"Marked? What is it?" - Julia asked curiously as she tilted her head to the side.

Kai was confused looking at this woman who is abnormally powerful in front of her, not to mention that she gives off a "Marked" feeling.

Kai herself has no idea what a "Marked One" is, she just instinctively knows that the beautiful woman in front of her is one.

"It's nothing… who are you and what do you want?" - Kai asked seriously, ready to run away if necessary.

He already understood that Julia is strong, because he could only feel her, when she was right in front of him, her heightened senses did not help him at all.

And she also saw the Paranormal Sigils of her Breath of Suffering, she is the first person to see them.

Julia looked at Kai before asking. - "What were those things flying around you while meditating? I felt them from far away."

Kai looked at her, even though she was quite strong, she couldn't match some she saw around the city, so it must be the fact that she was a "Marked" that she was attracted to.

"I have no reason to tell you my secrets!" - Said Kai getting up.

Julia frowned, then asked. - "What do you want in return? I can cure you of the poison in your veins."

Julia held out her hand, but Kai grabbed her wrist and said. - "I dont need!"

The instant Julia had her arm grabbed, her pupils dilated, her entire body shuddered, and then she shot back, her eyes wide open as she looked down at her gripped wrist, there's nothing much but the feeling...

"What are you? What did you do to me?!" -Julia asked already getting furious and her Internal Force began to exhale.

Kai felt immense pressure, the pressure that comes from an Unrestricted Realm Master!

"I didn't do anything..." - Said Kai clenching his teeth and his body getting tense, sweat already covering him.

Julia had a frightening look on her face, until she darted forward and her hand landed on Kai's chest, sending him flying several feet.

Kai's eyes widened as he couldn't react, so he fiercely collided against a tree, luckily he exerted his Internal Energy at the right time, so the damage wasn't serious.

But it was still enough for him to spit up a mouthful of blood, so standing, he looked at Julia, staring at her palm.

'This… what is this feeling? That chill... '-Julia was in doubt, initially thinking it was poison, then a curse, but the feeling only lasted for a few moments after she touched Kai.

Kai on the other hand, took advantage of his confusion to try to escape, but Julia looked at him and chased him, appearing in front of him, Kai jumped and delivered a powerful kick, Paranormal Sigils appearing.

Julia sensed some danger, so she exerted her Internal Energy and used her palm to stop the attack.

BANG!

Julia raised an eyebrow as her hand trembled, blood flowed, Kai's leg was resting there, but then he backed away.

Kai backing away, looked at his broken leg, he used all his strength in this attack, just like a [Flesh Strengthening Ritual], but it still broke from the impact.

Well, part of the blame lies with Kai, as he took the limiter off his body, as such he is able to exert 100% of his physical capabilities.

Julia looked up in surprise, her teeth clenching slightly as she felt numbness in her wrist, from her analysis, likely something had broken.

She then looked at Kai's leg which is crooked, but before her eyes, she saw the leg adjust itself, then something red enveloped it and seemed to be healing it.

"Are you human?" - asked Julia with sharp eyes.

"I am, now tell me, what do you want with me?" - Kai asked fiercely, thinking that if he continues, he will have to use Rituals above 50% Paranormal Exposure.

Julia felt a chill, feeling that if this continues, the situation could escalate a lot!

"Tell me what are you? What were those things flying around you while cultivating? And what is that covering your leg!" - Julia asked seriously.

Kai snorted, this was getting too annoying, but he soon spoke. - "Even if I told you, you wouldn't understand, but I'm a human who only uses what the world has to offer to cultivate myself, as for what that is, I'm accelerating the regeneration of my leg, it's no big deal."

Julia frowned and asked coldly. - "Do you think I'm stupid?"

"No, just ignorant!" - Said Kai coldly.

Both looked at each other and soon Kai's leg was exposed, apparently intact, which amazed Julia by the speed.

"I won't let you go until you explain it to me, you have no choice!" - Julia said and then Kai frowned, then his whole body shuddered.

Soon he noticed several black veins all over his body, he looked at Julia with hatred. - "Did you poison me?"

"It won't kill you in the next few hours, now tell me what I want to know, what is that thing that [Marked] you called me?" - Julia said coldly as she approached.

Kai reasoned, trying to absorb the poison, but without cultivating, he can only use his Internal Energy to suppress the poison.

He thought about doing some detoxification ritual or taking one of his medications, but… sensing the complexity of this poison, Kai understood that this is beyond his capabilities.

Furthermore, the woman in front of her is in the Unrestricted Realm, being far superior in power compared to her father, not to mention that she is young.

Even if the Unrestricted Realm Masters undergo some rejuvenation, it still has limits, as it does not allow for appearances under 40, but the woman in front of you appears to be around her 25 years old, but that is certainly not her age.

Sighing, Kai sat up and adjusted his breathing, then said. - "Okay, better sit down!"

Julia snorted and got to her feet.

In a luxurious mansion, Julia had her hand in a cold bowl, full of herbs and even poison.

But her mind was not on the fact that her wrist was broken, but on what Kai informed her, a new Base Element, Fear, then Blood, Death, Knowledge and Energy.

Then she went on about its characteristics, the so-called "Membrane" that separates the real from the unreal, then about what it is to be a "Marked".

Kai didn't give him a detailed explanation of what it means, he just said that the "Marked" are always related to important matters linked to the Other Side, matter that can drastically change the world as a whole.

