Occultist in Murim

Christopher Vaulez belonged to an Order that fought against the Paranormal, which is the phenomenon of creatures that were not supposed to exist, but existed due to something called the [Other Side], which passed through a thin layer between reality and this other dimension, called the Membrane! Christopher, nicknamed Kai, was an agent of this Paranormal Order, until he discovered a conspiracy that dated back millennia, discovering that he was just another piece on this great stage. So he is killed, being branded a filthy occultist, a traitor and scourge. But fate seemed to laugh at all this and for some reason, Kai found himself waking up in another world, a world of Martial Arts and something called Inner Energy.
