After waking up to the sound of a book being put down, Johnathan finds Ruby sitting up in her bed, with Hell's Notebook vol 1 next to her. He then realized that since his evolution, he hasn't needed to use the washroom. Appreciating the small features of evolution, he then decides to try to evolve some skills.

"Hey system, how can I upgrade my skills?" Johnathan asks.

"Credits can be used outside the system shop?"

His wings then suddenly shoots some of his feathers. They pierce straight through the tree, lodging itself halfway through the next tree.

Both Ruby and Johnathan stand there for a second. While it said the piercing power was enhanced twofold. For it to do that, it had to be pretty high to begin win. He then walks up to the and takes the feather out of the tree and tries cutting then with it. However the feather turns to dust after hitting the tree. He then makes some feather daggers and tries cutting the tree down. He swings the dagger as hard as he can. It's cuts straight through it. It falls over shortly after. He cuts the other tree down. He decides against taking them with him. so he burns them.

"This might have attracted some goblins, let's wait and follow them back to their base." Johnathan dashes behind a tree while he says this.

Ruby also his behind a tree not to far away from Johnathan. After 20 minutes or so. He then sense something approaching. He signals this to Ruby, who was already motionless and alert, so nothing changed about her. Soon she hears the goblins roaming around. The cracking of branches can be clearly heard.

The screeching of goblins can be heard for a few minutes, before they walk away. silently following them, Johnathan picks up Ruby and starts jumping tree to tree. Ruby's extremely flustered, but Johnathan pretends to have no idea why. After half an hour of tailing the goblins. They see a cave with 3 banners and skulls over them. If the last encampment had 1 skull. He was very concerned about 3 skulls. Suddenly a quest appeared.

[Another hideout of goblins has been discovered by your plans. But this time, challenge yourself. You can only use your [Eyes of a Greater Space Mage] and feathers to slaughter the goblins, however Ruby can use anything in her arsenal. A true Goblin Slayer has no need for ridiculously powerful ability to slaughter goblins. Just a good plan. Goblin type monsters give four times the amount of exp while the quest is active. The passive effects of the eyes will not be counted as switching eyes.]

Before the goblins can walk inside Johnathan uses his feather shots on them. Leaving gaping wounds in their abdominal area and head. Johnathan then whisk the corpse away with wind magic, cleaning the blood with his vampire eyes. He then walks inside the cave. With the bonus of his Lesser Wind Dragon eyes, he can easily sneak around.

He then finds a branching pathway. One to the left and one straight ahead. He shoots a small flicker of flames down the left tunnel. It goes on for a while before a wall is seen. He transmits a plan telepathically to Ruby. He then dashes down the corridor, slashing any goblin he sees. The screaming of goblins echoed throughout the cave. He then heard the footsteps of about 20 goblins headed their way. When they reach Johnathan's location, Ruby blasts flames at them. He quickly teleports near her, and shoots his feathers at them.

After the quick skirmish, then slowly move ahead. But no goblins appeared. Probably because they incinerated them all. They soon find another split in the path. However this one goes between right and left. Distant screaming can be heard in the distance. Making him decide to speed up his plans.

"Ruby, you go right, i'll go left. Whatever is happening in the goblins main area isn't good. i'l stall them, you catch up after clearing that area out, and help me if I need it. I'll message you telepathically if I need immediate backup." With that said he turns to go but Ruby stops him.

"Be careful of traps, anything could happen here." She turns away and starts going down the right path.
