Yoshino Yuuki went to weep in the bosom of Ryōko Sakaki who was calming her down.

"..." (Ibusaki Shun)

"Do it outside my room!" (Marui Shinji)

Marui Shinji said in annoyance as the group was messing his room while being pitiful for someone else.

"Is he really that good of a cook?" ( Ibusaki Shun)

Ibusaki asked Isshiki. He was a little befuddled at the unnatural behaviour of Isshiki.

"He is. Well, you can taste his cooking for yourself."

Isshiki replied to Ibusaki Shun.

All of them started to chat about the topic of helping him in detail. They were like that and they will be.

That's why they sheltered Erina even though the Polar Star dorms were going to be closed due to that.

Thirty minutes later.

Tomoharu Nii came with the whole pot of egg fried rice. He made sixteen portions of it in case they wanted to eat more.

"Serve it yourself."

He put the pot on the ground and then sat on his previous position.

"Haah. Let me serve you guys. And you should respect your food you know. Even though it may be nothing for you, it is marvelous to me."

"I will."

Isshiki turned to look at the face of Tomoharu Nii with surprise. He was beginning to think that the reply he got was his hallucinations.

Isshiki served everyone and left the other half and slid it somewhere.

All of them had a serving of egg fried rice and then they all ate at the same time. What they experienced was something that the drugs of modern times are unable to create.

It was a delicious foodgasm that made every pore of their body a slave to the taste of the egg fried rice.

All of them felt like they were enveloped by the creamy yolk of the eggs in a warm and softy rice, the thick consistency and the heavenly smell, they felt like they were in egg fried rice land.

Five minutes later.

"Uwaaah, so delicious, so creamy, so subtle."

"Yeah, the creamy mellowy taste and the thick smell, it is making me insane."

These were the words from Yoshino Yuuki and Ryōko Sakaki. They were atleast bearable and could not be misunderstood if you don't think about that.

"I love your taste Tomoharu-kun, it was so thick, so intense, so warm that my stomachs all churned up. My legs could not move from the pleasure. My lower body feels funny."

But this wasn't. This were the words of Isshiki Satoshi in a nude apron.

*T-Glare*

"Ok. Ok. It was fabulous. I still can't believe that you can make something this delicious without even tasting the food–"

"Yeah~ make us more of it. I can eat it till I die. Make more~ please~"

Isshiki's words were interrupted by Yoshino Yuuki. She was trying to make him more by acting cute.

"I made 16 portions. You ate 8 portions. 8 should remain in the pot."

His words had just finished that all the eyes went towards the pot which was not there. They immediately looked at Isshiki and he had to surrender the pot in the hungry eyes of all the people present.

Fifteen minutes and another foodgasm later.

"So let me tell you the problem that I find in your cooking. It lacks emotion and passion."

"I know. I don't use any emotions in my cooking. None of them. That is also the reason why I can never complete the egg fried rice to perfection."

"Why don't you use emotions then?"

"Emotions are unnecessary for my cooking. For me. I have seen someone cook far better without any emotions."

"Cooking is all about precision. You need to master the precision and you can reach the pinnacle."

"And I don't feel any emotions for this world."

Tomoharu Nii said to them.

"Cooking is about dream, cooking isn't just presenting food to the people but it is a culmination of your emotions, hardwork, failures and all that."

Isshiki tried to defend.

"I don't want to be a professional though. I have to satisfy 100 million people and that is my goal. I don't need to be a Chef for it. I never planned to become one nor I plan to do it now. The only reason why I am here is because of my need and obligation. Nothing more than that."

Tomoharu Nii countered.

He continued," for me, food is just food. It is something that is used to fill someone's stomach. It is just that and it will be."

Tomoharu Nii and Isshiki Satoshi were having the debate among themselves while the others were listening to it.

Isshiki was lost for words as Tomoharu Nii was right in a sense.

He didn't want to be a Chef and so he did not need to act like one. He can move on his own pace of life.

For most of the normal people, food is just food that they made to fill their stomachs most of the times. Only when they had an occasion or they wanted to eat something good that they either made it or just went out to buy it.

For them, food was just that. Something to eat. They don't care about the hardwork of the Chef or the emotions put in the dishes. All thry care was that the food was delicious or not.

Only the fine dinners were the fussy ones that cared for stuff like that but normal people were not them.

So Tomoharu Nii was right at his own place.

"But this is Totsuki and here, everyone is a Chef, so you have to act like one. Don't you plan on graduating."

"I don't. If everything goes right then my plan would be finished by the end of the next school year. After that I don't think that I have to attend Totsuki."

"What is your plan by the way?"

Isshiki tried to ask but got no reply in return. He understood that Nii-kun was not going to say anything.

"Ok. You win, but how will you be able to survive the next two years. With the way you are now, you can't even cook anything above the normal level, as you said. "

"I am going to learn and use a simple plan. That's why, I need your help and information about the Elite Ten."

"What is your plan then?"

"I am going to challenge an Elite Ten."

"Are you crazy? Even though, you are good, you are not that good!!"

