxom figure with large thighs and large breasts.

"Good morning, my darling! Hope you're having a great day!" Her playful words brought me back from initial shock and like a dump truck returned my memories of what happened last night because the person was Tohru from the Kobayashi dragon maid!

It was night and I was drunk having the time of my life when I suddenly stumbled upon the mountains holding the expensive sake with me until I stumbled upon Tohru in her dragon form.

Tohru pov.

Those accursed gods have defeated me like this. I'm going to die aren't I? Alone in this unknown world. As I was waiting for death to come was when I saw a person walking towards me. I've seen a number of human men before and can see that he had a handsome and well trained body.

"Where have you come from, Human?" I said trying to intimidate him yet his eyes suddenly glimmered with something within his eyes that I can't describe.

"Woah!! How beautiful!! It's a dragon!? A real life dragon!!"

I was taken aback by his words when I'm used to hearing foul words come out from humans especially when I am in my true form yet he called me beautiful!?

Is it because he was drunk, seemingly carrying a bottle of booze? I do not know yet I could sense that he did not lie nor has reason to.

"Oh wow! Your scale feels amazing too!"

I was surprised when he cared about my scale, making me shudder. It felt strange letting a human touch me but it's not like I could do anything when my power is sealed because of god's swords.

"Hey, do you want me to remove this?"

He asked about finding him climbing close to God's sword and I tried to explain it since death was certain if he touched it only for me to once again be taken aback when he managed to remove it.

Eventually he sat down in front of me and offered me a drink. I was confused at the situation yet inclined to partake since he did save. Turning into my human form, his expression immediately changed and mesmerized by my appearance.

"Wow, you remind me of someone but can't put my finger on it. But one thing is certain that you two are really beautiful!" He said to me and my heart raced hearing his words making me ponder why I felt this way.

Eventually, I drank the alcohol and I also began to feel drowsy.

"Hey, you haven't told me your name." He asked me and I haven't had this kind of interaction with a human in a long time. Most of the time they are after me.

"Tohru, how about you, human?"

Why am I even here? I'm already healed and my power already returned yet why am I wasting my time with a human?

"Oh Tohru? That's a nice name but don't you have a last name? A family name? Mine is Kaiser, My full name is Katsuro Kaiser." Someone with a full name seems surprising to me. Was he a noble?

"I don't have one but for you to have a last name, are you noble in this world?" He seemed confused and shook his head.

"Ah, no, you might be from a place with knights and stuff. My world is a lot more mundane and peaceful…"

He proceeded to tell me more about his world and how dragons are nothing more than myths made by humans. It is surprising that this world would have gone this far without an ounce of magic.

"Though, It's annoying that I have to live alone…but don't get me wrong I'm happy that my parents are taking rest after taking care of me but….that's how it is. What about you, Tohru-chan?" He asked to take another sip of his alcohol and thought for a moment before giving my answer.

"...I am alone in this world." Yes, I don't know anything about this world besides what Katsuro told me and I doubt anyone from mine was here.

"....Do you have a lover, Tohru-chan?" He asked, making my face heat up, especially looking at his face.

"I don't. Why do you ask?"

A lover huh? I'm a few thousand years old and looking for a lover wasn't my first priority.

"Huh!? Really!? That's surprising when you are a dragon and stunning woman too!! Hey, I'm single, want to be my lover?"

I was taken aback by his words seeing him rather sincere and even though drunk there was a sense that he was truly aiming to have me as his mate!?

"You can even help me with my restaurant and you can be a maid waitress! People love that!! Though, I won't let them flirt with you because you'll be mine and only mine."

I blush hearing his words rather than his possessiveness and never expected that he would propose such a thing. Is this love!? I don't know but perhaps I am fated to be his mates?

"Well, you don't have to answer now. Take your time. Well, it's been fine but I have to go home, Tohru." Katsuro stood up and felt scared that he'll leave me. I…I don't want to be alone.

"Yosh yosh~ don't be sad! You can come to my home once you have your answer. I'm sure a strong, powerful and beautiful dragon such as yourself will find me."

