54 Chapter 51 - Onii-san

Few minutes later, Kanae, who was on top of Ryuu, woke up to see her lover smiling before giving a kiss then showing a bright smile. It was their routing every morning spending most of their time in the Dimensional room. 

"Good Morning, Ryuu-kun~."

Kanae teasingly said before receiving a flick in the forehead from Ryuu making her pout. She didn't expect him to hit her forehead like that and it is fortunate that she is relatively strong enough to withstand a flick from Ryuu who easily destroys iron. 

"How many times have I told you to stop calling me that? We've been together nearly 3 years now?"

Having six months passed outside had been equal to nearly 3 years inside the Dimensional chat group, enough to know each and every. He had gotten used to teasing that it only annoyed him or ignored it. 

In those times, Ryuu had bought books from his world that he remembered and studied using his [ Eidetic memory ] so that he could easily pass every exam. 

With the addition of [ Gacha ] acquired some interesting Innate skills which are Surgeon ( High Tier 7-A ), Biochemistry ( Mid Tier 7-B ). 

This is the only interesting item he got for the course of six months. Ryuu luck ran out but still this was useful in the near future. Surprisingly, the Dimensional Room hasn't aged anyone despite a 3 years span and theories that their age only correlates outside the room.

"Why!? I like calling you my Ryuu-kun…."

Kanae gave a puppy eye that only made Ryuu sigh and couldn't deny her request despite his annoyance. She was treating her like a child which he disliked but for so long she was happy.

"Ryuu…? Goooood morning."

Mitsuri woke up yawning before him a morning kiss and soon Shinobu opened her eyes, woken up by the commotion.

"Morning, Ryuu. Did something happen?"

"Well I have to do something on my own but don't worry it's not dangerous. I can always come back using Yamato."

Ryuu saw their troubled face when he mentioned doing something but calmed down when he mentioned Yamato that could open up portals for him to return any time. 

He stood up from the bed, strengthening his muscles letting the girls have a little show. Ryuu has grown to be comparable to Garou's lean body. 

"Alright, anything you like for breakfast?"

"Miso soup please!"

"Can you cook some Tempura!!"

"I am craving some Omarice!"

Their faces brightened up and made Ryuu chuckle, never expecting that it was true that stealing a woman's heart is through cooking. 

"Then go ahead wash yourself first while I prepare breakfast."

Ryuu went downstairs where the kitchen was and began cooking breakfast. He used his blood clone to easily finish everything until his lovers came down to join him. 

"Girls eat up while it's hot! I'll just wash myself."

"We'll wait for you." 

He only smiled before going to the bathroom and looking at himself seeing his hair had grown enough to reach his shoulder. It certainly gave him some charisma giving a light smirk before rinsing his face. Before heading back and joining his lover for breakfast. 

"Where are you going, Ryuu?"

Mitsuri asked curious where he would need to be where they couldn't come with him. 

"I'm heading to the Kamado family to learn about the Sun Breathing." 

They were silent recalling the sad fate that the two siblings would face. It was truly heartbreaking where only the two survived from the encounter from Muzan. 

"Then I expect you're going to save them?"

Shinobu wanted to personally dismember Muzan but decided to let Kagaya do the rest to put a closure to their family history. 

"Of course! Though, I want to scare our dear little Muzan like Yuichiro did to him."

"I could only imagine how frightened Muzan would be fighting you even more once you've completed your [ Breath of God Eater ] was it?"

Ryuu nodded, devouring the last piece of the food on his plate. Soon they washed the dishes and went outside afterward headed to meet Kagaya to informed about his journey. 

"You rarely request anything besides your training with the Hashira. How was your training? Have you completed the form you've been looking for?"

"That is why I am here to do just that. I don't know how long I'll be gone but as soon as I'm done then I'll head back." 

"Very well, If you need any assistance then please contact me."

Ryuu nodded thanking him before heading outside to start his journey. He went to bid farewell to his lover before looking at the map which showed the location where the Kamado was. 

He nodded before taking out his [ Yamato ] and slash the air forming a portal before passing through it where he was greeted by the snowy forest. 

The season was winter which was harsh for people in rural areas especially from this era. Ryuu looks at his clothes wearing his black yukata with red gradient below over his Demon Slayer uniform. 

The two Nichirin daggers sheared on his waist with chains at the end dangling. He had a mask that was gifted by the previous Water Hashira. It was a dark wolf mask. 

"Are you lost, Onii-san?"

Ryuu turned to see a young girl around 14 to 16 years old come out of the bushes. She had her hair tied and wore a light pink kimono with a hemp leaf pattern, she has a red pink colored eye. It was the most recognizable person.

'Nezuko? Why does she look slightly older?'

He observed her and could see that her age was between 14 to 16 rather than the 12 or 13 that she started. Ryuu's actual age was 18 but mentally around 24 still he found it interesting that their age was closer. 

Ryuu wasn't planning on flirting with any of them but he could see that she was blushing a bit seeing his face. He only shrugged it off for now as his goal was to learn the Hinokami Kagura otherwise known as the Sun breathing technique.

"Yes, I've been on a journey to something but found myself lost?"

"Onii-san, this is in the middle of the forest and it would be late if you go back to the village now, why not stay in our for today? because it's pretty close here."

Nezuko happily suggested that Ryuu find her innocent for trusting a stranger this easily. Though, he guessed it was just their nature. 

"Are you sure? Don't you think I might be a bad person?"

Ryuu said only to receive a giggle from Nezuko, confusing him. Though, he finds her laughter to be elegant and adorable like Mitsuri.

"Onii-san If you were a bad person then you have already hurt me."

"Is that so? Well let me introduce myself first, call me Ryuu."

"Ryuu-nii? I'm Nezuko Kamado, come before it gets dark."

He nodded following the young girl through the thick forest. Nezuko glance at his waist curious as to why he had weapon

"Ryuu-Nii, Are you a ronin? Why are you carrying a weapon?"

Ronin is a Samurai without a master and what western people mistake as Samurai.  

"I am and I used to slay bad people."

Ryuu unsheathed it, twirling it around his finger much to her amazement. He was playing with it as if it was a pen. 

"What is your journey about?" 

"I've been trying to find what is called Hinokami Kagura, do you know of it?

Nezuko stopped upon the mention of their gods that her family had been offering every year.

"Yes!? It's our family god that we always offer to. Is there a reason why you want to know about it?"

"I heard it is a dance performed by a certain family and what are the chance that I would immediately find what looking for. It might be fate we meet. As for why? Well, do any of your family still know the dance?"

"My Onii-chan is the only one who knows the dance after our father passed out." 

Nezuko explains with her tone slowly downcast in sadness while Ryuu felt guilty for mentioning it and thought her father was still alive but his fate seemed unchanged. 

"Sorry that it seems I've brought bad memories."

"No no it's fine. You don't need to apologize."

She shook her head trying to not put the blame on Ryuu, showing how extremely kind she was.