This was Yoshino Yuuki and she got silence by the gaze of both of them.

"Tell me in detail."

Isshiki asked. He himself sounded a little crazy but he also wanted the Elite Ten seat and his rival will be his training partner no less.

"The plan is in three parts. First and the most important, increase my Cooking level and knowledge. You will help me for that and I know that you will so don't ask pointless things."

"Second, we need information about the Elite Ten. As much as we can. For now, I have a target, Sonika Kikuchi, she is an easy women. We need to capture her and let her taste my current cooking and then get her views on our present level. After that, we have to increase our strength to the threshold that is required to challenge the Elite Ten."

"Finally, we need to find the person who will take our challenge. We can either use money or mockery to get him to fight me. I have around 150 million yen to offer as a leverage or winning prize."

"How much!"

"150 million yen."

"Well, if you're going to offer that much than even the Elite Ten will be moved a little bit, along with the fact that you're just a newbie, they will definitely take on your challenge. Probably."

He continued," but it also depends on the person as there are a lot of rich kids studying in here. But it is still enough to entice them. How much is your current egg fried rice is in taste."

Isshiki asked Tomoharu Nii.

"I have listened to the Headmaster say that it is on the level of Elite Ten candidate. If it was more than that, they must have been here to see me as the Elite Ten represents the main power in Totsuki."

Tomoharu Nii replied.

"You know a lot yet you know so little. I wonder how did you get your information from."

Tomoharu Nii said in his usual dead tone.

"It is. It sounds crazy but it is. Your dishes are really on the level that is above me for now."

Isshiki said to him.

"Ok. So when should we start."

Tomoharu Nii asked.

"Next week. That will be enough for us to gain a lot of information on the Elite Ten and then we can use that. We can also contact Sonoka Kikuchi in that time."

"And what is the information that you have on the Elite Ten council that you were going to give me."

"Ah well, let me rephrase it in the following sentences."

A committee formed by the best ten students in the internal evaluations. In Tōtsuki, many affairs are left for students to decide. What to do in these affairs is decided by the members of the Elite Ten in their conferences. They are directly below the director in the organizational chart, even the lecturers must obey the Elite Ten. It's truly the highest decision-making organ in the academy.

The Tōtsuki Elite Ten Council is an illustrious group of students in Tōtsuki who make up the student council. The Elite Ten is comprised of the ten best student chefs in the entire academy, regardless of what grade they are in. Council members are considered master level chefs, often of their own specialties, but are known to be extremely flexible, showing great skill outside of their own cooking forte. Many are even well known within the cooking industry for their contributions to the culinary world, despite their youth.

The council has a very high level of authority in Tōtsuki affairs, second only to the school director. Even the teachers have to do as the council desires. The council can even overrule the descision of the school director, if the majority of the council votes to do so.

Because of their status in the academy, they have certain freedoms when carrying out personal projects.

The Elite Ten Council is responsible for handling the academy's internal affairs, including judging the students achievements based on the student presentations in the academy, as well as helping organize school events, such as the Tōtsuki Autumn Election.

During the Autumn Leaf Viewing, an event in which Tōtsuki High School first years are tutored by their upperclassmen, the members of the Elite Ten mentor the first years who made it to the finals of the Tōtsuki Autumn Election.

The Elite Ten even have their own Shokugeki arena, The Chandra's Room.

There are two ways that a Tōtuski student can become a member of the Elite Ten Council. The first method is to be recognized as one of the ten best chefs among Tōtuski's student body by an Elite Ten review committee.

Their job is to scout any student in the academy who possesses exceptional will, determination, and drive to improve their cooking to the highest level. Academic grades and performances in certain events, such as the Tōtsuki Friendship and Rapport Training Camp and Stagiaire, and most importantly, their Shokugeki records, have also been major factors for the selection of council members.

The second method that one can use to become a member of the Ten is to win the council seat from one of the current members in a Shokugeki. This is incredibly risky, though; because the Elite Ten seats carry a tremendous amount of influence and great reputation, should a challenger lose the Shokugeki, even expulsion from Tōtsuki will not be enough to compensate the wager of a the council seat.

Students are eligible to become an Elite Ten member at any point in their student career at Tōtsuki, however, a vast majority of the members are generally 2nd and 3rd year High School students.

"And finally, most of the Elite Ten have really huge budget, really huge. More than your 150 million yen. So we can entice them but I don't think that that many will think of accepting your challenge."

Isshiki Satoshi finished his explanation.

"Then I just need to either increase the amount or bait them into thinking that I am a weak challenger. We can use the 100 million to challenge someone who really needs money and then I just need to cook something else other than my two dishes. That way, I will not break your Chef's values and morals and still be able to lose with dignity."

"After that you can challenge the Elite Ten and they would think that it was a reckless act of stupidity and then you could ram that Elite Ten. That is a more feasible plan then the last one."

Isshiki completed the plan of Tomoharu Nii. Both of them grinned a little on their own way sending shivers down the other Polar Star dorm students.

'The adult world is terrible.'

This was the thought of all of them.
