This type of date is usually set up by mutual friends. This is a time when two strangers get to know each other. A blind date can sometimes work out, and sometimes it doesn't. A blind date is awkward from the moment it's set up until the end of the night.

A blind date can be a favorable or unfavorable experience. Most people dislike going on blind dates because they never know what to expect from the other person. You never know, your friends might be introducing you to the craziest person on the planet. A blind date is an opportunity to meet new people and get out of the house.
