"Sophiaaa"

Ash woke up with a gasp. 'Damn' these dreams...just won't let me sleep.' She ran her hand through her sweaty hair. 'Just why.....urrgghh!!' Tugging at her hair she laid down again. Rubbing at the sudden itch in her right eye she grumbled, 'The hell is now going on!' and tried to sleep again. Some tossing and turning, sheet rumpled Ash slept again to wake up at sunrise again. The reason - the itch in the eye.

'Again!?' She got up and went in the bathroom to splash some water to soothe the eye. As soon as she had saw he reflection of her in the mirror she was stunned. The right side of the right eye was whole red. Like someone pinpricked it , a bloody red.

A blink of the eyes and the red color was back to normal. 'Weird.....maybe im still asleep. Yaahhhh im tired.' Rubbing her knuckles across her eyes , she went to get some food in her grumbling stomach.

Belly filled , fully dressed both father and daughter went to get the mother and baby, home. On the way Ash was lost in her thoughts of what was happening with her for a few days, didn't hear her father call for her.

"Ash! Ash! Hey kid .... you ok there? What has gotten you so lost ?"

Ash shook of the current train of thought," Nothin much Father. Just tired." and flashed a smile at him. "Father what if I ... I apply for swordsman practice with my friend? Will that be ok ? He said that someone from his family is coming to teach him. Can I?"

Jared agreed as he had already discussed it with the elder and her mother. "No problem Ash. You go and learn I'll never stop you from learning."

Slinging an arm over the happy Ash they both went forward. Soon the building came in sight, they both hurried up the stairs to the pair. "Hey mom. How's my lil sis today?" Ash hurried to the bedside. Amelia hugged her older kid and showed her Fate, who was feeding.

"Woah!"Ash looked at her mother in amazement. Jared also peered at them over her shoulder.

"This reminds me of you when you were just as little as Fate now.", Jared said while hugging his wife," You were such a crybaby. Always needed to be held by someone.....good days they were. Good days. Now we got a new addition to our family."

Ash kept playing with her sister's small fingers and Amelia smiled seeing Ash act like this. Jared went ahead to have a talk with the doctor for Amelia's discharge form there. Soon the whole family was their way back home.

After settling Amelia and little one in her bed, Jared and Ash both headed to the kitchen to make something to eat. The whole day went into arranging the new addition in the house and fussing on the pair of mother- daughter.

Dinner also went by as a happy family time. Amelia then fed Fate her milk and put her to sleep. Jared took Amelia's hand and led her to bed. "Amelia, I have told you about Ash's sword practice right?" Amelia nodded.

"She's gonna benefit from this very much that I know for sure , but still...". Jared just sighed, " We'll cross that bridge when that time comes. Just take care of yourself and the little one for now. Ok."

Both the parents went to sleep after checking Fate in her be. In the other room, Ash laid on her bed and stared at her ceiling for a long time. 'All these damn dreams. When will I get decent sleep? Aihhhh....' rubbing the wolf head with her finger Ash tried to fall asleep.

Ash woke up with s start. Frantically looking around she found that the bed she was laying on wasn't her's and the surrounding room definitely didn't look like a kid as herself would've. 'Urrhggg stuck in another one. Why ?why can't I sleep like a normal kid for once?'

Once again she heard a voice calling for someone and the body which she seemed to be in starts moving towards the voice. Opening the door, Ash moved towards the stairs and saw something that made her feel like her heart was breaking into millions of pieces.

A woman was engaged intimately with another man. Suddenly they broke the contact and looked up at the direction where Ash was standing. The woman was shocked that she got caught and the man smirked as he got to have which was your's.

"It's ...it's not what you think.....(...) I mean it. It's not what it looks like...." pleaded the woman, while the person standing at the stairs walked towards them.

She raised her hands in front of her as to thwart the person to stop walking towards them. But what made them lose their rationality was the look in the eyes.

For they had never seen a person who had both different eyes even though they were the same just a second before. One eye cried tears and the other showed no emotion. One showed grief, the other showed nothing.

The man tripped on his feet, scampered back trying to keep distance from the incoming figure. the confidence he had a moment a few seconds ago, when he held the woman in his embrace. It had all but vanished in front of the looming figure, walking towards them, STEP by STEP.

A whisper was heard, which was not comparable to the looming figure, "Why? I .....gave you...my everything...my reason ...my life. Why? My wife...Did you do this me? I fought everyone for YOU, fought for everything that YOU wanted. Was my life nothing to you? Am i nothing to you?" And cradling the woman's cheek in the hands, "AM I NOTHING TO YOU? Answer ME!!...AM III?!!!"

The woman just kept shaking her head and pleaded, "No no no. It isn't what it looks like. Please believe me...you're my everything. Please forgive me."

"So this is how you show appreciation to my HARD WORK. Amazing.....had me fooled for a second there." Raising their hand towards the man shivering man at the corner trying to hide from the whispering figure, " and this is my return of the appreciation you both showed me."

A clenching of the fist was all and the result was so horrific that the woman fainted at the sight. A splatter on the wall as the man's head was not on his shoulders anymore.

"I AM TIRED OF BEING THE SECOND CHOICE ALWAYS!" With a tug the scene faded from Ash mind and she woke up all sweaty, looking like she had gone from hell and back.
