Omegaverse: The Alpha X’s Prey

In a world where there are two primary genders and six secondary hierarchical genders, life can’t be easy-especially when an omega has to live as a beta. Easton Oaks (Omega) has never stepped foot outside of his home. He hides his secondary gender while his older brother, Donovan (Omega) has no need to. From a young age, Easton was forced to train his feminine body until he nearly breaks it, achieving a Beta C-like physique. All his life he never questioned his mothers’ strange paranoias. Until one day he receives an envelope addressed to him. Inside a woven wristlet and a brief note. Hiding the ornament from his mothers, Easton manages to convince his parents 18 years of hiding is enough. He's safe now. Getting permission to enter university for the first time, Easton takes advantage his newfound freedom to search for the sender... ...unknowingly handing himself to the very hands of root of his mothers' fears. ————————————————————— In the Morris household, the family motto hereby states: “Opportunity is only granted to those who make opportunity.” And they did. Spending billions upon billions for intensive research for the past three generations, what seemed to be a futile and wasteful investment. But alas! The successful birth of Maverick Morris (the third Alpha X) arrives. Maverick Morris, the boy who has it all. Wealth. Power. Looks. Maverick Morris, the boy who has nothing. Privacy. Choice. Happiness.

My Dystopian's Utopia - Iris/Gabrielle sneak peak

Father,

You claim I "shut you out". Maybe I do.

Is it my fault?

I have lost many happy memories made with you. Those being replaced with memories of rage, betrayal, and loathing.

Why might I get along with my mother more? The reason is simple: she is my mother. Everyday she makes sure I have a belly full of food and drink. Everyday she reminds me to do my homework. She worries and cares about me. In ways I've yet to notice from you.

(And how dare you accuse us of conspiring against you?!)

Or perhaps I refuse to notice any fatherly behavior you might display.

Is it really my fault?

YOUR religion may state that thou shalt not forgive then something about those sins being theirs. [While you may claim "my roof, my rules, my religion", in my humble opinion as your offspring, I do not believe that a parent should force a child to take upon a religion. Yes parents may raise their children growing up with religion but once they are old enough to choose (say eight years old: the age where children can distinguish between right and wrong) a parent should respect that decision]. I do not believe that if there is a God, he will condemn me for sins I did NOT commit.

Setting that aside, the steps to forgiveness is a long and arduous path. It is not something that a person can achieve through efforts and willpower alone. The sense of betrayal runs deep, especially a child's heart.

Your impatience is beyond hypocritical. You have insinuated just recently (not even an hour ago) that I have not forgiven you-the "shut me out" comment, for if you were truly forgiven you would not feel like that. Isn't that true?

Let me ask you another question: How long did it take for you to forgive your father?

Now multiply that amount by two.

Why? Simply because you were my first love. Did you know that most little girl's first love is their own dearest daddy?

I honestly mean no offense when I say this, but I feel quite unwell when I converse or simply interact with you. Can you blame me for that? I may have forgotten nearly the entire ordeal I went through with you, but that does NOT mean I have forgotten how I felt.

Blame is such a strong word. I don't like to use it, but what other word can I use? You are upset that I haven't forgiven you. Somewhere in your mind, you believe you deserve to be forgiven.

No one deserves to be forgiven. They EARN it. It is the same with respect.

At times I may show a disrespectful attitude, but I do respect you as the one who provided for the majority of my life.

Take for example Cookie. We don't know her past but deducing from her personality, she have gone through a hard stray life. Do you hold any contempt for her remembering those rough times?

My 18th birthday is coming up. You have threatened me on many occasions that you would personally kick me out. Yes I may have been disrespectful, but not to the point of being sacked to the streets.

I wish I could list all the sins you committed to me. I wish I could see the remorse on your face as you sincerely apologized for each action.

Many times you compare yourself to me. Every time you do, I always wonder to myself: why is an adult comparing to that of a child? I understand that my actions can and will not be dismissed as antics like that of a rebellious child.

All in all (if you even read this far), please understand: forgiveness is something to be earned and it takes time for wounds inflicted upon a child to heal.

I ask for your understanding.

Warm regards,

Iris

PS don't find me don't contact me... just don't.
