1 Chapter 1- Rain

I quickly walk to the nearby hospital in the midst of the night with the cold rain pouring on me. I had no umbrella, no money, just a jacket to keep me warm. Correction, a soaking wet jacket to keep me warm. I walk into the hospital. Thank God I got there, at least now I won't have to deal with the rain. I walk into the hospital only to be greeted by a cold gust of wind send shivers down by side.

I walk to the front desk in the hospital. There was a lady sitting there with short bright red hair and piercing blue eyes. "How can I help you," she said.

"I am looking for Rose and Dev Bala, do you happen to know where they are?"

"Give me one second."

She types away on her computer and clicks a few things.

"Okay so you are going to go on the second floor, take a left at the grand piano and it should be the third door to your right."

I thanked her and walked away.

My parents were admitted here after a car crash. I was really worried at first but then I was informed that it was only minor bumps and bruises.

Honestly, it was something I expected sooner or later. My dad is not a fan of driving at the speed limit. He already had gotten a bunch of tickets for speeding. He was probably driving a bit to fast when turning and drove into a pole or something. He has done it before in our old neighborhood.

I reach the door where the lady said my parents where and I walk inside.

No one was there.

In fact, the only visible trace of my parents was a little black back with my name on it.
