19 Chapter 18 - Reaction[Unedited]
Xiao Yan, Man who came from earth and transmigrated to the Dou Di continent did not expect that he was someone that was part of a fictional story or rather his life to be similar to a fiction.
He was born in a time where there wasn't much internet and mobile phones as Xiao Yan died before he could get a taste of the world.
[A/N: this is just me doing Bullshit as it never mentioned again that he was an earthling.]
Regardless, he was able to receive an item that seemed to use a different kind of energy than Dou Qi. It was less powerful than their energy but more versatile and malleable. Xiao Yan was unable to use this energy but based on the name knew it used Mana.
It was one of the things he remembered in his past life. Xiao Yan realized how much he could have helped his parents if he had shared ideas from earth but still it would be impossible as he doesn't know the ins and outs of things.
He used the magic tool to read the book and Manhua that was sent by the Admin. Fortunately enough, his master was in slumber and wouldn't wake up anytime soon which gave him enough time to read his story.
Xiao Yan, like his fellow chat group members, had complicated emotions from guilt, anger and grief. The first one was his guilt towards Nalan Yanran, understanding why she disliked the marriage and didn't intend to insult his family.
Though it was still inappropriate as it sully the name for their family was still enough for him to at least understand her character.
He realized from her point of view was being forced to marry someone she doesn't love for her family. A modern individual or Twitter would rant about forced marriage but this was their culture and way to respect their family.
Though, Xiao Yan is still willing to fight her for honor and not revenge. His main target was the Hun Clan who was the reason for their family downfall. He was able to find out his ancestor had been attacked when he was trying to purify his Dou Di bloodline.
A Dou Di or Dou god is only attainable with the Dou Di bloodline and without it then it's near impossible to break through. In their world, the power is divided from Dou Qi (Disciple), Dou Zhe (Practitioner), Dou Shi (Master), Da Dou Shi (Grand Master), Dou Ling (Spirit), Dou Wang (King), Dou Huang (Emperor), Dou Zong (Ancestor), Dou Zun (Zun-zhe)–> Ban (half) Sheng, Dou Sheng (Saint) and Dou Di (God). It was also subdivided into 9 stars.
Xiao Yan felt infuriated that his ancestor died and was taken advantage of by the current patriarch of Hun Clan, Hun Tiandi. He swore that his Clan would rise to become part of the Ancient clan once again.
Though, it was far from the future and his meager strength would be a fart compared to Hun Tiandi. His main focus was to grow strong and find allies to help him.
Xiao Yan may be an Idiot but was not a fool. He knew that fighting them alone is a death sentence and the best way is to gather allies from many people. Though the fellow member of the chat group could help him, he wasn't confident that they could fight the Realm(World) busting entity.

'I knew that Xun'er background is mysterious but who would thought they were the Gu Clan, One of the Ancient clan and my future wife!'
He grinned, finding out they would have children in the future but troubled by Queen Medusa and Xiao Xiao. Xiao Yan didn't want to make the same mistake but it would lead to some problems.
'Fuck I'll worry about it in the future! Maybe a member of the chat group could take her.'
Xiao Yan doesn't have any feelings for her and is unsure if the future would be the same now that his knowledge was his. He needed to prepare for the future, especially since his family was in a vulnerable state.
"I hope the chat group could give me something in the future. Hold on, let's see what kind of still I should get. I wonder if I could get out of the [store] without taking the phone."
He thought and to his surprise witnessed the store hovering in front of him and realized it was possible to summon it. Xiao Yan tried the other feature but it didn't work showing it was only the [Store] that was possible.
Xiao Yan looked around but to his annoyance it was extremely expensive averaging in hundred thousand to millions points. It depended on their destructive power, for example, [Dragon slayer magic] having the potential to destroy a small country or more that could easily cost 100,000 - 1,000,000 points.
The reason why Ryuu would only pay 10,000 points was due to his affinity with the magic and having only upgraded it into one.
'Oh shit! There's so many Essence flames!'
He almost fell out of his bed seeing the things that he would need to grow stronger. Xiao Yan was ecstatic that he wouldn't need to spend too much time finding them.
However, it quickly went down the drain when he saw the prize that ranged from 100,000,000 - 1,000,000,000 points. This was because some of the flames were world busting power.
'Dammit! I guess it's either find them or buy them. I'll go with the former as I know where to look.'
He had read the book and knew that one of the essence flames was with a Monster Beast and the other was with Queen Medusa. The next one was in the Jia Ma Academy that he wasn't planning to go to since his master already surpassed them but now it has changed.
"Damn, I wonder how I should repay him. He helped me realize my flaws and other things."
Xiao Yan's respect grew to Ryuu who could have easily hid the truth and pretend to be ignorant to manipulate them but was willing to help them. Though Ryuu had hidden intention was still a kind person. To much gods(Readers) dismay.

In the butterfly Mansion, Shinobu had a similar reaction to everyone. She was fascinated by the magic tool that was sent to her. It was completely different from a Demon art as the smell was far from a Demon's Art.
After receiving the book and glasses that increased the pace of her reading. She was able to learn the center of the story of a kind young man who had lost his family with only living relatives being his sister.
"A Demon who refused to eat humans and was willing to help us? It's outrageous."
She kept reading, finding out more giving sympathy towards the young man and shocked that he was too kind that didn't even shed any desire for vengeance, only wishing to save her sister.
This made Shinobu rethink her view towards Demon as they were only manipulated and used by the progenitor of Demon, Michael-I mean Muzan Kibutsuji.
Her hatred towards All Demon slowly shifted all to Muzan realizing that he was the one who was responsible for everything. Without him then Demons would never have existed.
'How many of you used this trick! How many could rest peacefully!!?'
She was in rage but still remained stoic using her breathing technique to calm herself down. Shinobu read it all until the end, finding out her and her allies' fate were grimmed with only three Hashira surviving.
'I-It's...I-I can't accept this!'
Shinobu was torn at the revelation and couldn't accept that even though they defeated Muzan but the cost to do so. She wanted it to change and realize the reasons why the Chat group invitation said about changing fate.
'I-I'll use this to grow stronger! First, I'll inform the others about what I learn.'
She would try to fake the source in order to hide the chat group in fear of them learning of its existence which could lead to a punishment.
Shinobu discusses the things she learns with her fellow Hashira and their leader Ubuyashiki Kagaya. They were skeptical of her words but knew she wasn't one to make up things.
"Is what you said true?"
"Yes, Ubuyashiki-Sama! I am willing to bet my life on it."
"Hmm, if it's true then our chances are truly slim…."
This caused an uproar from her fellow Hashira, especially the wind. Hashira due his violent and arrogant nature refused to believe they would be defeated that easily. However, they were silent when their master put his index finger close to his lips showing their deep respect to the man.
"Now, it's best we be prepared and not underestimate our enemy. We should prepare a way to fight them and should proceed to train further. For now, Thank you, Koncho-san."
Everyone nodded and did not say anymore as it was commanded by their master. Shinobu went back to her butterfly Mansion before looking at the chat group and checked the store alone with the mission.
