443 If You Don't, Neither Will I (Ch.444)

Neveah stared up at the waterfall, it cascaded down to a gently flowing stream that stretched on and disappeared into the forest ahead.

It was a picturesque view, simple yet enchanting. Neveah had never known there was such a beautiful place in the back mountain of Dragon Keep.

The mountains surrounding Dragon Keep were vast but the mountain that was dragon keep itself was the largest and hid many sights that would take many long years to fully explore.

"Many long years..." Neveah murmured to herself.

At some point, if only for a little while, she had been able to see a future here in dragon keep. Bright and clear, filled with so much promise.

But now, that vision was hazy and Neveah was no longer sure of as much as the day following this, not to mention the future.

Now, she had been sitting here for a period of time she was not even sure of, watching the waterfall as time passed by all around her without her taking note of it.
