"There you have it, 3,000,000 zecta." Grey said with a charming smile, "The current time is 4:47 pm, meaning I became a multi-millionaire within five hours of the launch.

And that is how you abuse Myriad Online's game mechanics like a boss.

As a reminder, do not attempt this, especially in Ridgemont Heights, as the guards will shoot you on sight. This was a one-time opportunity; however, there will be many more like it.

With that, I must go. I have more money to make here. However, make sure to tune in to taste the finest hate the internet has to offer and learn the techniques you can use to become egregiously rich.

Stay greedy, my friends."

An icy chill crawled down Grey's spine, looking at the screen in disbelief. "I underestimated how many people are ready to play this game.

I didn't think much about Myriad Online because it was a dream… this… is a problem."

He expected to create an under-the-radar video that wouldn't get noticed at first but then get picked up by a blog, spreading his reputation. He'd then use that reputation to sell items.

However, he didn't expect to get over a million viewers out of the gate!

More importantly, he was the most watched person—in the world—crushing every legacy family and top streamers like CrimsonSkull, White_Rabbit, and Rayne!

That alone would turn his antics into a global sensation!

He hoped that Lost Apostle was prepared to handle his identity cover-up.

Michael Raven, the grey-haired man who raised his bet at the last moment, smiled in self-deprecation as he approached the stunned, blood-soaked teen.

He wore a gray suit and had the aura of someone wise who others looked up to, a gentler version of the soft-spoken don of the Murder of Crows syndicate.

"That was remarkable; can you satiate this old man's curiosity on how you did it?" Michael asked.

"I'd usually refuse, not wanting to be treated as a lunatic." The teen chuckled, "But considering I just came back to life in the most gruesome way imaginable, I think it's safe to assume you'll believe me?"

After bursting into laughter, the man nodded. "Quite so."

"Well, then I'll explain it as honestly as I can." Grey replied, "I believe gods are protecting me.

Their immortality blessing will expire in an hour. So if you're resentful and want revenge, pull out your credit chip and cut my head off before then."

"No, I think I'll refrain; that experience was worth my money." Michael laughed.

"It wasn't worth mine!" A man snapped, "A million to chop your head off?"

"Two million." Grey smiled, "I told Sankey from the beginning that it'd double after each service."

In annoyance, the man turned to Sankey, getting a dazed nod in return. With no one trying to kill the teen, the man was glowing, still buzzing off the thrilling experience. "It's true; and worth it."

He turned back to the teen with a malicious look in his eyes.

Grey laughed in amusement when his body returned to life, looking down and finding even more blood on his clothing. "Thank you for your patronage."

The man chuckled in disbelief, looking at his blood-soaked hands gripping the longsword. "T-That was… amazing!"

"Me next!"

"I'm up!"

"No, let me do it!"

Grey arose from the dead and bowed, looking at the line of people around him. "And with that, I must take my leave as my escorts await."

The thrilled group of wealthy people groaned.

"However, I'm confident that idiots from Markov Military base will come here, offering the same." He continued, "When they do, you can enjoy the thrill.

But be warned, do not make a blood pact to pay them or bet, and I'll give you other helpful advice."

Everyone looked at the teen in confusion, seeing genuine seriousness in his eyes.

"Take this." Mr. Sankey smiled, handing the teen a medallion, "You've given us an unforgettable experience, have a talent for business, and have helped us.

Therefore, we'd like you to visit again—on normal terms. This medallion will get you in without trouble."

"Thank you, Mr. Sankey." Grey replied, accepting the medal with a light bow, "It's been a pleasure."

After accepting a handshake, the man turned and walked away. However, before the teen could walk down the hill, another person stopped him—alongside a dozen bodyguards.

"You certainly live up to your reputation, [Greed]." Ray smiled, gazing at him through her black sunglasses. The teen took a snapshot of her busty chest and sensual curves with a smile before making eye contact, which made her smile mysteriously, "Even now, it seems."

"I felt that not admiring you for a split second would be offensive." Grey replied charmingly, "What can I do for you, Ms. Ray."

"Ms. Ritzco." She smiled, "You're new here and have a knack for business. I happen to be in business; please, allow us to give you a ride."

The teen narrowed his eyes slightly, studying her expressions. "I'll take you up on that if my sky cab escorts have left. However, if they waited for me, they've showcased loyalty and trust on a flimsy promise of money. That quality deserves a reward."

"You're interesting, Greed." Ray said with a mysterious smile, looking at his blood-soaked clothing, "Well, at least allow us to escort you to your sky cab.

Unless, of course, you want to show up to your sky cab looking like you murdered the ultra-elite."

He looked down and saw that there wasn't an inch of his body not covered in blood!

"Astute point." Grey frowned, "I accept."

***

"You're honestly telling me that you can sell weapons at a 400% markup?" Ray asked skeptically.

"It seems you misunderstand." The teen smiled, "I'm saying that I can sell weapons at a 400% markup after you gouge me for my price ignorance."

Her expression crumbled. "You can't be serious."

"Oh, Ms. Ritzco." He chuckled charmingly, "I can bleed them dry at a 1000% markup. But I have a reputation to uphold, and I'd rather not make enemies [yet]. What do you say?"

The redhead narrowed her eyes, studying his expressions before looking out the window of the armored humvee they were in. "It seems we've arrived."

Five armed guards stood beside an armored sky cruiser with their hands in the air. They saw the emblem on the truck was from Ridgemont Heights, and no one threatened the ultra-elite.

"It's too bad our time has been cut short." Ray said with a sarcastic smile, "It was nice to meet you, Greed."

The door on his side opened, and a man prompted him to step out.

Grey smiled, looking at the woman with an arrogant smirk. "Greed. I'll be in Markov for at least three days but no later than two weeks. I'll see you soon, Ms. Ritzco."

Before she could open her mouth, he shut the door and began walking to the terrified mercenaries, seeing the blood-soaked teen escorted by Ridgemont guards with shaky expressions. They had never felt so much regret over a decision! However—

"Yo!" Grey smiled brightly, waving at the large bald soldier, "Are you ready to go, Mark?"

"W-What?" Mark asked, turning to the vested troops escorting him with laser rifles. The men nodded, watching the blood-soaked teen cautiously, waiting for him to leave.

"... Sure." The mercenary said hesitantly, trembling slightly, "Let's get out of here."

Grey grinned, casually walking into the hatch of the skycruiser.
