Chapter two 《The crown prince on Earth》

Pearls don't lie on the seashore, if you want one, you must dive for it💕

|CALEB|

I landed in the city of Los Angeles in my human form, the cracking of the ground beneath followed suit. Honestly I pity this poor ground, It has feel the impact of my arrival every damn time.

I adjusted my worn out short sleeved shirt nicely on my trousers which had crumpled due to the forceful intensity I pulled into flying. I have to look good, maybe I'll spot a crippled seventy year old rich billionaire who'll be willing to give me seventy percent of her asset in exchange for one night of intense pleasure. I'll make her scream my name while I fuck her brains out.

My inner spirit growled warningly from where my line of thought was dragging to.

I smiled at his silliness, it's not like I'll stoop that low as to even sleep with a beautiful and energetic young mortal lady. It's so beneath me.

I combed through my overgrown jet black hair to straighten it but ended up messing it up the more.

I think I need to shave.

I'm already scaring mortals away with my height and intimidating aura. Yep that's how it's supposed to be, I want mortals to cower in fear just by one glance in my direction.

My eyes scanned my surroundings, It screamed party witnessing the loud music penetrating every corner.

The smell of of alcohol was clouded in the atmosphere and drunk lads were throwing up in the lawn outside of the bar, even with the door closed you could hear noisy voices and the ground shaking with unwavering beats of music. It wasn't really helping with my heightened sight, sharp sense of smell and quick hearing. It felt as if the music was playing directly into my ears.

Double damn!

Upon all the places in the city of Los Angeles why did I have to be teleported to a party house.

I use mind teleport to travel to wherever I'm interested in going, I mind link my destination and land in my chosen locus.

It doesn't really matter the exact location provided it's in a favourable range.

The stench of filth of hormonal drunk youths were overpowering that I was forced to move farther away from the music.

This was Rogziel's lane, lustful youths going about it like starved animals finally given food to satiate their hunger provides him with energy. I can literally feel his charming laughter vibrating into the thin air of Fhriyaile. I miss them already.

The realm of Fhriyaile is a magnificent dwelling, a perfect place for us Daek Lords even with our punishments and curse, It's still a suitable sanctuary for us away from totorous prying eyes of monstrous mortals who takes delight in seeing us burn to ashes.

I'm no saint, maybe you're wondering but at least I have the decency to hurt people only when I have to.

It's almost impossible to suspect anything unusual about us in our human form but due to the still-searching- answers mortals have found a way to detect and eliminate us from the face of earth.

Earth was like a second hell to us, thinking about it reinstate memories I wouldn't want to be reminded of.

Not only I'm I endangering my safety by coming to earth but also my kind and our undiscovered hideouts but I'd do it all over again if it means justice would be served to the killers of my brothers. I won't rest until I've destroyed every single one of them.

I scrunched my nose in repugnance, these mortals hearts are filled with so much sin and their bodies filled with lust for wealth and power that they won't think twice on sacrificing lives along the line to achieve their set goals.

After my foggy mind was cleared and I was pulled back into the world of awareness, I realized I was standing at an isolated part of the party house. I checked my bearings and turned to walk away when something or should I say someone caught my attention.

Two ladies stood at the edge of a swimming pool seemingly entranced into the world of argument.

The one from my direct vision was a drop dead gorgeous lady. Mortals don't usually catch my eye because women at Fhriyaile have ethereal and naturalized beauty but this lady was gorgeous, I must admit but I knew better she smelled of impurity and uncleanliness which meant she's slept with her fair share of men plus her outline was as red as crimson.

My eyes blinked in disapproval and sheer disgust. She's the Kind mortals won't be satisfied with just a glance, she could bring mortals to their knees with just a flirtatious bat of her eye lashes with her curly ruby fusion hair tied up into a messy bun and a sparkling grey eyes filled with irritation. Her plump luscious lips compliments her angelic face.

She had on a fitting off shoulder brocaded blue dress that barely covered her ass and a pair of matching heels with curves on all the right places and boobs practically popping out of her bra she resembled more of a witch than a slut or both of them used together 'slutty witch'.

The one opposite the slutty witch was a lady with a straight, pure diamond hair pulled up into a pony tail and a beautiful, big midnight emerald eyes which glowed bluish green in the bright moon night. Her eyes!

I sucked in a deep breath, It captivated me and held me hostage, I couldn't move even if I wanted to,

My breath caught in my throat and beads of sweet started making itself visible on my forehead. I felt hot all the a sudden, I unbuttoned my shirt when It got uncomfortable.

This is the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen. It seems to unravel depths of bottomless feelings inside of me. She had an expression that potrayed calmness but I knew she wasn't as weak. I just felt it in my bones.

I couldn't help it, reluctantly yet uncontrollably my eyes travelled slowly downwards not missing an inch of her body.

A decent peach knee length dress with loose flair locking the end complimented her small and curvy waist and a pair of matching silver heels showcased her beautiful long legs.

She wasn't as gorgeous or curvy as the slutty witch but had an aura that commands eyes to trail in her direction when she walks by.

An image of her beautiful long legs wrapped around my neck while I pound relentlessly into her flashed across my mind.

"I'm must be going insane." I muttered rather confusedly to myself.

I've never felt this way, this feeling was alien to me. I couldn't exactly make out what I was feeling because it seems to be a series of different emotions bundled up together to surge through me.

The urge to reach her was so strong that I had to clench my fist from buzzing with energy, the overwhelming urge to let my demons out.

From my peripheral vision I could see the trees trying to fight against the pull of my powers in the form of strong wind howling in the atmosphere.

This was an unusual reaction from me but then today my every reaction is unusual and solely based on instincts, I've always been in control of my powers.

I needed to get out of here before I did something really stupid like bringing this place down, I was disaster after all. It'd have been a score one for me but my treacherous legs had other thoughts.

Then It happened so fast that I'd have missed it with just a blink, the slutty witch pushed the other into the swimming pool, muttered something I couldn't decipher even with my sharp hearing and walked back to the bar.

She struggled to regain her balance but to no avail, I guess she wasn't much of a swimmer or she was probably waterphobic.

I clenched my fist harder until it was numb, the pull to destroy the slutty witch with the almost uncontrollable fire protruding the tips of my fingers in the name of pushing a girl I barely knew into the swimming pool was getting hard to control. Smoke surrounded my clenched hand urging me to let it out.

A barely audible whimper which I was able comprehend with my sharp hearing brought my eyes back to her, Calmness eveloped me at the mere sight of her, the fire even submitted. I could feel it retreating into its place.

When she found no control after a while she begun to scream for help but the water muffled all her efforts.

I just stood there, captured by the shadows and watched with new mixed emotions growing inside of me.

She stopped screaming after a while when no one came to her aid and started to succumb to the darkness.

That's one of the many things I hate about mortals, they give up way too easily without the slightest fight.

I knew I had to walk away, far away from the deceiving facade of mortal women but my legs stood motionless.

Daek Lords are prized for their mercilessness and heartlessness especially towards mortals but I couldn't let her drown to death. It didn't sit well with me.

Heck, who was I deceiving, I just couldn't let her drown to death when I have the capability of saving her.

The urge to rescue her was overwhelmingly strong that I rushed and pulled her out of the pool before my conscience decided to prove me wrong.

Later that night did I realise I wasn't able to smell her nor visualise her outline. This was very strange and it was a big problem.

A very big one.
