101 Chapter 101 - Aftermath
Ryuu explains and not wanting to tell her that he gained a partial divinity from the god but it was so weak that it's hilarious that he calls himself a god. There wasn't much from the memory of the god as it was mostly after he descended and didn't include his time as god.
If wanted to acquire the memory then he had to devour the true body of the god and he doubted that his power could contend with the true power of a god.
Even if he could, it doesn't mean he should consider it possible to cause a catastrophe of collateral damage from their body.
Regardless, he would be stronger when the god returned. After giving his explanation, Trese nodded and returned to her dazed expression having deep thoughts.
"There it is again!? What's troubling you? Maybe I can help?"
Ryuu exclaimed, always wondering what the reason for her daze was. Trese turns to him and hesitates to share her own feelings but recalls one of Ryuu's advice from the restaurant and smiles.
She was pounding while pondering the meaning of it. Trese never found someone more compelling to tell it than Ryuu.
"Don't tell the twins about this, okay!?"
"I swear in the name of my parents and lovers."
Ryuu said, causing her to nod before realizing what he just said.
"Did you just say lovers?"
"Yeah, I have polygamous relationship and no, it isn't as bad as you think."
He always finds that the media always paint it as a bad thing when actually if properly managed isn't that bad. They are jealous and have difficulty but that's just part of life, be it monogamous or polygamous.
Trese a bit surprise that the man before him had multiple lovers but she only shook since in supernatural a polygamous relationship is normal especially the tribe leader. Even her family practiced it only his father was the only monogamous relationship.

"Well enough about me, Just tell me what's bothering you?"
Ryuu said while he took a sip of his wine while Trese nodded, taking a few moments to consider what she was about to say.
"Well, there's a man I've recently met that made my heart beat faster than normal."
He nodded pondering who the lucky man that took her heart considering she was always a stubborn and headstrong woman. There are few men out there that would make her heart waver.
"Let me guess, you imagine this person getting hurt or being intimate with others makes you feel hurt?"
"....yeah."
Trese recalled feeling pain from seeing the person in her heart being intimate with another woman. The more time she spent, the more painful and eager she wanted to know more about him.
"I'm no expert but I think you started to fall for this person."
"....then what should I do? He might have someone else and I don't want that person to be involved in the supernatural."
"Living in this world, there is always danger lurking. It's best to take action before you regret it. There is nothing to lose if you tell him how you feel."
"Even still-"
"You're just making excuses. What is this, that or those scenarios? You'd end up overthinking again, Trese. It's best to speak rather than bottle it up and regret it in the end."
Ryuu advised as he started to act in a way that benefited him and his family by helping others as a byproduct of it.
"...you're right…."
"Anyway, who's the lucky guy?"
He took a sip of his wine happily for his friend finding someone she's interested in while Trese contemplated his words touching her heart wanting to know if it was true that she's falling in love as they weren't anyone that makes her feel this way.
She looked intently toward Ryuu pondering if sharing the name of the person she's interested would be a good idea but Trese felt compelled to tell him.
"Don't tell the twins but his name is…Ryuu Cinc-"
"Ffffffuuuuu!!!!!"
Trese is taken aback when Ryuu pat his wine to the side looking at her bewildered and dumbfounded hoping that it was mere coincidences.
"Are you alright? Do you know Ryuu Cinco…hold on….are….you Ryuu?"
"....uhm…" He couldn't answer immediately.
'shiiiiiiit!!!!!!'
Ryuu inwardly screamed, wanting to run away as far as he could. It was too terrifying to be a coincidence and wonder if someone is controlling their fate but shook his head at the thought as Trese looked at him intently.
She had a sudden realization how the two seemingly had the same personality and gave the same vibe but was unable to be sure until now.
Trese hoped he wasn't Ryuu as it would make her faint from how fast her heart was beating. It was far too fast unlike a romance story that takes like a whole season for hand holding.
"....who's that?"
"....you are Ryuu….just tell me the truth."
Ryuu sighed hating that he dislikes lying to someone that he is fond of. He morphs his face making sure no one else was around looking at Trese who baffles that it was true.
"I'm sorry….I didn't think you'd find this way and rather early as well."
"....I..."
"Relax, I'm surprised that you're interested in me…."
Now, they were both awkward about the situation as Trese deep thoughts regarding everything and how she feels. Meanwhile, Ryuu felt conflicted accepting her feelings or moving on since he doesn't want to hurt her, especially since they only recently got to know each other.
"....so I fell in love with a man who already has a woman….."
She felt a sense of guilt and sorrow that thinking how unfortunate when she's already to feel alive was squashed by fate. Ryuu saw her conflict expression couldn't help but stand up and embrace her.
"You don't need to worry…if…if you really do like me…perhaps we can go on a date. I mention that I have a polygamous relationship…they won't mind having you. They have already met you and have a great opinion of how strong headed a woman you are."
"The waitress in the restaurant?"
"Except Kanao and Aoi then yes."
She contemplates thinking how things turn out, feeling heart slightly mellow as Trese had a good impression of them and felt like have a friend that she was able to converse with.
"Can…can I think about this? It feels too fast…"
"It's alright, take as much as you can. I'll be waiting for your answer and shall be there for you."
Ryuu smiled as she softly closed her eyes, laying her head on his broad shoulder feeling safe from his embrace as if there's nothing that he would do for her.
She hugged him as well, tightening her embraces and taking a few minutes to let go. The two stared at each other's eyes as Trese couldn't help but giggled about something.
"How funny I was troubled that I might have fallen for two men but thankful you were one and the same."
"Hehehe yeah…again I'm sorry how it turns out this way."
"I just want to know if…they are aware of the supernatural?"
"Yeah, I'm helping them grow stronger to protect themselves. If you decide to follow me then expect to grow stronger than ever before and find truths you'd never be able to know."
"Then…wait for me at least…a week on new year."
"Alright."
He nodded as the night passed by and the two went their separate ways while Ryuu contemplated how ridiculous the way was. Ryuu is a bit annoyed that his harem is expanding and only hopes it isn't like a pokemon size.
'I'm raising flags am I?'
Ryuu thought facepalming about everything, wanting to get drunk but decided to head home to tell his lover about the recent incident. He hated the fact that his lover was correct that he'd eventually have more women than what he intended.
To his guilt and surprise only received a blunt answer from his woman that made a wry smile.
"Is it really okay?"
"Yes, we already notice how she acting and holding herself back due to the nature of their work." ( Shinobu )

"It's funny but aren't you overdoing it, Justine?"( Nezuko )
"I find it lovely that she unexpectedly confess without her knowing it was you."( Mitsuri )
"The question is, are you willing to take her with us? I do believe she could need someone to talk to like us"( Kie)
