Living with the Fancy's
Melissa and Natalie chatted for about thirty minutes, Natalie knew she was running out of time. " Where is my daughter, Kylie " she politely asked her sister. Hearing address Kylie as her own she despised the little girl even more.
Being aware how his wife despises Kylie, George quickly replied to her question and immediately went and brought Kylie. Seeing her mom, tears couldn't stop streaming down his cheeks. She ran and embraced her tightly.
"Be strong my little Princess, l know you're a conquerer and you will make it in life," she finally said and then paused. She took out a jewel box which contained a set of a sparkling finely cut diamond jewelry set, she handed it to Kylie and placed it in her hands.
Seeing such a set of Jewelry one could tell that it was worthy billions of dollars. It was very expensive no ordinary man could afford such a set of Jewel.
" This is for you just a token of appreciation because you were the one who make me realize the joys associated with being a mother, thank you. Always remember me just like what l will do wherever am going to. L will be with you whether you're happy or sad and l know you can make it in life. Cherish this set of Jewel , " she paused
And then she held Kylie's little face and said " There is a mystery behind this piece of jewelry, you have to solve it and your dad knows abou..." She could not finish the sentence as she wasn't alive anymore. She wanted to tell her something her father was aware of.
Kylie hugged the box of Jewelry and started crying. Dale was informed so he came and started consoling her. The funeral rites were performed. Kylie was devastated for the loss of a loved one. Dale persuaded her to eat but he failed for the twentieth time since the burial of Natalie but at last she ate. According to Natalie's death wish, the Fancy started staying with Kylie
Days completely changed Melissa treated her like a do. On the other hand, George was the one who secretly fought her battle .
One day, her step aunt's daughter came, they were of the same age and her name was Tatiana Fancy. Tatiana and Kylie befriended each other, no one could separate them. George was pleased.
Dale would come and pick them both and prepare to go to school. The trio learned at the same school. Whenever Melissa gave Kylie little food, Tatiana would exchange lunch boxes with her.
" Giving Kylie little and unhealthy food is the same as giving me the food because l always exchange my food with hers mom," she paused and let out a loud sigh before she continued " its of no use," Each and every day Tatiana would exchange words with her mom because of Kylie's mistreat.
Tatiana and Kylie's relationship was strong even Melissa couldn't break it, unfortunately it easily shattered into pieces after five years, on their fourteenth birthday.
They were both born in the same month, April but different dates so Tatiana insisted to celebrate her birthday together with Kylie. She knew her mom would not celebrate Kylie's birthday and also her birthday would be a grand one.