And that allows you to manipulate, to some extent, the Fear Element, which is the most mysterious.

"My lady, what happened?!" - A worried voice broke Julia's focus.

"No big deal, I just found someone interesting." - Julia said calmly.

"What do you mean it's no big deal? Your wrist is broken!" -Screamed the woman analyzing Julia's wrist who grunted with her movement.

"Who made this? Who dared to harm the future leader of the Sky Poison Sect?!" - roared the woman fiercely.

"If I told you that a 16-year-old did this, would you believe it?" - Asked Julia smiling, the woman's eyes widened hearing that.

"As?" - She asked incredulously.

"Do you know about the Fear Element?" - Asked Julia probing.

"Fear Element? You mean that child made you afraid to hurt you?!" - The woman was shocked and furious.

Julia saw that her words were genuine, so putting it aside, she said. - "As soon as I left the banquet, something intrigued me and I discovered a child farming in the forest, it was a curious and unique method, I wanted to know more, but he refused, we fought and in a direct attack, he broke my wrist, even though I was exercising enough of my Internal Energy and Palm Defense Technique."

Her words sounded more and more irrational to the woman.

"That child, is it in the Unrestricted Realm?" - Asked the woman as a joke, but it is the only logic for it.

"No, she is in the Exalted Realm, which makes the situation even more puzzling!" - Julia said smiling and ignoring the woman.

The woman was speechless, 16 years old and in the Exalted Realm, she thought of some possibilities, but having such strength…

Even though Julia is not a Martial Artist who relies on her physical prowess, she is still in the Unrestricted Realm and has gone through the 1st Metamorphosis, she is even reaching the requirement for the 2nd Metamorphosis.

That is, her body is extremely resistant, but still, a 16-year-old child from the Exalted Realm, managed to injure her while she strengthened with her Internal Energy and used a Defensive Palm Technique.

But soon her thoughts turned to tending to Julia's wrist, because that's what matters!

At the same time, in the sky, a mysterious figure was watching everything, having discovered Kai quite a long time ago and had been watching him almost every day.

This figure listened to what he said, became very interested and continued to look at him, wondering what this child would do.

In a dark space, a devilish figure is chained, its eyes tightly closed, until they suddenly open, soon sucking in air and a hideous smile appears on its parched lips.

'Finally, after so many years, the Seal has been undone!' - Thought the excited figure, but then frowned.

'My body… shit… a lot of time has passed… not to mention this damn prison… but… what is this presence? 2 Marked? No, one is, the other… this… is it possible for such a thing to exist?!' - The figure's eyes flashed in disbelief as it focused on sensing things.

Kai was in her room, brow furrowed as she ignored the pain of the poison in her body.

He is fruity and full of hate, that woman toyed with him so easily, he held back too much, his fear of people connected to the Other Side finding out about him, clouded his thoughts and many possible actions.

If he went with everything, he could have killed Julia, he has such confidence, even if it cost him 1 or 2 limbs, he knows he could do it and it's not like he has any problems getting them back.

'Coming here was a bad idea!' - thought Kai sighing in displeasure.

Soon he looked at a pill in her hand, it was Julia who gave it to him, it is obviously the antidote for the poison, which she said was capable of even killing a Master of the Unrestricted Realm on Pico!

But Kai didn't ingest the antidote, he closed his eyes to cultivate, the poison is very potent, if he manages to assimilate with it, make it his power, he will have a good weapon and can become even stronger!

But if he can't, he can swallow the antidote and focus on other things.

And so Kai was in isolation for 2 days, no one disturbed him.

After the 2 days, Kai took an antidote, he tried and reached the limit, but in the end the poison was very strong and complex, his body could not adapt to it all, at most it was only 20%, the remaining 80% probably were the essence of several Deadly Poisons capable of killing Masters of the Unrestricted Realm, something Kai has yet to get his hands on.

Sighing, Kai went to eat something and spoke to his father to find out who that woman was, he wants to know her name and the faction she belongs to, he decided that once he has the strength and confidence, he will make sure to make her pay !

But he soon discovered that from his specifications, Thomas knew who it was and said so.

"How do you know the appearance and clothes Black Widow wore at the feast?" Thomas asked, frowning.

"Black Widow? Who?" - Asked Kai confused, but thinking that the title matches.

Then Kai learned that Julia belongs to the 2nd highest strength of the Dark Faction, the Heavenly Poison Sect!

This left his jaw dropping, followed by great anger, so he asked about her history, wanting to know what she has that he can use.

But then something interesting happened that almost made him laugh out loud, Julia was found in a small town, then became the adopted granddaughter of the Sect Leader.

Practically her whole story was in a book, simple and direct thing, she was lucky to find a powerful Master and since then her life has been flowers.

This made Kai very ecstatic, as a "Marked One" who has not connected to the other side, at least who has not reached 50% Paranormal Exposure, will become the target of Fear!

Even though there is no explanation for what a "Marked One" is, it is only known that the Other Side constantly torments them, causing massacre in all those they love, up to 50% Paranormal Exposure.

At least that's how it was with all the "Marked" known in their past lives, they suffered varying levels of pain, until they reached 50% Paranormal Exposure.

Knowing that Julia hasn't suffered anything just makes him even happier, because he knows that soon the Paranormal will wreak havoc in his life!

So Kai decided to ignore it for now as he knows that maybe, she might come to him begging for help in the near future.
