'What the actual fuck?'
Viole was so stunned by this series of messages that his mind blanked out for a couple of minutes. Then he checked the system again to see whether he was hallucinating for some godforsaken reason. But to his disappointment, he was not. The Shop tab had disappeared completely.
'What happened system?'
He asked to the system mentally expecting a response, but he sadly did not get any. And this both confused him as well as terrified him.
It terrified him because this might result in him not being able to leave this world permanently. But to his slight relief the function called 'Dimensional Incarnation' was still there.
This at least calmed him down and prevented him from panicking. He doesn't know what he would have done, if he suddenly found out that he could not see his loved ones from the Fate Dimension again.
'Phew.'
He then resentfully looked at the notification that was the award from this unprecedented gacha spin.

Eventually after staring at the notification as if he was going to bore holes into it. He proceeded to look at the description of the accursed item. And when he looked at it, his eyes almost fell out of its sockets from sheer incredulity.

'Wow, just wow.'
Viole was positively flabbergasted by the description he saw there, and thought to himself that this was some game breaking stuff.
'But then again, the System Shop itself wasn't that balance friendly in the first place.'
Rationalizing it to himself, he started wondering to himself whether he should consume this essence or not. After all, it did do a number on the system, or at least it's source did.
"I shouldn't overthink too much." He muttered quietly to himself as if to reassure himself of his decision while taking the essence out of the inventory.
As soon as it was taken out of the inventory, the room was filled with a kaleidoscope of colors which was emanating from the small vial containing it.
He opened the vial through pulling out the stopper lid. And then-
"Here goes nothing."
He drank the essence in the span of a single breath. As it went down his throat, it had an ethereal quality to it. As if it was in a constant manner of flux between the three states of matter. It was tasteless, and at the same time the most delicious thing he had ever drunk.
As Viole basked in the feeling of this ephemeral euphoria, he experienced a sudden feeling of vertigo and dropped the vial. He consequently fell on the ground and passed out.
He was experiencing this feeling, because the essence was changing his entire existence at a fundamental level. It was not just changing Viole, it was changing his main body that existed outside the dimensions in the unknown void.
It was rewriting certain parts of his existence, and also cutting off a weakened connection from a certain place. But that is a story for another time.
He also started remembering everything about himself, since his memory became perfect. He became whole once again. At least, he would feel like that when he wakes up from this.
His mind expanded to an unprecedented degree that it felt virtually limitless in capacity, which it most likely was.
A supernatural energy reactor started to form inside his body, it devoured the Time Devil. After doing that, it analyzed the spell inside it and then engraved it into his body by forming a more powerful version of the Devil under its absolute control .
All of these changes were happening on their own, and just as Viole started regaining his consciousness. He entered a state of enlightenment.
The flow of Shinsu around him shifted into a streamlined manner, and his body seemed to become a black hole and started to absorb the Shinsu around him rapidly. The Shinsu flowing inside him started to compress and increased its pressure exponentially.
Various symbols started floating around him, he even started levitating. If someone was watching this scene, they would be overawed by it. It was as if he was slowly ascending to another plane of existence.
Everything had happened in a span of 15 minutes. But these 15 minutes had changed everything for him.
"So, I have been manipulated huh..."
Viole said this in an uncharacteristically cold manner for him. He didn't mean that he was manipulated by FUG, which he was. What he meant was much deeper than that.
A tear ran down his eye, while his cold expression did not change.
'I am so stupid. Of course, nothing comes for free. I bet I am still not completely free, even now. In the end, I was nothing more than a puppet.'
He was acting like this, because he actually remembered everything. Even his original life, which he had no idea about until now.
'Well, nothing I can do about it now. So let's move on and not dwell on things that might never be resolved.'
He forcefully changed his thought process so as to not dwell on his past. His completely average past that had a sprinkle of tragedy and regrets in it...
