Dark secret

Since all galaxies and universes are billions of light years away from each other, it might have been correct to say that Milky Way and Andromeda are now thousands of years or maybe just mere hundreds now, that time travel machines, elevators and bridges are easier to penetrate thus making it simpler to teleport or travel through space, planets and other galaxies, due to the connection. Warps became useful and appropriate too so as to lessen proton use we are able to travel using fuels made out of neutrons and ions. There, our ships can recharge and self-medicate or heal, regenerate even if necessary especially during wars or disasters.

I had a girlfriend and her name was Kimi Yuki who unfortunately passed after giving birth to Kimiko, our son in space. It was her turn to pull the trigger, it rolled and the gun shot Kimi on the forehead which was quite scary, the deafening sound was so vivid from my memory that I can still hear it and my love's cry and smile while she held my hand in fear not for her but our son's life.

When everyone died and all left, were, my son and I. I decided to end my life along with my son but since I hadn't eaten for several days now I totally blacked-out still holding Kimiko in my arms.

I was shocked to wake up alive and there a man named Absalom greeted me with a grin. He said I no longer need to suffer and that they will be the ones to care for Kimiko for the mean time and after I get well, I can return to Earth and be a good father to my son.

Fabian, my old friend, was just an assistant commander during that time and he trained me to become a pilot and commander just like Absalom. Ava was pregnant with Dunea then and I was happy being with my second family in Aurea. Yet, my job as a scientist on Earth was compromised that I needed to go back right away. My superiors and colleagues begged me to return so they can check and use my experiments and records of our flight to outer space. The Galaxon Fleet helped me travel from Andromeda to Milky Way with ease and that was the first time I enjoyed the travels. It was like flying on an airplane or a cruise ship and it was spectacular.

After five years, Kimiko and I went back to Aurea since I resigned from my position as Head Scientist at Gateway Laboratory and were picked up by Absalom on Filia Star Fleet hanging on outer space and chilling at the outskirts of Jupiter and Saturn. Filia was divided into two when Dunea grew up and became sub commander for Star Fleet. That's where everything started and how Kimiko became close friends with the daughter of Aurea's leaders.

It was like a bad dream when that happened twenty years ago and I still couldn't believe I am alive with my son now which I am so grateful for Aurea and Absalom's family for taking us in and helping us get acquainted with their people and their world.

I wouldn't change a thing in my past, just one which made me think twice and wish that I could have died with my Kimi, my beloved wife. I wish you have forgiven me my dearest! I really want to see you but I guess not at the moment. But we will be together maybe sooner than you think!, Mr. Yamamoto thought smiling and crying at Kimi who held his hands in his sleep.

Dad is having that awful dream again. He always shouts and then smiles or cries like a lunatic at night and every freaking night is like a nightmare for me. It's really killing me to ask him what really happened that tragic day with mom in that outer space incident which happened twenty years ago. Out of respect I never asked him about it but I think it's about time I did!, Kimiko thought while covering his dad with the comforter. Dad…what happened there? I hope you will tell me someday! Whenever you are ready, I will listen intently and will be open minded about it so don't worry. Okay! I love you!...Nothing can ever change my love for you, remember that!
