1 Chapter 1: The First Encounter

My name is Bloom Deliora Sakamaki. I am the only daughter of Richter Sakamaki and Luna Deliora. Today, I am going to meet my uncle Karl Heinz, his sons, and his wives. We were invited to a ball hosted by him. When we arrived at the manor we were greeted by a Butler. He first held out his hand to help my mother out of the carriage and then he did the same for me.

"Thank you, kind sir," we said to the Butler. We went in to see a wonderful sight. Food laid on every table on the buffet. People were chatting away with many kinds of alcoholic drinks which gave out an extremely sweet aroma. A chandelier hung from the ceiling, the orchestra playing the sweetest of tunes and of course, people were elegantly dancing the night away.

"Richter, glad you could make it," said an unfamiliar voice.

"Karl, good to see you again," said my father "Karl, this is my wife, Luna and my daughter, Bloom,"

"It's nice to meet you," we said together.

"I would like you to meet my wives Cordelia, Beatrix, and Christia," said Uncle Karl.

"Nice to meet you," I said," you all are stunningly beautiful,"

"~ I know ~," said Cordelia.

"Thank you for the compliment," said Beatrix.

"You are cute yourself," smiled Christa. They went away and I was left to explore the gigantic ballroom. When suddenly I bumped into someone and fell.

"I'm sorry," said a young boy, "but are you okay?"

"It's okay besides I should be the one apologizing," I said as I looked up I saw a tall boy with raven hair and beautiful magenta eyes wearing glasses.

"If that's the case I could forgive you if you danced with me," he said holding out his hand for me to take it.

"Why I would love to dance with you," I said reaching for his hand. He pulled me up lead me to the dance floor. We danced and danced until the song ended.

"If you would excuse me it seems that I have to go and entertain the other guests," he said kissing my hand "and by the way, my name is Reiji, Reiji Sakamaki, dear cousin it was a pleasure meeting you,"

After dancing with Reiji I decided to go outside to find a boy sitting on a bench in the garden.

"Oh I wish you would love me, notice me, care for me," said the boy sadly.

"Umm, are you OK?" I asked.

"Huh? Oh! Yeah," He said "I'm Laito, Laito Sakamaki. And you are?"

"Oh, s-sorry, I'm Bloom, Bloom Deliora," I answered politely

"So we're cousins?" He asked

"Yeah," Then I asked him "Why are you so glum? Cheer up! "He said nothing and started to stare at the ground.

"Laito, are you okay?" I questioned worriedly. He shot up.

"Y-Yeah I-I'm fine" then asked me "Would you like to have a tour around the garden,"

Laito's P.O.V

"SURE!!!" I smiled when I saw Bloom this excited. I figured she would like to see the newly grown Lavenders.

While taking her to see the lavenders I saw my younger brother, Subaru sitting near the white rose bush and crying. I think Bloom noticed that as well because she ran towards Subaru to comfort his crying

Bloom's POV

I ran towards the little boy completely forgetting Laito. The boy reminded me of myself during the time I was kidnapped by those ruthless slave drivers.

"Are you okay?" I asked carefully not trying to piss the kid off, but he just shook his head. "Why?" I asked again.

"Nobody loves me," the boy said in a sad yet monotone voice.

"That isn't true there are people who love you. Take me, for example, I just met you and I fell in love with you," I exclaimed

"Really," the boy said excitedly, enough for me to see the sparkle in his eyes.

"Yes," I said and hugged him tightly.

"Could I also join in?" I heard Laito ask with a hint of jealousy, so as to comfort him as well I extended my arm towards him to invite him into the hug and he accepted it. It felt like a happy family.

"I'm Subaru Sakamaki by the way," said the little boy

"And this is Bloom," said Laito "she's our cousin"

Subaru's POV

Damn you Laito it would have been better if you were not here but I had to ignore that fact because she was next to me and she loved me."Big sis would like to see any specific flowers, I know this place like the back of my hand," I said to her to get rid of Laito.

"Well I would like to see the Lavenders if possible," She said

"Okay follow me," I said with enthusiasm.

"I'll come with," said Laito, damn you bastard can't I be alone my new big sister.
