The monument

That turn the boy unhinged, thinking about how Taecheok might be hurt was a lot. He then started to breathe heavily as the nurse tried to calm him down. The feeling of being really preoccupied started to consume him as he didn't know what happened to Taecheok.

- What happened to him, who hurt him?

He shouted, the nurse who had told him that tried to contain him but he was really agitated and wouldn't be quiet.

- He's ok, I already told you that he was stabbed but he's recovering from that.

The nurse held him tightly, Geumin started to relax although tears were forming in his eyes that were bright and then teary.

- I want to see him...

The boy was crying, the person who helped him was now hurt. Was it his own fault? Or should he really be relying on that guy? That's the thoughts that went through his own brain, as his tears were running down on his cheeks and falling in the bed he was in.

- I'm letting you see him, after he takes some rest. Now, you should calm down and rest some too.

The nurse tried to be calm, after all this agitation her heart was accelerated almost pounding. She helped him to calm down and adjusted his sheets for him to have a nice nap.

- Here, when you wake up you'll be able to go to chief Taecheok room but now I need you to relax...

She gave him a nice smile, he nodded. As the nurse leaved the room, she noticed another nurse waiting on the corridor.

- Oh, hi. Do you need some help to carry that?

The nurse was kinda quiet, she just nodded pointing towards Taecheok room.

They walked up to there when they opened the door Taecheok was standing up.

- Chief Taecheok! You can't be standing up like that!

The nurses grabbed him and put him in his bed, Taecheok turned angry as they came there grabbing him.

- The fuck, I already said I'm fine. The bruise already healed.

The nurses glared at him scowling, they began preparing his medication. And his treatment.

- We already said that, you're not invencible and you also need to receive treatment.

The nurses were kinda angry at him, but suddenly one of them remembered of something that just happened.

- Oh, chief Taecheok. The boy... Oh, Geumin that you've been taking care of asked about you.

Taecheok thought for a while, then he turned to them.

- He asked about me?

- Yes! He was really preoccupied.

The nurse smiled and nodded to him, Taecheok looked around thinking about that.

The nurses after leaved, Taecheok was just looking at the window, while he relaxed for a while in his room. He decides to walk to Geumin room to see if he was still laying down.

Taecheok knocked at the door, nobody answered. Then he stepped in the room opening the door quietly to not disturb him.

- Hey, are you feeling good?

He said in a soothing tone, being close to Geumin while whispering in his ears.

Geumin wasn't waking up but he felt his ear tingle.

- Mhmn, what happened?

Geumin started waking up, kinda sleepy but as he blinked he noticed that Taecheok was standing up there.

- Oh, you're here! Are you ok? What happened to your...

- My bruise? It's here healing.

Taecheok stood up, Geumin was really dinconcerted seeing the depth of the bruise Taecheok had.

- Oh, I'm really sorry. That must have hurt.

- Why are you sorry? You did nothing, also it doesn't hurt like that.

Taecheok was smiling Geumin just nodded having a sad expression, he clearly want to smile too but he wasn't able to although he tried.

- Do you want to go for a walk later?

That was different, a sudden walk? Usually, they didn't ask when he had to walk on the hospital corridors but now Taecheok was asking. Was that a different occasion?

- Where? Around the hospital? Or in the yard?

- No. I mean, anywhere you want to.

Taecheok smiled as Geumin seemed really excited to walk in a different place rather than the hospital.

- Oh, then I want to see a monument!

Taecheok laughed upon seeing how excited Geumin was. Then he nodded agreeing.

- Ok, then. I'll prepare the car and we'll go there. It's kinda far from here but we can walk there.

A feeling started to raise upon Geumin chest his expression wasn't able to hide a wide smile that he had and Taecheok giggled at that.

- You're really cute when you do that.

Taecheok said as he laughed, Geumin was suddenly flustered upon hearing that.

- No, I'm not! I'm just really happy that we are going together in a walk.

Teacheok nodded and then he smiled, after finishing talking Taecheok leaved the room and went to his subordinates claiming a car and a driver.

- I need that for now, I'm bringing him to a monument. Are you able to do that?

- Yes, chief Taecheok!

The subordinate quickly went to search for a good monument, he then had a few option for Taecheok to choose. They thought that would be hard due to the quantity of different monuments, Taecheok quickly decided to finish that.

- I want all of them.

Taecheok seemed decided, the subordinate then nodded and walked to prepare the drive.

As that happened, Taecheok walked up to his own room. Chaeminsuk was there smoking waiting by the window.

- You know you can't smoke here, right?

Taecheok said as he walked up to the room.

- As if you care.

Chaeminsuk was smiling, she then walked up to Taecheok.

- How's the boy? He was really preoccupied about you.

Taecheok when hearing that Geumin was preoccupied suddenly started to smile quietly.

- Good, he was really excited.

- Really? Why? Something happened?

- We are going on a walk.

Chaeminsuk smiled while frowning, Taecheok was being too nice to him and that wasn't how he usually was, usually he wouldn't care about anybody that was hurt or didn't have any use somehow that was kinda different.

- You're different, Taecheok.
