Neveah breathed a quiet sigh, she was not certain what exactly to say in response to King Jian's words, she had not imagined he would have such worries also.

"Lord River's convictions are not your responsibility, Your Grace." Neveah reminded.

"And Lord River is a respected elder, even here in the Dunes, there must be something more to it than we presently know of. Nothing is for certain yet."

"In my father's absence, the Dunes are my responsibility. Recovering Fort Blazed is the most urgent...as for the internal affairs, leave them to me and the Dune dragons." Neveah said in a more serious tone.

King Jian nodded slowly, consenting to Neveah's words.

"All squadrons are on standby awaiting Kaideon's news and Xenon will return soon after inspecting the state of the barrier. But you must know, Menarx makes flight for the Dunes as we speak... accompanied by his lady." King Jian revealed to Neveah.
