The Brother is Born

One that day, the clouds covered the sun over Musutafu Japan, plunging the city into a dreary grey. The wind howled, rattling windows and causing trees to wilt and moan. Bright purple flashes could be seen dancing through the clouds followed by the boom of thunder. It was as if Mother Nature herself was giving a warning of what's to come. People who witnessed the event felt an ominous chill creep down their spine as they looked at the behemoth of a thunderstorm gathering overhead.

In a certain hospital, two loving parents held their newly born baby boy with love and affection. One was a tall man with dirty blond hair and some stubble on his chin. His skin was tanned and weathered from the many hours he worked on the construction site. The other was a petite woman with fluffy brown hair, rosy cheeks, smooth porcelain skin and squinted eyes. Although she looked weakened from the birth, anyone could see that she was quite beautiful. One thing they had in common was the bright smiles plastered across their faces.

The baby opens his bright hazel eyes for the first time. He has chocolate brown hair and two red lines that travel from under his eye towards his ears, very similar to his mother's own rosy cheeks. The baby's eyes struggle to adjust to the lights as his senses are overwhelmed. He lets out a guttural wail as his mother hugs him closer, trying to soothe him. "He's beautiful, isn't he honey?" Said the woman.

"Of course he is; he takes after my gorgeous wife after all." The man replies, smiling sheepishly back at her.

"Oh stop it you," She smacks his arm as her cheeks turn an even brighter shade of pink.

"As for his name, I think Akira suits him?"

"Akira Uraraka is a good a name as any."

The couple took turns coddling the baby until they were discharged by the hospital and allowed to take the boy home.

Back at their small apartment, they bring Akira to his new room and set him down in his crib. "What are we gonna do about work tomorrow?" The woman worriedly asks as the two make their way towards the kitchen.

"I don't know, I'll call Haijime to see if he can handle tomorrow, but after that I have to go back. You know the predicament we're in now that we have an extra member of the family." He smiles wearily back towards their son.

"All right honey, but I'll join you when Akira is able to function by himself. I'll get the neighbors to check up on him at that point."

So their new life together began.

(Three years later)

A three year old Akira dashes around the now empty apartment with his indigo cape fluttering behind him. Clutched in both of his chubby hands are action figures of his two favorite heroes, Endeavor and All Might. Ever since Akira saw the heroes on TV, he made it his mission to become just like them. His parents had to go to the construction site every day so he occupied himself by playing hero.

He spoke his first words at 6 months, much to the surprise of his family. He began to walk at 10 and was soon waddling around the entire apartment. When Akira's father went off to work in the morning, his mother stayed with him and taught him all the things to be self sufficient: How to make a sandwich from the cupboard, How to go to the bathroom by himself, how to clean his clothes. After her lessons, she played with him, bathed him and even started basic schooling as she wanted him to be able to breeze through school and graduate early to be able to start working on the construction. She was surprised to learn that he could grasp counting and basic addition and subtraction by the age of two. "My, my, it seems that we have a little genius on our hands."

(Btw mc is not a reincarnated or anything, just pretty smart)

When he was about two, his mother also started going to the job site. At first Akira was sad to be left alone and cried after his parents left the house, but he understood that his parents were doing this for him. He also got to meet their neighbor who would visit and check up on the hound boy. Their neighbor was an retired hero named Tachi Yamamoto who had lost his leg fighting a villain. He one made it to 32 on the national hero rankings after his injury, he was lost to time. While Akira's parents wished for their child to become a worker at their construction business, Tachi saw the passion to become a hero in the boy's eyes. Tachi Yamamoto always had a story about one villain or another and Akira sat quietly on his lap, listening intently as not to miss a single detail. He told him about some of the missions he completed and the villains he faced. the more gruesome aspects, although he made sure to thoroughly explain the risk that came with hero work. "A shrimp like you may not understand the true sacrifices one must take to be a hero. You always have to be aware that villains can take away your life and that this isn't some kind of game." Tachi said as he gazed into the boys hazel eyes. "I am lucky that I only lost my leg to that crocodile villain." Akira nodded solemnly as he understood the old man's seriousness.
