Too powerful I

Edna tried hard to think of what Oliver's story could be. How could he have grown without realizing his powers. He would have been born with it then.

"Do you think his parents probably escaped and gave birth to him later on?" Nel asked sitting beside her.

"Then they would have probably told him about us and they'd have locked his powers if they were afraid of Yjulv".

"Why didn't you mention the possibility of them training him?" he asked.

Edna looked at him and sighed, "is this an after-effect of you staying with master for too long. How can you not know a single thing about him? His parents died when he was little". she replied. She closed her eyes and seemed to be thinking about something while Nel watched her closely.

"Our master is still as powerful as ever even with half of his powers gone" she said and opened her eyes. "What do you mean?" Ahhhhh....... you don't think Oliver is master's son" said Nel.

"Are you crazy? What type of rubbish is that? Master is destined to be without families like that, as if they even mean anything to him"

"Then why did you say that?" he asked.

"Because he found the panacea to Yjulv visuals. The walkers, why didn't I think that the glass-bead was their nemesis" she said smiling.

"Ohh I also forgot" Nel said and Edna scoffed at him. "As if you could even remember that"

"I could remember it, you always look down on me. But, can you telepath now. I mean how did Hyde tell you when he's not even around" he asked.

Edna looked at him and smirked "Are you suprised? I also learnt a couple of new things which is why I'm confident that I can defeat you now"

"I seriously doubt it, you might be able to do it now but when I get my power you'll realize that I'm still your senior" he replied.

"What's the point postponing it, just say that you're afraid. Oliver's parents must have also escaped when you guys did, same with master Hilde".

"You don't have to worry so much but where is he? Oliver", said Nel.

"He has officially started his training" she replied signaling to Nel to look outside the window which he did.

Oliver tried very hard to pull the water tank which was filled to the brim without spilling it. Nel couldn't believe what he was seeing "You're trying to killings the kid" he said with agitation.

Edna looked indifferent and wasn't going to reply but when she saw Nel's expression she decided to talk. "Kill? If he dies from this that means he isn't even qualified to be a human".

"What do you mean?"

"Don't you know that this is a standard form of training. If he's able to push it manually, it means he is naturally strong without powers. However...." before she could finish the sentence, a dazzling light shone through the window filling the room.

"Wha....." Nel trailed as he saw what Oliver was doing. He stood in a spot with his hands slightly stretched forward. The tank wasn't being pulled, it was raised slowly, carefully and it was Oliver that was doing it. Edna was obviously suprised even though she tried to hide it but Nel was blown off completely, "He's too powerful"

"Is this where you're going to test me?" Hilde asked as they walked through a long corridor with doors which faced each other. Hyde didn't respond but just kept walking until they reached end where a gigantic stone door stood.

Hilde remembered clearly the last time she had been here with all the doors opened this was the only one locked. 'Was he going to open it?' she thought but he walked towards the corner beside it and opened a shelf containing different buttons. He pressed one and suddenly a rumbling sound was heard.

Hilde turned towards the stone door which opened slowly revealing a large, bright room, it was almost empty if not for some murals and several stone tiger heads which were stood by the walls surrounding the room.

Hyde walked in and she followed a bit nervous. "This is a training room for weapon users. Through this place you can test your speed, strength, how good you are and lastly tolerance" he paused shortly then continued "Once this tiger heads are activated, they would shoot several darts at regular intervals. However each of them have timing difference, with your weapon you could easily take some down while sustaining few attacks", he said walking towards her and putting the weapon in her hand.

She looked up at him "What are you doing?" she asked.

"Since this is a test you shouldn't expect any headstart from me. The explanation I gave you should be more than enough"

Hilde gasped unable to believe what she was hearing, "are you telling me you want me to use this as my test when I've never seen anyone do it before?"

"Exactly, I'll be waiting outside"

To be honest I've not been motivated to continue with this story. I can't assess your thoughts on the story which is very discouraging. If you're enjoying the story you can let me know and if not give me some ideas on how I can improve it. Thanks