I felt warmth that I never felt before and my heart continued to race nonstop holding hands on my head as he petted it. Once he was gone, I contemplated what I should do.

His words and offer made me feel something that I can't explain. Am I really in love? Yes! There is no other answer!

That moment I decided to accept his offer and flew towards his home.

Finding him through his scent and along the way I also spotted what seemed to be a maid and copied their outfit and soon arrived at the doorstep.

Katsuro POV

Okay I messed up. In front of me was the main heroine of an anime called Kobayashi dragon maid and Tohru was one of the women that I like because her feelings never seem to die down even though she never receives anything in return.

The reason I said I messed up is the fact that I was so drunk that I asked her to be my lover and work as a maid waitress! Sure that I like Tohru but isn't this too fast!?

I hardly know anything about her besides what the anime showed and I can't use that as base since not everything could be the same.

"Uhmmm….come on in. I was just having breakfast." I invited her inside and she smiled.

"Then pardon the intrusion!"

Tohru said getting inside and I brought her to my dinner table then put a plate and poured her some coffee as she looked at it curiously.

"Here, have some while it's still warm. You must be hungry." I said trying to calm the mood since I felt embarrassed about what I did last night.

"Thank you my darling!" Tohru said and took a bite, moaning at how delicious it was.

"Wow, your cooking is amazing!" She wondered how she guessed but didn't dwell on it too much. I waited for a moment and ate my food before I decided to speak my mind.

"Uhmm…Tohru about what happened last night." I try to discuss what happened since I'm afraid that I might be taking advantage of her.

It's not like this my first time having a relationship and I already had one a few years prior.

It makes me wonder how she is doing since she was an upcoming idol too.

"Oh, I've decided to accept it and be your lover! Also work as a maid waitress like you said, my darling." She was clearly eager to serve me and show her affection.

Dammit am I being overdramatic that someone is dead set on gaining my affection because of a single night? It feels like I am using her or perhaps I'm being too paranoid about this strange relationship I find myself in.

"I…I don't even know what to say. Can't say being drunk is the reason for doing all that since saying that I am not interested is a complete lie."

I know what kind of life Tohru lived and know how she feels. Even though her cheerful demeanor in the anime was prominent, I could clearly see that she feels lonely.

"Then will I live with you from now on, my darling?" Tohru eyes were hopeful and truly love stricken to me.

I am no stranger to love and you know the rules and so do I.

"Listen Tohru, are you okay with me? You hardly know anything about me and vice versa."

I said trying to confirm that she would still remain unhinged with her feelings because if she is then I wouldn't mind accepting.

"Yes! I never felt this way to anyone before and we still have time to know each other! Tell me what you dislike , then I'll do the same!"

Dammit you are too much Tohru! Alright it's going to be quite strange but I guess it's fine and I'll eventually come around and like loving Tohru.

"Also, I don't mind you having harem! That's how much I love you!" Her words are too unrealistic and hassle but any man like myself dreamt of it and she gave her okay sign?

Dafuq? Isn't it too much like a wish fulfillment? Is this a dream? Maybe and I'm not sure if this is in line with Tohru personality in the anime.

It's been a long time since I've seen the show and in this world there weren't many stories like my previous world with only a few like One piece and stuff.

I know that Tohru doesn't agree with this easily in harem. Let's not dwell too much and fortunately, I'm not a skirt chaser and ain't going to get more women without Tohru's acknowledgement.

Okay let's stop there cause I should focus on Tohru more than anything.

"...Okay, you're too generous, Tohru." I said seeing she might be doing this because she's afraid I'll leave her.

"Of course! Anyway, do you want me to start working as a maid!?" Tohru was enthusiastic in showing what she can do.

"Uhhhmmm….If you're a dragon then I have to guess you don't have any knowledge about human custom especially in this modern age." I said as she flinched, realizing that it was true that she liked a number of things but seeing the anime, I know she is quite adaptive.

