Chapter 100 - Ravenous god

oh boy, I finally reach 100 Hopefully I can finally continue this and make original stuff while you guys guiding me through it.

Again, next world mission is set on Death Mage. Then afterwards either JJK or Solo leveling. Still depends on my mood.

Despair was evident from the face of Trese who was held by the twin who were being controlled by the Datu before them whose name was Talagbusao, the god of war and the father of the twin. This is the reason why he easily controlled the twin.

"Now fulfill your destiny."

Talagbusao grinning said looking down upon her after they tried fighting him and failed miserably. Now he foretold the conspiracy and everything to Trese who learned the action of her father.

He had tried to change the prophecy of the sixth child of the sixth child when Trese was born and realized she was the prophesied to bring the end of the world and how he had killed her twin sister to prevent the future.

The dagger that she held was made from her body to ensure that both of them fight their fate. Trese couldn't believe the action of her father and fell into despair.

"I don't believe you!"

"Be as it may but you will join me like the cycle before."

Trese couldn't escape the twin grasps as the god of war slowly took a piece of his flesh and tried to give it to her. Meanwhile, the young woman's life flashes before her, remembering everything and how many things that she wanted to do.

Her hope for life where she isn't alone and happy came in the form when Ryuu came to her life. She never experienced where she would be smiling and laughing like a young girl.

The only regret she had was being unable to find the reason why her heart beat when looking at his smile.

"Have you given up hope? Good…this makes things easier."

Talagbusao maniacally grinned and entertained that his pawn had now been broken and would become what he needed to fulfill his desires.

It was at that moment, the god felt something and was pulled before slammed into the ground with immense force.

[ Eleventh Form - Behemoth's stomp. ]

The force caused a large creator to turn the god of war into smoosh as a cloud of dust was formed and within them were blood soaked red eyes glowing from the abyss.

Trese heard the voice and felt hope a srhe twin let go of her and turned to see someone stepping out the dust revealing Ryuu having his body newly reformed.

"Sorry it took a while. I was a bit surprise abou-"

Ryuu was about to explain himself when he was embraced by Trese who had tears streaming from her eyes. He was confused why she was crying since their relationship was only at the acquaintance friend phase but didn't say anything and just patted her head.

"I thought you had died!"

"My death is greatly exaggerated."

He was taken aback when his body exploded into billion pieces and took the biomass that he had obtained to slowly reformed his body. Ryuu had to consume other biomass from the prisoners to replenish his lost reserve.

Trese didn't care and only relieved to see him alive and well hugging even tighter, afraid that he might die again.

"How touching but you need to die for interfering!"

The god of war regenerated near instantly as a conjured weapon and tried killing Ryuu who gazed upon him that caused his body to freeze up confusing the god.

"W-What!?"

"I had enough of cliché villain monologues. I'm surprised that gods would be able to descend but too body that vessel of yours is too weak to contain your descent."

Ryuu commented comparing him to Vandalieu's world god who needed people to descend a small amount of power to materialize himself in the world.

The god of war felt offended by his remark but was still unable to move until pushing his power where he was able to take a step forward, surprising Ryuu.

"You think a human could defeat me? A god?" It boasted while Ryuu laughed at his arrogance.

"If you're a god then I'm the Ravenous Devourer of god. Trese, can you let go for a moment? I'll end this quickly. "

Trese reluctantly agreed letting go as Ryuu vanished from where he was and punched the god several meters. This surprised Tulagbusao who couldn't believe a mortal had this kind of strength. He was able to do anything as Ryuu appeared and took a stances

[ Eight Form - Summer Drought. ]

In blinding speed, he spun his chained weapon to create kinetic energy to heat up the blade and scraped the skin of the god who experienced a pain similar to their skin being set on fire.

The god of war couldn't do anything besides being skinned alive. It won't be able to kill him nor does he feel pain but his pride as God of war had been wounded, unable to accept a human to push him enough to be unable to fight back.

"Holy hell, he's beating our father like it's nothing!"

"No kidding, thank goodness we never piss him off."

"What are you two doing? Help him!"

Trese shouted at the twin as she continued to watch Ryuu who slammed the gods into the ground as he turned into a massive club that pummeled the gods.

The gods weren't having it punch Ryuu who pushed back as the god stood up and glared intent at him.

"What are you!? No creature should have the strength of this unless you're also a god that descends." It roared in anger, unable to accept its defeat.

"Seriously? This is the best a god can do?? How pathetic…"

Ryuu felt disappointed that this is all a vessel descended god could do. He does understand their true body may be in a divine realm. They couldn't descend because it would be difficult to restore their former strength even more when their faith is diminishing.

"That prophecy of yours? It's a lie you made, right?? Let me guess you're betraying the other gods or you were exiled and you are hoping to wage war against them by being here?"

The god of war flinched, being seen through that easily, which only made Ryuu scoff since it was a simple yet labyrinth plan. He was doing the same manipulation spreading his disease to people to control most world powers without them realizing.

He thought the gods may be watching him and observing for now but guess they are not able to see much since Ryuu believes they can only see what their believer sees. Ryuu isn't a hundred percent sure but his guess was possible.

"I might not be able to devour your soul but that vessel of yours is enough."

Ryuu finally took serious shrouding his body with biomass armor and equip [ Rebellion ] in hopes of absorbing the small soul of the gods.

It wouldn't work but it's best to try and upon summoning the blade, the god of war felt threatened by the imminent danger from the enormous sword.

"That sword….no human should have a weapon like that!"

"Well now you know."

The gods then heard his voice behind as Ryuu vanished. He tried to turn but was too late being sliced in multiple sections by [ Rebellion ].

Talagbusao screamed in pain as Ryuu used his Scar Dead to weaken him mentally and physically. Old wounds, be it mental or physical, began to open up.

Ryuu looked down at the pieces of flesh spreading his biomass through the vessel of the god and stabbed himself with the rebellion.

"Gaaaahh!!!! You have no idea what you are doing!! I shall come back and hunt you down human!!!"

"Try it and I shall devour your true body. My name is Yaldabaoth, remember that."

Ryuu synchronizes energy from the god, feeling a sensation unlike before and somehow could feel more connected to people.

'I didn't get a divinity but I could feel my physical strength and combat potential seem to have increased.'

The one he devoured was a God of War and Warrior therefore every area connected to it was increased. Though, the war doesn't necessarily include military planning only combat.

He had the sudden urge to devour the true body of the gods as they gave a lot of benefits. Ryuu turned to his allies who were baffled about everything.

"Soooo, does anyone want to grab dinner?"

Few hours passed by, Ryuu was having a drink with them to drown their fatigue away as it's been a long day. Trese was currently at a table with Ryuu who was drinking a fine wine while the twin headed off with their girlfriends.

He turned to look at Trese who was in daze thinking about something. She wasn't yet drunk but obviously taking an affect.

"You seem troubled? Is it because I technically died or how I devoured that god?"

"I'm just wondering, what are you really?"

"A Human?"

"No human could possibly survive from that explosion or even kill a god."

"I didn't kill him, only wounded. Though, it would take time for him to recover."
