"And then?" The journalist asked, "Is it true that the spirit of the Luna was it inside you? That it was the Goddess herself who came to help you fight the evil of the man?" 

The Queen smiled, "I do not think it was the evil of one man but the manipulation of many behind him. That secret is buried with him today and something we will never know." 

Something that was better, best hidden. 

"But what if he comes back?" The journalist pushed with her questions. "What would you do if you threaten your children again?" 

Adaline's smile vanished in a second. "I do not need the spirit of the luna to help protect myself. I do not require a signal more than knowing that there is a threat present in the room."