"Then teach me! I'm willing to learn!"

Tohru huffed showing her determination and I started to like her since she brimming with charisma and character that you can't hate her. Then again she's from the chaos faction and most likely killed humans but that's in the past.

"...I guess I have spare time." I said and her eyes lit up and jumped from the table hugging me tightly. It's a good thing that we're done eating. And the plate wasn't damaged since she managed not to hit any of them.

"Thank you thank you! Does that mean I'll be by your side, My darling~!?" She said, rubbing her face into me while her breast pressed against my body.

"Oh my~ my darling has such a hard and strong body…" Tohru sniffed the musky aroma that I had last night. Dammit I still haven't taken a bath! I just rinse my face.

Oh Fuck! My little brother! Calm down!

Her face then turned seductive with a hint of red feeling my little brother pressing against her thigh.

"Oh…You're quite big~" Tohru said blushing a bit while I also did the same.

Hey I'm just a human after all.

Even if with all my experience in previous life doesn't mean I am immune to this kind of thing, especially seeing someone like Tohru becoming real.

"O-Okay, let's just start and give you some things about our world."

I gently push her trying not to be rude since I doubt I can hurt her. I'm just a human after all. Yes I'll repeat that like a mantra! Deal with it!

"Okay! Lead the way, darling!" Tohru said, latching herself into my arms. Not gonna lie, it's nice to have someone like her.

She's one of my waifu wishlist with Yoruichi being top pick.

Okay if they are real then it makes me feel like a creep for buying those figurines….

Katsuro snapped out of it! Focus on Tohru! Don't think with your Dick!

Time passes by and I manage to cram everything down to Tohru about the modern world's common sense.

She's a lot older and experienced than me therefore it was rather easy for her to adopt and learn.

It had already been a few hours since she came to my house and wasn't currently heading to my restaurant.

Tohru was eye-catching because of her outfit but that's fine since in this land, it's quite common to see things like this.

"This place is really amazing unlike my world!" Tohru said with her eyes shining and enjoying herself. It's most likely because of me.

I don't know but it's just a guess and I'm not being narcissist thinking that was the case.

"Well, I'll show you around once we close shop."

She won't need to cook and simply take orders. It's surprising but she is able to read and translate our language.

Is it magic? Don't know and I wonder if I could use magic but let's put that aside.

"Really!? I'm so excited!" Tohru said, laying her on my shoulder while still holding me tightly.

I have to be the luckiest man to have Tohru. I can feel a disturbance in the force as countless jealous weebs screaming "That should have been me not him!"

"Ah, here we are!"

I stopped staring at a three story building with a sign that said "Dragon Nest."

Tohru please don't look at me like that! Hey don't make that lewd face please!

"Hey before you get any idea, it's my grandfather who named it not me." I said trying to stop her from doing what she planned to do. She seemed disappointed but accepted it nonetheless.

"Anyway, let me show you around." I said as we headed inside.

My restaurant is a large building with the first floor having the table and where people eat while thes second floor is where private reservation is placed while third is the staff room where they can rest.

Not that I had any stuff since the restaurant and my system provide me with clones that cook for me that can change appearances.

Too bad I can only use it in the restaurant and nowhere else.

Tohru got a general idea of everything and I proceeded to teach her some etiquette in how to take orders and deal with customers if they ever had one.

"This is the first time and it's since if you mess up but don't use violence and let me handle it if there's any problem."

I warned her since I'm worried that she might accidentally kill people. Not that I can't do anything about it since I have full control of anyone in the restaurant.

"Okey dokey~! I can handle myself without any problem, Darling!" Tohru said while I simply patted her head.

"I know but call me if you can't handle it or if you need help." I said the door opened and the first customer to arrive was a towering fair-skinned man with blue-eyes and blond hair.

His hair reaches mid-back and also sports a chest-length beard, macho mustache, and strands forming a thick antenna-like shape hanging in front of his face.

"Hahahaha is this a new restaurant in the neighborhood? The atmosphere looks quite nice."
