Chapter 02 : Rebirth part 2
She was about to glance over at her baby when the door was suddenly open. The medical ninja seemed to arrived.
The medical ninja rushed in, and hurried over Mebuki first. She did not bother greeting the couple and proceed with her duties.
"I need to administer Mebuki an extra dose of medicinal pill because the baby is not coming out"
The medical ninja nodded but when she took over the midwife position she became stunned. The abdominal area of Mebuki was still large. When she insert some chakra in her eyes she saw something rare Mebuki is still in labor!
"What's wrong with my wife Doctor?" Kizashi was relieved when
his wife give birth but quickly became worried again when his wife state is still not better. It doesn't seem about losing so much a huge amount of blood, His wife should be fine now but this seemed abnormal.
"Mebuki is still in labor." The Medical ninja quickly replied.
Everyone once again felt like their breaths were sucked away from their bodies. Everyone felt confused and terrified.
Twins.
Twins did not exist in Fire country for ages and there's barely any knowledge of such phenomenon. In Fire country Twins are considered myth.
"W-What?" Both Mebuki and Kizashi
muttered while looking at each other speechlessly. Two babies? Mebuki barely had consciousness but when she heard that, she felt her strength coming back Kizashi look so shocked.
The medical ninja ushered the midwife and assistants to prepare for another baby. The medical ninja gave Mebuki a acupuncture and another dose of medicinal pill, this time to ease the body make it go through healing stages, for the body
to stop bleeding.
"Alright, Mebuki all you've got to do is push and everything will be fine!"
"Hmmmmph!"
There was the final push after four hours of harsh labor, her last child came out healthily crying like her twin.
The babies and Mebuki were taken to another room after checking their conditions and wiping their bodies clean.
The family of the Haruno couple were relayed that Mebuki and the 'child' survived so, they immediately went into the new room. When they entered, they could see the Medical ninja and the midwife taking care of
two babies?
"Dear are you alright?" Mebuki's mother asked with a worried face.
Knowing her youngest daughter was on the edge of deaths door she's worried sick.
"I am very healthy!" Mebuki smiled to her family, Her older sister and her mother could be seen to be holding back their tears.
The Medical ninja finished checking the youngest that was born and brought her over to Mebuki's side while gesturing the midwife to bring the oldest twin as well. The youngest are still crying, after a long while soon calmed down when she was held by her mother and the oldest twin was quiet and sleeping beside her mother.
"Madam, what will be their names?" The medical ninja asked.
"The oldest will be, Shizuka Haruno and the youngest will be Sakura Haruno." Mebuki answered while looking at the twins.

- Shizuka Haruno's POV -
I wake up in an unfamiliar room. I was looking at the surroundings when the wooden door suddenly opened, a man and a woman walked in they're wearing traditional outfit that I am unfamiliar with.
She is a fair-skinned woman with shoulder length, blonde hair with a single bangs which falls down to her face. She also have green eyes
and wears a white long dress. I knew that she was the body's mother and the man behind her was the father.
A kind faced man with blue eyes with dull-pink hair which styled into shape of a cherry blossom. Unlike his wife, he have a darker skin-tone.
In my previous life I rarely see my parents because of my training, I am different to the other kids at my age. They're playing with their friends, while I am busy killing people who betrayed our family 'business'. Truth to be told, I don't even know how it feels to be loved. all I do before is to follow the rules and 'tradition'.
Yeah, maybe they loved me, it's just... they do not know how to express it besides, our family is not ordinary.
"You woke up, my darling." The woman said, while she's looking at me with a such loving gaze. I stared intently at her warm smile.
"Haruno Shizuka, meet your younger twin sister Haruno Sakura." The woman said putting me closer to another baby.
'Younger sister? Sakura?'
Shizuka had an inkling of the situation she was in. She saw a weird reflection and that reflection... shadowed a small body.
Kizashi, brought Shizuka closer to Sakura in hopes that she could see Sakura better.
'Okay I was picked up so easily like someone who had no weight. and I saw a small reflection of myself...'
= A baby... Me.
'A baby in front of me.. younger sister Sakura... A sister I never had. Clearly very small like my reflection.
'Shizuka, Do you recognize your younger twin sister?' my father asked.
=Older twin....Me.
"....." I'm a - - - baby??? Twin???
"Honey, look! our niece eyes got huge all of the sudden!" Daichi said to her wife.
The whole family was looking forward to Shizuka meeting Sakura for the first time and this was the reaction they're waiting for!
"I also think she recognized her!" Mebuki burst out of happiness! There was no need to worry about the twin being disconnected or recognizing each other! Everything will be okay!
"But, Sakura is not calming down..."
The happiness of Shizuka recognizing her twin was overwhelmed by Sakura's deep crying.
"Hmmmm.. I wonder why?" Kizashi felt weird as it had been sometime since Sakura's outburst.
"Honey, come closer!" Kizashi understood what Mebuki wanted and move closer in hopes for Sakura to sense her older sister and see she's awake.
'Hmmm.' (Sakura)
"Mother, does younger sister Sakura recognize younger sister Shizuka by smell?" Akihito asked her mother Sora (older sister of Mebuki).
"Babies first instinct is to smell, to recognize their close one's, so that just might be the case"
Kizashi also carefully thought about Akihito's words. Twins are mysterious beings. It is not weird to recognize each other from an early stage. Kizashi carefully placed Shizuka's forehead onto Sakura's forehead so that the two touch.
'So, I was reincarnated in this world of shinobi. I'm glad at least I can feel how it feels to have a normal family. I will definitely protect them even it will cost my own life' Shizuka thought.
The moment their foreheads touched Sakura's crying paused. She slowly opened her eyes and saw that in front of her was Shizuka the person she can't bear to part with.
Shizuka, more than anything like kids, especially twins and now she got her own twin sister! No one could explain on how much happy she was.
She used to suppressed her own emotion, but now that she's in a different world she would not definitely hold back anymore.

"You must be hungry Shizuka." The man said.
Suddenly, there's an overwhelming amount of information entered my mind. I close my eyes and I could not help myself but cry in pain.
Sakura on the other hand is also crying, as if she knows that I am in pain.
My parents panicked. My mother hastily grab me and everything went black. I could not remember the rest I fainted.

Unlike before it doesn't hurt but, I feel a bit uncomfortable because of the overwhelming information that entering my mind.

"Dear, It's been 2 hours since Shizuka fainted." Mebuki said while crying at her husband's shoulders.
Shizuka woke up her vision is hazy. Her parents noticed and stood up from their seats. they cried while holding their daughter's small hands.
I was reborn in this world with a system, but it doesn't matter anymore. let's forget it for now and enjoy the couple's company.
Then suddenly I noticed my parents who were crying 'Ah, It might be because I fainted.' Shizuka thought and unnoticeable smile bloomed on her face.
"Are you okay now Dear?" My father asked. Shizuka looked at her father strangely. she was thinking on how to answer him but her mother elbowed the man and looked at him with disdain.
"Kizashi are you stupid? How could our daughter answer you? She's still an Infant!" Her mother said as she glare at her husband.
"You're too much Dear! I am your husband! How could you hurt me like that!" he fake his tears which made Shizuka giggled. They looked at her with a happy smile.
'Thank goodness Shizuka is okay now' both of them thought in unison.
